Pisces Season
It’s an intriguing month, when you may sense that you have one foot in the past and one foot in the future. You’re being pulled back towards the past for a number of reasons.
Firstly, the Sun is in Pisces, the star sign at the base of your horoscope, until the 20th. Pisces represents your home and family, your past and where you come from and Pisces is an emotional water sign. Plus, Pisces’ planet Neptune is active this month on the 2nd, 19th, 27th & 30th.
This might be a time when you’re feeling especially sentimental or you’re wallowing in the past or a time gone by. You might be drawn back towards the place you grew up or be taking a trip down memory lane.
The big event in Pisces season is the Lunar Eclipse on the 14th which cuts across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac and the foundations of your horoscope. Virgo rules your career and vocation, your future and where you’re heading in life, whereas Pisces is home and family related.
Eclipses often coincide with significant change and this highlights your home and family, your career and vocation. It’s where you come from and where you’re heading to. You may be on the move, leaving home or be transitioning to a new domestic situation. It might be a significant turning point for your career or future direction. And, this could relate back to events in September 2024 when this eclipse cycle started.
In addition, finances are under the cosmic spotlight thanks to action planet Mars moving forwards again in Cancer and your joint finance sector. Perhaps, you’re saving for the future or you’re fired up and ready to deal with a debt situation.
The more you focus on your family, your home and your future security, the more this may inspire you to be proactive around money and finances.
Venus Retrograde
Pisces is an active star sign this month but there’s also a lot happening in fire sign Aries. This is the part of your horoscope which rules romance and love affairs and the love planet Venus is here from the beginning of March. Aries rules romance, children, creativity and entertainment, all the things in life you choose to ‘give birth to’.
Yet, it’s not a straightforward picture, even though your astrology this month is pulsating with passion. This is because love planet Venus turns retrograde in Aries on the 2nd and will remain on go slow until mid-April. Therefore, you could change your mind when it comes to love. Or a new relationship quickly develops into an on-off affair.
Ideally, this is the time to reassess and review your situation rather than make a final decision. Yet, your stars are hot. Venus is in action on the 11th and 23rd. Therefore, it may be hard for you to hold back when it comes to love, even if you don’t know what the outcome is going to be. Any new love affair could be short-lived. That doesn’t mean don’t enjoy yourself, if you get the opportunity to do so.
Mercury Retrograde
You may feel the sap rising with love planet Venus in Aries. Plus, the 20th is the day of the Equinox when the Sun moves into Aries and spring begins officially in the northern hemisphere, Talk planet Mercury is the other inner planet moving into fire sign Aries on the 3rd.
This means that passionate, creative fire sign energy is kicking in big-time and you might feel as if 2025 is finally getting underway. It’s all going on in the star sign Aries, which rules pleasure and fun in your horoscope. Line up some big entertainment for the weeks ahead.
It’s not all fun and games, however, and some issues could arise after the 15th. This is the date when communication planet Mercury turns retrograde and joins Venus retracing its steps through the zodiac.
Mercury retrograde is the trickster and things don’t always go according to plan when Mercury’s in retreat. You don’t have the full picture and it can be a time of lies or misunderstandings. Bear this in mind, especially in your close relationships.
Play a waiting game until Mercury and Venus turn direct mid-April before you make up your mind about love or an issue around children or parenting. You might have to tread gently with someone in your life, perhaps a child or lover. Take your foot off the accelerator and let things be until you have more information about what’s going on.
Solar Eclipse Aries
The other big event taking place is the Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th. A Solar Eclipse is a turbo-powered New Moon and a symbol of new beginnings. However, this is the last eclipse in the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began in April 2023. Therefore, you may be aware that one significant chapter in your life is coming to an end.
Plus, the following day, the 30th, Neptune makes its epic move into Aries bringing dreams, imagination, compassion and wonder into your creativity and romance sector. This is an opportunity to do more of what you love, even if not everything works out the way you want it to.
This is especially important if you’re dealing with any sadness or a difficult personal situation. Both Venus and Mercury return to Pisces and your home and family sector on the 27th & 30th respectively. Endings and beginnings, alpha and omega, one foot in the past and one foot in the future.
Yet, as you’re one of the fire signs, you may choose to leap into life and love this month. The Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th could be a stand out moment, bringing you happiness in the shape of love, a child or a creative triumph.
In general, this is a month when you’re willing to take a risk to see what happens. Success isn’t guaranteed but the excitement may more than make up for living life on the edge.
