Jupiter turns direct [13 Scorpio 21]

Rescue Mission
Today there is a major astrological event as big planet Jupiter turns direct after four months retrograde, i.e. on go slow. Jupiter is currently in Scorpio, the star sign which represents deep water. As Jupiter turns direct in Scorpio, it seems quite remarkable that the last of the Thai boys and their football coach are embarking on a journey of faith through submerged tunnels of water and back to safety.
Jupiter’s the protective planet and there’s been an outpouring of concern and care for this incredible story. One diver has sadly lost his life and the return journey to their families and freedom is not for the faint-hearted. Photos emerged today of the last boys meditating before they set off on what must seem a really scary expedition.
The little I know is that it will take a few hours to free the trapped boys and coach from the flooded cave system and some places in the submerged tunnels are only 40cm wide. Talk about putting your faith in the divers, who are guiding the boys through the dark water before they reach the light and come up for air. An incredible feat for all concerned.
Jupiter Retraces Its Steps
On a personal level, Jupiter’s change of direction is often a major event when fortune favours you or you rediscover the hope and faith you need in order to move on. This is especially true if you are a Sagittarius or Pisces as Jupiter is your ruling planet and this spells good news for Scorpio too.
Also, if you have key planets/angles between 13 to 23 degrees Scorpio, Jupiter is moving back over these degrees, reawakening what’s lain dormant for the last four months. Jupiter turned retrograde on March 9, 2018 at 23 degrees Scorpio. Jupiter’s now back at 13 degrees Scorpio, the same place it was mid-December 2017.
This is a positive time to refuel, develop strength and courage and be ready once again to follow a dream, a goal, a yearning. This might be something that kicked in early in the year but was then put on hold. From today, Jupiter continues in forward motion in Scorpio until November 8, 2018 so you have a few months left to use Scorpio’s transformational powers to good effect.
Jupiter in Scorpio is about living intensely and feeling deeply. You might have something scary or challenging lined up that requires you to dig deep. Jupiter in Scorpio is helpful for taking a big risk, one where you harness the power of your emotions to do something that means a lot to you and can transform your own or other peoples’ lives. You can’t do this without hope and faith and Jupiter will help you to find the purpose and positivity you need to carry you forward.

Thank you!
I think there’s a glitch in the system. I apologize as it looks like my comment posted twice.
I don’t mean to be annoying. 🙂
It’s fine, it does that sometimes. I’ve removed one of them 🙂
Hi Sally!
And thank you for this post!
I’m a Pisces Sun and Scorpio moon (11 degrees Scorpio with no planets at 13 degrees Scorpio). I hope this Jupiter direct will bring better luck than I had at the beginning of the year. I graduated January of 2017 from law school and was supposed to take the bar exam to get my license to become a practicing lawyer, but I was too intimidated to take the bar exam soon after graduation. So I waited until a year after graduation and was finally ready to face my fears (after all the years of studying) so I took the exam in February of 2018. But when the results came out I found out I only passed a portion of the bar exam and my entire life was put on hold.
I think Jupiter Retrograde played a part in this, So I am scheduled to retake the portion that I failed on July 25, and I hope to pass at this time by middle of September when results are released, so I can become a practicing lawyer in Florida and start my life with new employment and a new life. I am looking forward to Jupiter Direct and I hope it brings the good luck that it is known to bring.
Thank you Sally❤️
Hi,
Just wondering what I could expect when natal Jupiter in scorpio conjunctions my natal Uranus is Scorpio in October? I will also have my nodal return within a days of that conjunction.
Uranus promises surprises – an entrepreneurial combination – Jupiter/Uranus. Look to the house it falls in and which house both Jupiter and Uranus rule in your birth chart.
