Libra Season
It’s Libra season while the Sun is at the peak of your horoscope until the 23rd. Libra rules your career and vocation, your status and reputation. Plus, the planet of relating Venus will return to Libra on the 25th.
Libra’s one of the air signs and you’re wise to engage your logic and rationality when it comes to your future path. This is less about feeling your way forward and more about working things out strategically.
Work your connections, as this is where you could make progress or be able to get ahead of the rest of the pack. Use Libra season to schmooze and charm other people and know that people power counts for a lot.
Plus, there’s a New Moon in Libra on the 10th, a symbol of new beginnings. This falls at the peak of your horoscope and is an ideal date to send off a job application or consider your next steps. However, know that anything which begins this month could take some time to come to fruition.
Yet, you’re wise to remember the power of connection during the New Moon phase and ensure you have the right kind of support, help and advice to boost your progress.
Scorpio Season
Scorpio season begins officially on the 23rd when the Sun enters Scorpio. However, this month, Scorpio intensity is active throughout October for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, communication planet Mercury is in Scorpio all month. Mercury in Scorpio favours insight and focus when it comes to words and communication. Secondly, the planet of relating Venus is in Scorpio and your friendship and group sector up until the 25th.
This confirms that you’re more powerful when you expand your network and connections. Don’t feel you have to do everything on your own this month.
These combinations are great for teamwork and collaborative ventures. Align yourself with people in a position of power or influence. This may be what’s needed if life takes you down a new path.
Mars’ Clash
However, there is some challenging astrology this month to take into account. Firstly, action planet Mars is moving through fire sign Leo and your joint finance sector.
Mars likes to be in Leo where it’s confident and strong and is encouraging you to be bold and courageous when it comes to money. Yet, it may be that not all your financial dealings will work out well.
This is because Mars in Leo clashes with power planet Pluto in Aquarius and your personal money sector on the 3rd and this combination is volatile. It could mean that you’re having to fight for what’s rightfully yours. Or you’re caught up in a competitive financial situation.
Alternatively, you may be up against the authorities or recognise that it’s time to cut your losses and run. Do whatever’s right for you and don’t be pushed into making a decision that won’t benefit you in the long run.
Also, the planets in Scorpio are pulled into this conflict. Therefore, consider why your friends are involved or whether finances are impacting a group that you belong to.
Mercury is involved on the 2nd & 30th, Venus activates the clash on the 10th & 20th and the Sun squares Pluto in Aquarius on the day of the Full Moon in Taurus, the 26th.
Therefore, any conflict or argument may pull in different people. Or it means that people in your life take sides. This could involve children, a lover, as well as friends and associates.
It may be that you’re wise to focus on your own finances and ensure you’re independent of other people’s actions. The best dates for work and home and property matters are the 7th & 16th.
Venus & Mercury Retrograde
The two planets in Scorpio aside from the Sun are social Venus and Mercury. Therefore, you may gain a huge amount of excitement or adrenalin rush from the people you hang out with this month. Hone in on the friends and group activities which fill you with passion and awaken your inspiration.
That’s not to say you’ll get on with everyone and it’s important to choose your friends carefully. This is because, Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio on the 3rd and Mercury turns retrograde in Scorpio on the 24th.
This could be a tricky time to mix friendship and love. Or issues arise around friendship. Alternatively, you could be up to your tricks and wondering how you can benefit from a friend or group in your life.
When planets are retrograde, there’s a secretive theme and it often indicates that something hidden is taking place. Be careful what you get involved in and notice your own motivations. Scorpio is a secretive and private star sign.
This month might be when you take a step back from a friendship or group activity. Or you’re on a waiting list to join an exclusive club. Know that timing is the key to collaborative ventures and group connections. Some friendships may go quiet. Or you’re the one who wants to slow things down.
A positive way to use retrograde phases is to create more time to reassess and review where you’re heading and why. Go somewhere different, hang out with new people and ring the changes.
