Aries Horoscope March 2025
Planets In Aries
March is a significant month for you for different reasons. Firstly, this is the time of the year when you’re preparing yourself ready for the Sun’s move into your star sign Aries on the 20th. This is the date of the Equinox and an important date in astrology as a new zodiac year begins.
The Equinox brings with it a sense of a fresh start, new energy and a desire to take action and fast. In the northern hemisphere, this coincides with the onset of spring and themes of sowing seeds and new ideas coming to fruition.
Plus, your ruling planet Mars is now moving forward in Cancer and your home and family sector. You may be catching up with family or be gearing up for changes at home. Events on or around the 8th could prove pivotal.
Also, you have communication planet Mercury in your star sign from the 3rd. Mercury in Aries is motor mouth, an ideal symbol for getting things done fast and making sure you’re seen and heard. Step up your profile in the first two weeks of the month.
There is no straightforward linear progression, however, this month. At times, you may feel confused about what next or be underprepared or not ready. It’s a month when you’re wise to go with the flow and lean into being uncertain or not knowing.
Pisces Season
This is because the star sign before yours is Pisces, the last sign in the zodiac and there’s a lot of planetary activity here. The Sun’s in Pisces until the 20th. This is a positive time to do follow your feelings and listen to your intuition. It’s a contemplative period in the year for you, a time when you’re wise to take stock and complete old projects before you begin anything new.
Pisces is the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Pisces season is a time for self-care and you’re wise to create some quiet time for rest and retreat. Perhaps, you’re feeling low or under the weather or you’re caring for someone close.
There are other reasons why you’re advised to pull back or be reflective about what’s happening. On the 14th, there’s a Lunar Eclipse when the Sun is in Pisces and the Moon is in Virgo. The Virgo/Pisces axis is about work and health, your lifestyle and routine. Also, volunteering and charity work, religion or a spiritual path.
It’s in these areas of life where you’re wise to be curious and notice where life’s calling you. If you’re lacking faith, this eclipse could coincide with a wake-up call. It’s a positive time to develop your spirituality and find solace in religion or ritual. You may notice that things in your life have come full circle since the last Lunar Eclipse here in September 2024.
Venus Retrograde
Another planet in Aries from the start of the month is Venus, the planet of relating. Another reason why you may be ready to leap into March. Yet there are other factors involved which indicate that however much you want to focus on yourself and your personal goals, other people have their own agenda.
Venus is your partner planet and Venus turns retrograde in your star sign Aries on the 2nd. Venus retrograde can coincide with a period when love slows down, someone goes quiet on you or you find yourself drawn back to people from your past.
Traditionally, this isn’t the best time to marry, make a major investment or have cosmetic surgery. This is because Venus rules money and beauty as well as love.
Venus in Aries is passionate, however, so if you are in an on-off relationship or you’re lusting after someone new, this is potentially an exciting yet turbulent time. Venus is dominant on the 11th and 23rd when she teams up first with Mercury, then with the Sun.
Venus in Aries is warrior woman, fierce and strong. You may choose to be single or be leading an independent lifestyle. Yet, Venus returns to Pisces on the 27th, a softer and gentler influence.
At times this month, you may be lead by your emotions and there is a theme of release, healing or letting go. It’s not a month to rush and you may be learning patience, sometimes the hard way.
Mercury Retrograde
The theme of endings and new beginnings continues throughout March and into April. You may realise that you can’t do everything now and you have to prioritise what’s important. What do you need to let go of before you can start something new?
Talk planet Mercury is the second planet to turn retrograde and switches direction in your star sign Aries on the 15th, the day after the Lunar Eclipse. This is an ideal time to stop and reassess where you’re heading and why, especially if things aren’t working out. Take stock and get ready to start anew mid-April.
Solar Eclipse Aries
Focus on your personal goals, be self-analytical, stop and think. Events on or around the powerhouse Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th could lead you in a new personal direction, one that’s potentially healing in the long run. This is the day before Neptune’s epic move into Aries on the 30th. Neptune is a compassionate, creative and spiritual influence.
What’s intriguing about this month’s astrology is that both Venus and Mercury turn retrograde at 9/10° Aries and this is where the Solar Eclipse falls on the 29th.
A Solar Eclipse is traditionally a new beginning. Yet, this is the last eclipse in the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began in April 2023. A significant relationship or partnership could be coming to an end. Or perhaps, it has to be reinvented if you’re to move forward together.
