Ruling Planets
Being a Sun Scorpio, you have two ruling planets, action planet Mars and power planet Pluto. This month, your traditional ruler Mars is retrograde and will remain on go slow until January 12, 2023. Mars turned retrograde on October 30th so you may already know what this is about for you.

In other words, you’re diving deep into Scorpio’s domain. This would be a wonderful retrograde phase for solving mysteries, becoming a detective or finding your next obsession.
Lunar Eclipse
It’s Scorpio season which means it’s your birthday month. The Sun in Scorpio often adds confidence, vitality and warmth to your life until the 22nd when it changes star sign. The Sun isn’t the only planetary body in Scorpio as talk planet Mercury and the planet of relating Venus are also here as November begins. This month, you’re going in deep.
This month is extra powerful because it’s eclipse season. On October 25th, there was a powerful New Moon or Solar Eclipse in Scorpio. This month, there’s an equally powerful Full Moon or Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on the 8th. These eclipses are cutting across the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac and are part of the eclipse cycle that will complete in October 2023.
This eclipse is about your relationships, your one-to-one’s, your identity and who you’re becoming. These are the areas where life could be dramatic or you sense that things are changing. Eclipses often have a theme of endings and beginnings so pay close attention to what happens between the 5th & the 11th and peaks on the 8th.
Your relationships may be shifting so embrace change as best you can. If someone’s being unreliable, step in to help. If you want more freedom in your life, make it happen.
Yet, there are other ways that this powerful eclipse could play out. You might have a psychic experience or converse with the dead. Scorpio season is when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. However, ensure that you don’t go in so deep that you lose sight of the light.
If you’re a typical Sun Scorpio, you might have a side to your nature that can spiral downwards. If this happens, you need other people in your life who can bring humour, laughter and lightness into your world.
During the eclipse, Uranus in Taurus sits tightly next to the Moon. This could indicate the importance of a third party in your life. You may encounter someone who embodies Uranus’ principles of freedom, rebellion & downright craziness. Alternatively, you may recognise where you’re not in agreement with other people and where you want or need to break free.
It’s potentially argumentative around the eclipse and you might feel frustrated at times. Both the Sun & Moon are squared by Saturn in Aquarius, the star sign at the base of your horoscope and your home and family sector, also your link to the past.
Therefore, someone could stop you making progress or show their disappointment. You may be up against the authorities, a parent or someone disapproving. It might be that you feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.
This powerful eclipse is triggering the Saturn-Uranus square that was the major planetary aspect of 2021. Since the middle of this year 2022, these two planets have been in conflict once again. Saturn represents rules & regulations, while Uranus is bout freedom & liberation. It can be a classic clash of the old v. the new.
This combination feels personal to you, whether you’re caught up between warring factions or a family situation reaches breaking point. Try not to over-react. Yet, at the same time, don’t avoid what’s happening. Wait a few days after the eclipse before moving in.
Jupiter Joy
From mid-month onwards, there’s an easier flow of planetary energy and some stand-out dates to look forward to. The 15th, 16th & 21st are notable when the inner planets in Scorpio align with the best planet Jupiter in Pisces and a fellow water sign.
This is an indication to turn your focus towards what you want from life. Pisces represents creativity, love affairs, entertainment, fun and children in your horoscope. It’s the playful sector and it’s about doing more of what you love.
Plan some fun events with friends and family and make laughter and socialising high priority whenever you can. Focus on the positives in your life and veer away from negativity.
It’s the same if you’ve always wanted to write a book, be an artist or play a musical instrument. While Jupiter’s in Pisces, revisit your childhood dreams and take the first step towards turning a dream into reality.
Jupiter’s move into Pisces isn’t going to sort out all the nitty-gritty boring stuff of life but it is going to move play and pleasure higher up your life barometer and that’s got to be a good thing. It’s a promising symbol for romance too.
Sagittarius Season
Finally this month, the inner planets begin to shift away from your star sign Scorpio on the 16th & 17th. This process completes on the 22nd when the Sun leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius and your money sector.
This is where to turn your attention towards the end of the month. Make the right money moves on the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 23rd. A New Moon is a chance to start over and begin again. Plus, this New Moon is auspicious because Jupiter is its ruling planet and Jupiter turns direct on the exact same day.
This combination feels lucky and it might be a good time to speculate. There are, however, likely to be some ups and downs on the financial front throughout the month thanks to Mars retrograde in Gemini and your joint finance sector.
Avoid the 19th for money moves and be wary of any kind of scam or financial deceit. Instead, turn your gaze towards the New Moon and the days following. The 28th is excellent for finalising a money deal that could help your family or be linked to property or your past.
