Libra Season
It’s Libra season up until the 23rd, while the Sun is in your fellow air sign. When planets are in Libra, you’re in the realm of logic and rationality, when you can work things out strategically, rather than relying on intuition or emotion.
Libra rules travel and study in your horoscope, the bigger picture of life. Therefore, you may be away this month or be planning a holiday or adventure. When it’s Libra season, you’re often keen to expand your horizons and improve your knowledge.
It’s a good time to stimulate your curiosity and step out of your everyday routine. Engage actively with other people and events that are different and inspiring.
If you’re a typical Aquarius, you don’t want to do everything on your own. This month, you may be more interested in joining in with a group of people and finding people of like minds. Say yes to a new experience, do your bit for society and the world or go and explore distant horizons.
Also this month, there’s a New Moon in Libra on the 10th, a symbol of new beginnings. A New Moon is an ideal date to start a new venture and step out of your comfort zone.
Scorpio Season
Scorpio season starts officially on the 23rd, when the Sun moves into Scorpio. However, this month, there’s plenty of Scorpio intensity throughout October. Firstly, communication planet Mercury is in Scorpio all month. This is often a peak time for negotiations, meetings and interviews.
Secondly, the planet of relating Venus is in Scorpio until the 25th. This means that your connections and relationships are important regarding your career and future path. Sometimes, it means you can be tempted into a passionate affair, mixing business with pleasure.
Scorpio rules your career and vocation, your status and reputation, the gateway to your future path. However, things may not be smooth this month, thanks to other planets involved.
Mars’ Clash
Firstly, action planet Mars is in Leo and your relationship sector throughout October. Mars in Leo is powerful, confident and strong. This could indicate a person in your life who’s dominant, effective or gets things done. Perhaps, it’s about a personal relationship. Or you’re keen to pursue a joint business venture.
However, Mars isn’t arriving in Leo quietly. On the 3rd, Mars in Leo is opposed by power planet Pluto in your star sign Aquarius and this is a volatile combination.
This could mean that there’s someone in your life who’s a loose cannon. You might be the one who has to step in to sort things out. It could even go so far as calling the police or getting the authorities involved.
Be wary of who you’re up against at the start of the month and notice where you’re being called to step in and take charge. Rub people up the wrong way and this could work against you. And, be wary of people wielding their power for the wrong reasons.
There’s a possibility that whatever the conflict in your life, this could impact your career or future path. This is because the planets in Scorpio are pulled into the clash.
Mercury is involved on the 2nd & 30th, Venus joins the conflict on the 10th & 20th and the Sun clashes with Pluto on the day of the Full Moon in Taurus, the 26th.
This indicates that what’s happening in your personal life could impact your professional life and vice versa. Choose your partnerships carefully and play a strategic game. If you’ve got an enemy or tough opponent in your life, you’ll know about it this month.
Venus & Mercury Retrograde
Also in October, two of the personal planets turn retrograde, the planet of relating Venus and the planet of communication Mercury. Venus is first on the 3rd followed by Mercury on the 24th. Both planets turn retrograde in Scorpio and both planets will turn direct close to one another on November 13 & 14.
This suggests you’re wise to keep your cards close to your chest this month and adopt a secretive approach to your career, business or vocation. Don’t reveal everything and know that some people will be on your side whereas other people could be working against you.
You may lose the support of a buddy at work. Or someone changes their mind and breaks a promise. There could be changes at work. Or you have to tiptoe carefully around someone you don’t trust.
For some reason, events in October may require you to slow down for a while, especially if you feel that life is moving too quickly. Or you’re finding a position or role is too much for you.
Sometimes, you have to rethink or review your situation during the retrograde phase. Go over old ground and use your time constructively. If necessary, put on the brakes and stop what you’re doing.
You may be able to approach someone from your past to help you in your current or future goals. There could be an old project that you can revive or rework. These are positive ideas to focus on while Mercury and Venus are on go slow.
