Pisces Season
As March begins, it’s important to pay close attention to money matters. This is because the Sun is in Pisces and your personal money sector until the 20th. Pisces is where there’s a flood of planetary activity taking place and you may be feeling emotional about money matters.
The planet Neptune is active this month and teams up with the inner planets on the 2nd, 19th, 27th & 30th. This can increase your charitable nature as Neptune is a boundless and compassionate influence.
Yet, Neptune’s flip side is wearing rose-coloured glasses. Therefore, it’s important that you don’t let money slip through your fingers or allow other people to seduce you or trick you via a scam.
This month’s big event during Pisces season is the Lunar Eclipse on the 14th which cuts across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac and your financial sectors. This eclipse is linked to events in September 2024.
That was the start of a new eclipse cycle highlighting your personal finances, money that’s shared with other people and money that’s invested or owed. It’s a positive time to re-evaluate money and what it means to you. It’s not easy astrology as eclipses can bring what’s hidden to light and sometimes have a theme of endings. Yet, it could help reveal where your priorities lie.
Don’t be afraid to say no where money’s concerned and look after your own assets. Don’t feel obliged to help out other people if you can’t afford it or your gesture goes unappreciated.
Yet, it is important not to let money hold you back especially if you have some bold and audacious money-making ideas. Eclipses often coincide with highs and lows. Admittedly, this Lunar Eclipse may require a cosmic stock-take, some time spent dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s when it comes to finances, but otherwise, get creative with your cash.
In addition, action planet Mars is moving forward again in Cancer and the sector of your horoscope which rules work and jobs throughout March. Perhaps, you’re starting a new job this month which is why money’s foreground.
Venus Retrograde
Knowledge is power when you have a host of planets in Aries and your communication sector. Talk planet Mercury enters Aries on the 3rd and the Sun’s move into Aries coincides with the Equinox on the 20th.
Therefore, whatever you’re involved in during March, make sure you’re informed and up-to-date with latest trends. This would be an excellent time to focus on study and learning and boost your qualifications.
If you’re studying or researching something specific, give yourself the next couple of months to do a thorough job. This is because the planet of relating Venus is in Aries but Venus turns retrograde on the 2nd and remains on go slow until mid-April.
In fact, March and April are months when it may feel hard to make quick progress. Instead, be experimental, take your time and use the Venus retrograde phase to reassess and review your current situation.
This could turn out to be a tricky time for communication. If you want to get hold of a specific individual or talk to someone in-depth, it could be a stop-start affair. Bear this in mind both regarding professional associations and in your personal life.
If you’re looking for love, there’s some lively astrology on the 11th & 23rd. It is, however, a good idea to keep your options open as this is more a time for dating, rather than making any final or major love decisions. While Venus is retrograde in Aries, you could reconnect with someone you loved and lost previously.
Mercury Retrograde
This is likely to be a lively month on the people front with the social planets Mercury and Venus moving through fire sign Aries and your communication sector.
This is an ideal time to get out in your community, make new friends, visit new places and use your networks and connections. It’s often a busy time of year when the personal planets move through Aries, whether you’re catching up with friends or you have other reasons to widen your network.
The 20th is the day of the Equinox when the Sun enters Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. This is the start of a new zodiac cycle and, in the northern hemisphere, it coincides with the onset of spring. It’s a passionate time of year when you may be itching to make a fresh start and put new energy into your life.
However, as much as you might like to get ahead, it’s important to pace yourself and not try and do everything at once. This is because talk planet Mercury turns retrograde in Aries on the 15th.
Mercury retrograde is an ideal time to go back over old ground, review what’s already been said, revise and do your research. Past connections or work could prove valuable.
It’s potentially a double whammy of communication chaos when Mercury’s retrograde in your communication sector so feel your way forward carefully and double check everything. This could be a time of misunderstandings.
Use the timing of astrology to good effect. Once both Mercury and Venus turn direct mid-April, it’s time to put your money where your mouth is.
Solar Eclipse Aries
The communication airwaves may hit over-drive this month as there’s a lot to talk about, negotiate and debate. The Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th feels heated and controversial. A Solar Eclipse can feel like a turbo-powered New Moon, a symbol of new beginnings. However, this eclipse is the last in the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began in April 2023.
It has a theme of endings and beginnings, alpha and omega. Plus, the following day, the 30th, Neptune makes its epic move into Aries. Neptune’s an imaginative, creative and spiritual influence moving into your communication sector.
This is ideal for film and fantasy. If you’re a teacher or healer, this period in the month could prove pivotal for what next. Neptune’s an inclusive planetary influence so this may be about coming together with other people in a show of unity.
Think of this as the preparation stage and keep some of your ideas close to your chest until the retrograde planets switch direction mid-April. Be wary of having your work stolen, take a step back from the news or social media if necessary. Know that this is a period in the year when it’s hard to distinguish between truth and lies.
