Libra Horoscope March 2025
Venus Retrograde
On the 3rd, communication planet Mercury enters Aries and the 20th is the day of the Equinox when the Sun enters Aries. So this is not a time when you can go it alone as Aries is your opposite sign.
This puts the focus on relationships and your one-to-one connections, both personal and professional. March is an important month to turn your attention towards all form of relationships and consider how working in partnership can benefit you.
There are some provisos, however, and it won’t all be whistles and bells when it comes to love and relationships. As the month begins, your ruling planet Venus is in Aries and this isn’t always a happy marriage. This is because your star sign Libra is the relating star sign and Aries represents the individual. Perhaps, you’re single for the first time in ages. Or you’re on your own because a partner’s away.
With Venus in Aries, you may need to put yourself first, especially if you’re lacking balance in a close relationship. Or perhaps, it’s important to assert yourself around other people. One of your Libra life lessons is learning to say no as you’re a people pleaser by nature and you don’t like to upset others. Consider the balance of power in your one-to-one’s. If it’s out, decide what can you do to regain equilibrium.
This is important because your ruling planet Venus turns retrograde in Aries on the 2nd. Venus will remain on go slow for the next six weeks and is only back up to speed in Aries in the month of May.
Traditionally, when Venus is retrograde, it’s not the best time to marry or start a new relationship. What Venus retrograde is good for is playing a waiting game so you can reassess or review your personal situation.
That might prove to be a challenge, however, because Venus in Aries, whether direct or retrograde, is passionate and forthright. You might be heading into a situation which you know is foolish or dangerous and yet you can’t help yourself.
What’s wise is to slow things down and turn away from a difficult situation so you can process your feelings and take your time to decide what next.
Pisces Season
Also, work and money are under the cosmic radar this month as the Sun remains in Pisces and your work and health sector until the 20th. Find a healthy routine that works for you and focus on getting the basics of life right.
In addition, action planet Mars is moving forward again in Cancer and your career and vocation sector. Make the most of this and rev up your ambitious nature and your desire to get to the top of your profession.
As a Libra, it’s the connections you make that can propel you forward the fastest. You’re a natural diplomat and mediator and your people skills are second-to-none. Make your mark, play big and keep your eye on your future goals.
At the same time, it’s important that you learn when you need to relax, rest and retreat. Time out can be healing, especially mid-month. This is a period when you may be pulled back into your past, as you deal with grief or loss.
It’s important to slow down if you don’t have a lot of energy or a personal situation is exhausting. If you’re aware that something’s got to change, this could be the time when things break down so you can break through.
This is due to the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. This takes place on the 14th and highlights your work and health and being of service to others. Do your bit to help, listen or counsel, without taking on the woes of the world.
Both Venus and Mercury will return to Pisces and your work and health sector on the 27th & 30th respectively. Listen for subtle signs that things are shifting in one or both of these key areas, work & health. Retrograde planets are great for reconnecting with contacts from your past. Perhaps, someone you consulted with previously can help you moving forward.
Mercury Retrograde
The day after the Lunar Eclipse, talk planet Mercury turns retrograde in Aries on the 15th. One way this can play out is that a lover goes quiet on you. Or you have to keep things private when Mercury’s on go slow. Certainly, you can’t be sure about another person’s intentions when Mercury’s retrograde.
Retreat is another option if you sense it would help your situation. Or perhaps, you’re teaming up with other people and working on secret plans or projects behind the scenes. There’s a clandestine feel to this month’s astrology. If you’re unsure of another person’s motives or intentions, keep your cards close to your chest until you know more.
At its best, March will be a month when other people fire up your life and enthusiastic individuals help you to get things done. If you need some time to yourself, however, schedule this into your busy diary and don’t use up all your energy trying to cater for other people’s needs. Any misunderstandings may only be sorted out mid-April. For now, protect yourself and your own interests.
Solar Eclipse Aries
Even with all that’s going on astrologically, it might not stop you leaping into a new partnership on or around the Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th. A Solar Eclipse is a turbo-powered New Moon and a symbol of new beginnings.
However, this eclipse is the last eclipse in the powerful Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began in April 2023. Therefore, consider what chapter in your life is coming to an end, especially around relationships, your identity or how other people see you.
Plus, the following day, the 30th, Neptune changes star sign and makes its epic move into Aries. As Neptune is the planet of romance, this could be the start of something big.
Note, however, that Neptune can flip both ways as it is the planet linked to seduction and deceit. Plus, until your ruler Venus turns direct on April 13th, this isn’t the time to make any major decisions or investments around love or money.
Alternatively, you could experience some deep healing linked to a past relationship. One way or another, you’re going to be learning a lot from your one-to-ones in the month ahead, both personally and professionally.
