Libra Season
Libra rules the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Traditionally when planets are in Libra, this brings a chance to restore balance and harmony in your life. The Sun is here until the 23rd and the planet of love and relating Venus returns to Libra on the 25th.
Therefore, you’re wise to seek a peaceful way of life during Libra season, whether this means rest and retreat or prioritising close and intimate relationships. If you’re a typical Scorpio, you often enjoy your one-to-one’s more so than big social gatherings.
Look after yourself well in mind, body and spirit. Seek balance and harmony within and slow down the pace of life. When planets are in Libra, this is a time of preparation.

Scorpio Season
Your birthday season begins officially on the 23rd when the Sun enters your star sign Scorpio. However, this month, Scorpio intensity is active throughout October for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, communication planet Mercury is in your star sign throughout the month. Mercury in Scorpio is the detective and sleuth, the mystery writer and researcher.
Secondly, the planet of relating Venus is in Scorpio up until the 25th. This is a passionate placing for the planet of love. You may be aware of your charisma and magnetism. Or you’re diving deep into a passionate liaison.
Play your part and lead with your emotions. Believe that anything’s possible and tune into magic, wonder and the remarkable during this powerful Scorpio season.
Mars’ Power
Also this month, your traditional ruling planet Mars is in Leo and your career and future sector. Mars represents drive and ambition and you may be keen to pursue a new role or position. Perhaps, you’re stepping up your game at work or you’re starting a business or getting more engaged with world events.
However, there may be influences holding you back, especially when Mars in Leo clashes with your modern ruling planet Pluto in Aquarius and your home and family sector on the 3rd.
This combination is combustible and volatile and you may be involved in a situation which you can’t easily control. A business could fold, a boss could leave or a family member could become your main priority.
This powerful opposition cuts across the foundations of your life. Consider what’s coming to an end or what you’re having to give up. At the same time, consider where you’re ready to dig deep to overcome a crisis or find a solution to an ongoing personal issue.
The planets in Scorpio are pulled into this clash, Mercury on the 2nd & 30th, Venus on the 10th & 20th and the Sun on the 26th, the day of the Full Moon in your opposite star sign Taurus. Therefore, you’re wise to ask what you’re prepared to fight for and where you need to step up your game.
All the clashes are in fixed star signs, encouraging you to be determined, even stubborn. This may be about your future path, your home and family but it’s personal too.
It may be up to you to save a business or support your loved ones. Dig deep if this is true for you – the 7th & 16th are stand-out dates when you could do well financially or at work, as long as you’re willing to take a risk.
Venus & Mercury Retrograde
In addition, two planets turn retrograde this month. The planet of relating Venus on the 3rd and the planet of communication Mercury on the 24th. They both switch direction in your star sign Scorpio and they turn direct close to one another on November 13 & 14.
Therefore, this may be a time when you’re wise to say less as your star sign is linked to silence and secrets. You may be working behind the scenes. Or you’re focused on a research topic or a project that’s dear to your heart.
Sometimes, when planets are retrograde, you’re wise to go on retreat and do things differently. Take a break from your normal routine so you can see your situation from a fresh perspective. Most importantly, keep your cards close to your chest and be strategic, cunning and savvy.
Venus is your partner planet and Venus retrograde can coincide with a period when love slows down, someone goes quiet on you or you find yourself drawn towards people from your past.
Traditionally, this isn’t the best time to marry, make a major investment or have cosmetic surgery. This is because Venus rules money and beauty as well as love.
Venus in Scorpio is passionate, however, so if you are in an on-off relationship or you’re lusting after someone new, this could potentially be an exciting yet turbulent time.
