Leo Season – Solar Eclipse
Leo is the star sign of the moment and this is where you find the Sun up until the 23rd. Talk planet Mercury is in Leo from the 9th to the 25th and big planet Jupiter will be in Leo until the middle of next year.

Also this month, there’s a powerful Solar Eclipse in Leo on the 12th. A Solar Eclipse is a turbo-powered New Moon which means things can happen fast.
A new friendship or group activity may start quickly on or around the eclipse date so notice who’s around you. This is the Year of the Horse in Chinese astrology, a bold and dynamic influence. Be around friends of influence and connections who can open doors for you.
This eclipse is part of the Leo/Aquarius eclipse cycle which began in February 2026 and continues until January 2028. The Leo/Aquarius axis is a social axis for you linked to fun, creativity, children, friends and good times while eclipses have a theme of change and accelerated growth.
Three days after the eclipse, there’s a glorious Mercury/Jupiter conjunction in Leo on the 15th. This would be a great weekend to go on a trip with your friends or join in with a study venture. Both planets are linked to education and travel.
Then, at the end of the month, Jupiter in Leo aligns with Saturn in Aries in a powerful trine aspect, on the 31st. Aries is your relationship sector. Therefore, you could be making a commitment to a partnership on or around this date.
Perhaps, you’re aligning yourself with a good friend, either for personal or professional reasons. Alternatively, you could meet a teacher or guide who’s going to play a key role in your life moving forward.
Venus Libra
Your ruling planet Venus moves into your star sign Libra on the 6th where she will remain until September 10. This is lovely for you and indicates that August could be a social month for you. Perhaps, you’re attending a festival, party or big celebration.
Venus is the planet of love and money, art and beauty. When your life is graced by Venus, It’s often a time when you’re more popular or attractive to others. It’s an ideal symbol for using your charm and people skills to win others over. The 12th & 17th are good dates to do so.
Virgo Season – Lunar Eclipse
This is likely to be a month of highs and lows and you may have to constantly realign your Libra zodiac scales. This is because of what’s happening towards the end of the month when there’s planetary activity in Virgo and the most hidden sector of your horoscope.
Virgo’s your previous star sign and the Sun is here from the 23rd onwards. Plus, talk planet Mercury joins the Sun in Virgo on the 25th. Therefore, it’s important to learn when you need to relax, rest and retreat. Time out can be healing especially if you’re pulled back into your past.
Yet, it’s not a good idea to be too introverted or spend too much time lost in your thoughts. If you’re aware that you’re going round in circles, seeking answers without resolution, pace yourself, be kind and slow things down. It might help to express what you’re feeling, either writing in a journal or talking to someone in confidence.
A stand-out date is the 27th when there’s a Sun-Mercury cazimi conjunction in Virgo. This combination feels magical so trust your intuition, listen out for synchronicities and learn from your past. Faith is a key theme for you and doing whatever’s necessary so you don’t lose your trust in the universe.
However, the following day, a Lunar Eclipse takes place on the 28th and eclipses bring what’s hidden to light. Secrets or confidences can emerge and you could be dealing with sensitive information. This is part of the Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle which began in September 2024 and completes in February 2027.
Think about how you’re spending your time. It’s here where your Libra scales can be valuable for you, considering how you balance the hours in your day. If you’re wasting your time, be firm with yourself and create new plans and strategies to help your productivity and well-being. This is an important month to think about the information you’re receiving and use your time wisely.
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse takes place in Pisces and your work and health sector. Immediately, this indicates that it’s important to look after yourself and focus on your well-being. When there’s strong activity in Virgo, your hidden sector, and Pisces, your health sector, learn to love yourself fully and be kind to yourself.
Ensure you get plenty of sleep, eat well and rest and relax when necessary. If you find your mind running away with you or your emotions overwhelming you, return to nature to ground yourself.
This might be a time when you’re shedding what’s difficult or letting go of what’s no longer needed. This might be linked to your work and routine, your lifestyle or health. Most importantly, look at ways to eliminate stress. It won’t be easy if a job comes to an end but, with hindsight, you may see this is the turning point you need and a chance to start afresh.
There is a proviso during this eclipse, however, because wild-card Uranus is square to the Sun, Mercury and the Moon on the 28th, the day of the eclipse. Uranus is in Gemini and your travel and study sector and this combination can feel restless.
Be aware that plans could change suddenly close to the eclipse date. Be extra flexible and double-check everything, especially if you’re travelling or about to embark on a course of study.
Mars’ Power
Finally this month, talk planet Mercury leaves Cancer and your career and vocation sector on the 9th. Mercury’s been here for an unusually long time since early June. Plus, big planet Jupiter took up residence in Cancer in June 2025. Since then, there’s always been at least one planet in this sector of your horoscope.
Two days after Mercury leaves Cancer, action planet Mars picks up the Cancer baton and enters your career and vocation sector where it remains until the end of September. This could rev up your ambitious nature and your desire to get to the top of your profession. If things haven’t been working out for you, Mars is encouraging you to be proactive and get things moving.
As always with your star sign Libra, it’s often the connections you make that can propel you forwards. You’re the diplomat and mediator of the zodiac and, at your best, your people skills are second-to-none. Use what you possess within your power to make your mark and keep your eye on your future goals and next steps.
