Ready, Set, Go
This month feels like ready, set, go as your ruling planet Mercury whizzes through three different star signs. Up until the 3rd, Mercury is in fire sign Aries. Aries rules your friends, also the society you live in, your group connections and group dynamics. Therefore, this isn’t the time to go it alone.
Action planet Mars is adding passion and drive to the mix up until the 18th. This suggests it’s an excellent time to find your tribe and be active within society. This could mean joining a sports team or finding your voice as a protestor.
Taurus Season
Even though your ruling planet Mercury moves through three star signs this month, this doesn’t mean you’re not encouraged to slow down at times.
This is because the Sun is in Taurus and the most hidden sector of your horoscope up until the 21st. Plus, your ruler Mercury is in Taurus from the 3rd to the 17th.
Traditionally, when planets are in Taurus, you’re advised to turn your attention inward, take time out, rest and retreat. Taurus rules secrets and privacy in your horoscope.
The Full Moon on the 1st cuts across the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac. This could trigger a spiritual awakening within you. At the very least, slow things down and engage in journalling, yoga or meditation to still your busy mind.
If there’s something you want to give up or make a commitment to, the New Moon in Taurus on the 16th would be a good date to choose.
It’s a great New Moon for taking time out from your everyday life to work on a piece of research or immerse yourself in a project that’s hands-on. Art, sculpture, gardening, building, cooking, massage – any activity that uses your hands.
The mid-month period could be a time when you’re making wise decisions about money. The 11th & 13th are key in this respect. Perhaps, you’re investing in care for someone close. Or a link to your past benefits you financially.
Some tricky astrology occurs on the 26th when action planet Mars in Taurus clashes with Pluto in Aquarius. You may recognise where you have to cancel plans or drop something that’s taking up too much of your time.
Aquarius is your travel and study sector and you could decide that one course of action isn’t right for you. Or perhaps, life steps in and tells you no.
If you work in an environment where you’re dealing with angry people or frustration on a daily level, this could take its toll.
Alternatively, it may be a time when you recognise that you’re wise to move away from a toxic situation in your life. Do what’s right for you.
Gemini Season
Hopefully, the Sun’s move into Gemini on the 21st will fire you up and give you the confidence and courage you need to put yourself first. This is the start of your birthday season and you’re right to put yourself first and take centre stage.
Gemini season is when you have the warmth, vitality and energy of the Sun in your star sign. Plus, your ruling planet Mercury leads the way into Gemini season as it moves into its sign of rulership on the 17th.
This is your cue to do more of what you love. Be a true Gemini – talk, debate, be curious about life, study, learn more, speak a language, have fun. Your star sign is social and happy, when life is easy and light.
And, you have one of the best planets Venus lighting up your star sign until the 19th. Therefore, whatever personal or health issues may arise this month, you’re graced with love and lightness. Know who makes you happy and lifts your spirits.
Gemini season is unusually lively this time around because you have wild-card Uranus in your star sign. There’s a Mercury-Uranus conjunction on the 18th and a Sun-Uranus conjunction on the 22nd. This could be a time when you’re whizzing with new ideas.
Uranus is the planet of freedom, rebellion or downright craziness. Therefore, you may recognise where you’re not in agreement with other people and where you want or need to break free.
Something may have to break down in your life before you can break through. Look out for an unexpected occurrence that comes from left field. Or perhaps, you’re ready to do something wild, unpredictable and unconventional.
Venus Cancer
Lovely Venus is the first of the inner planets to enter water sign Cancer on the 19th. Cancer rules money in your horoscope, assets and possessions, also your values.
You might be treating yourself or be investing money in objects of beauty. Or you choose to enhance your surroundings at home or improve your family’s quality of life.
Pluto Retrograde
Power planet Pluto turns retrograde on the 6th in Aquarius and lights up your travel and study sector. You could decide not to travel or fly and play your part in climate change once Pluto switches direction .
Or you’re about to embark on a period of intense study. Pluto’s retrograde until mid-October and this turns your attention inwards. You might be preparing to dive into your life’s work. Or begin a period of psychological transformation linked to religion, philosophy or your spiritual path.
You might have some big decisions to make this month, perhaps regarding travel or study. At times, your dreams could seem beyond your reach, impossible to attain. Yet, for something new to begin, you may first have to let go of an outdated dream, plan or project.
