Time Out
As the month begins, the inner planets are starting to leave Aries and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. However, action planet Mars remains here until the 18th. And, two of the slower-moving planets, Saturn and Neptune, will be in Aries for some years to come.
Aries represents privacy and secrets in your horoscope, it’s about being quiet and turning your attention inward. Also, it’s about caring for yourself and other people.
Therefore, you may want more time to yourself, whether you enjoy solitary activities such as reading or journalling or you simply sit quietly in reflection. Consider why life’s calling you to focus on your inner life, your faith or time out to study or research.
Taurus Season
Taurus season lasts up until the 21st while the Sun is in your star sign. The Sun represents vitality and energy so make the most of your birthday month and put yourself first.
Line up some events that make you feel good about yourself. This might include pampering and looking after your body, image or profile.
Talk planet Mercury is in Taurus from the 3rd to the 17th and action planet Mars joins the party on the 18th. Therefore, it would be a good time to work on yourself, whether you sign up to a personal development course or boost your skills and talents in some way.
Invest in yourself so you can be your best self moving forward. This includes physical activities, especially once the planet of strength Mars is boosting your star sign.
Work out what it is that’s been holding you back and take the right steps to find answers to questions and solutions to problems. The Full Moon in Scorpio on the 1st would be a good date to make an intuitive decision about a partnership or relationship.
Adding to the emphasis on your star sign Taurus is a New Moon on the 16th. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings and you may be making some bold decisions during this period in the month.
There’s some luck involved, especially on the 11th and 13th. Perhaps, you hear good news or you make the right connections to be able to pursue a personal goal or aim.
Later in the month, however, you may have to make a tough decision. Or you sense that you’re caught between a rock and a hard place. Consider what you might need to let go of and notice where a door closes in your life.
This has a lot to do with the fact that Mars in Taurus clashes with Pluto in Aquarius on the 26th. Aquarius is your career and vocation sector, your future path.
Therefore, this period in the month is likely to be pivotal. It feels explosive, whether you encounter anger from someone else. Or there’s a significant turning point that alters your future path.
Gemini Season
Throughout May, there’s strong emphasis on the air sign Gemini. Your ruling planet Venus is here until the 19th, talk planet Mercury enters Gemini on the 17th and the Sun enters Gemini on the 21st.
Gemini is your personal money sector, linked to your assets and possessions, your values and self-worth. You may be a wheeler-dealer or trading. Perhaps, you want to make some extra cash and you have lots of ideas how to go about it.
Gemini’s one of the mutual star signs so be flexible and adaptable and don’t get stuck in a rut when it comes to money and finances.
There’s another factor to consider, thanks to Uranus’ recent move into Gemini bringing a theme of change and the unexpected. There’s a Mercury-Uranus conjunction on the 18th and a Sun-Uranus conjunction on the 22nd.
Uranus can act like a lighting bolt, the planet linked to electricity and new technologies. You may be one step ahead of the game, buying crypto-currencies or experimenting with all things new and modern.
Uranus is the planet linked to the unexpected, the rebel and rule-breaker. Therefore, you could be sensing this rebellious planetary energy.
If you’re a typical Taurus, money and stability are important to you. And, Uranus is coming along to shake things up and possibly pull the rug from under your feet. Don’t be averse to change and be willing to act fast if necessary to deal with finances and a fast-changing world.

Your ruling planet Venus is the first of the inner planets to enter caring and kind Cancer on the 19th. Cancer is one of the water signs, emotional and empathic.
While Venus remains in Cancer until mid-June, it’s an ideal time to create community in your life, to make new friends and favour connections. You could be getting to know your neighbours or be catching up with your siblings or relatives. Find your tribe, your support.
Pluto Retrograde
Power planet Pluto is now firmly established in Aquarius and your career and vocation sector. This is likely to impact where you’re heading and why. Perhaps, you step up into a position of power. Alternatively, one career path comes to an end as you step down from a job or role.
Pluto switches direction and turns retrograde on the 6th and will remain on go slow until mid-October. This indicates that there’s no rush regarding your next steps. It might be that inner work is what’s needed to change what’s happening externally.
When Pluto switches direction, you could be up against the authorities or be dealing with a difficult boss. You may want to take a step back from a job or role that’s associated with power. Or perhaps, you’ve had enough of feeling controlled or powerless.
