Pisces Season
Throughout March, you might be in one of the most creative periods of your year. This is because there’s strong focus on the star sign Pisces ruling ideas and communication in your horoscope.
Communication planet Mercury starts the month in Pisces and the Sun is here until the 20th. Plus boundless Neptune teams up with the inner planets in Pisces on the 2nd, 19th, 27th & 30th. This would be a wonderful time to lose yourself in an artistic project or the realm of the imagination.
You might be inspired by film or have a sudden urge to write poetry. Tap into your creativity and get in touch with your spirit, your soul. This could be a deeply meaningful time for you.
The other possibility is that you end up feeling confused, as if you’re swimming round in circles. Conversations could be especially emotional or sensitive or your feelings are overwhelming. If this is the case, put some boundaries or guidelines in place on or around the 12th. This is the date when your ruling planet Saturn aligns with the Sun in Pisces.
You’re moving from the realm of fantasy into the world of reality when Saturn kicks in. If you’ve been head down reading or studying or enjoying a news detox, things could shift mid-month.
This is when there’s a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on the 14th. This highlights schools and teaching, learning and knowledge in your horoscope. Pisces rules siblings, neighbours and your local community, while the opposite star sign Virgo rules travel, study and foreign connections.
Some hopes or dreams may have to be shelved or postponed on or around this eclipse and it may be time to be realistic about what you can and can’t achieve. Yet, other new goals and dreams could emerge in their place.
One thing’s for sure, people count this month. This is because you have a pile up of planets in touchy-feely water signs, Pisces and Cancer. This is not a month to be on your own. Instead, reach out to people close to you. Whether you want to ask for help and support or offer fun and friendship or vice versa, encourage the flow of love and connection in your life and the lives of others.
Love and relationships are under the cosmic spotlight too. It might be worth kicking a casual relationship into touch, if you’re ready for something more comforting and committed. This is because passion planet Mars is moving forward again in Cancer and your opposite star sign throughout March. Turn your attention towards your one-to-ones, both personal and professional.
Venus Retrograde
Also, it looks as if there’s a lot going on at home or within your family this month. Talk planet Mercury moves into Aries and your home and family sector on the 3rd and the Sun enters Aries on the 20th, the day of the Equinox.
The other planet in Aries is love planet Venus. However, Venus turns retrograde on the 2nd which could flag up some changes at home or within your family. Venus is the planet of relating so perhaps someone lets you down. Or you have to change plans to be there for a family member.
Be patient and do what you can to sort things out at home without taking on too much. Keep engaging with the ones you love and keep moving forward with home and family-related issues.
Know, however, that you can only achieve so much as Venus remains on go slow until mid-April. In fact, it might not be until May when you can sort out a misunderstanding or turn a disappointment into a triumph.
As Venus is the planet of beauty, you can use this Venus retrograde phase to beautify your home and reassess or review your family relationships. It doesn’t mean you won’t buy a new home but you’re wise not to make any major changes for now. See this as a time of experimentation.
Mercury Retrograde
March is a good month to reconnect or catch up with siblings or relatives and home and family affairs could play a key role in your life. The sociable planets Mercury and Venus are teaming up in Aries and your home and family sector.
Traditionally, the Sun’s move into Aries on the 20th, the day of the Equinox, is the time to make a fresh start, whether you’re on the move, you’re spring cleaning or you’re changing around your family or living space in some way. The 11th, 23rd & 24th could prove to be significant dates, perhaps because you’re taking a trip down memory lane or you’re ready to let go of the past.
There are other reasons, however, why you may be engaging with family members more than usual. If you have any issues between you, this could be a complex month.
This is because talk planet Mercury turns retrograde in Aries on the 15th. Mercury retrograde can be a time of misunderstandings and you’re wise not to push too hard to get things resolved. Instead, be patient, take your time and review things carefully. Perhaps, you’re in contact with someone from your past and this impacts your future path.
Alternatively, you may find that a property deal stalls and you’re having to play a waiting game on a third party. It’s always worth chasing people up when Mercury’s in its retrograde phase. And know that the turning point comes mid-April.
Solar Eclipse Aries
Home and family could be where dramas are rife as there’s a lot going on here. The Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th falls in this same part of your horoscope. A more assertive approach may be required as the month comes to a close.
As it’s a Solar Eclipse, there’s a theme of new beginnings. Where in life are you starting over? Something new may be growing and emerging as March comes to an end and April begins.
Plus, the planet of dreams Neptune makes an epic move into Aries on the 30th, the day after the Solar Eclipse. There’s a theme of endings and beginnings here, alpha and omega. In addition, the Solar Eclipse on the 29th is the last eclipse in a cycle which began in April 2023.
Either way, this may be a major transitional phase in your life. What are you letting go of? Where are you ready to set sail? Whatever path you’re on, it feels as if you’re wise to be in tune or aligned with loved ones, your family or wider family. It may take a while to settle and find your new home or feel comfortable in your own skin but the process is beginning now. Sometimes, you have to shed a skin before new growth emerges.
