Pisces Horoscope October 2026
Libra Season
Libra season runs up until the 23rd, when the Sun in Libra lights up one of the financial sectors of your horoscope. Plus, the planet of love and relating Venus will return to Libra on the 25th.
Libra’s the diplomat and mediator. Therefore, when it comes to money and your relationships, use your people skills to charm and persuade others.
The New Moon takes place in Libra and your joint finance sector on the 10th, a symbol of new beginnings. This would be a good date to apply for a mortgage or loan or deal with a financial adviser. However, note that it may take some time for anything new to come to fruition.
Yet, there’s a flow of energy during the New Moon phase around money, joint finances and shared resources. Listen out for new ideas and be open to gifts or money coming in. Engage your head as well as your heart.
One of the best dates this month is the 15th when the Sun in Libra aligns with your traditional ruling planet Jupiter in Leo and your work sector. This could be a positive date for work and money.
Scorpio Season
Scorpio season begins officially on the 23rd when the Sun enters your fellow water sign Scorpio. However, Scorpio’s intensity is evident throughout October for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, communication planet Mercury is in Scorpio all month. This is great for research work and diving deep into esoteric or hidden wisdom. Secondly, the planet of relating Venus is in Scorpio until the 25th.
Scorpio is the sector of your horoscope which is expansive and all-encompassing. When planets are here, it encourages you to be interested in the world and improve your knowledge.
This feels significant so consider what you’re getting involved in. Whatever it is, it’s likely to expand your life and give you a deeper sense of meaning and purpose.
Water signs, like your star sign Pisces, are emotional and empathic, compassionate and intuitive. You could be going on a pilgrimage or spiritual journey. Or you sign up to a higher education course or step into a role as teacher. You could get published or be in the media.
And, it suggests that love and foreign connections are linked. Perhaps, you’re heading off on a romantic holiday or you meet someone foreign and love quickly develops.
Mars’ Power
There is another important planetary factor this month, which involves action planet Mars. Mars is in fire sign Leo and your work and health sector throughout October and Mars is a dynamic and motivating force.
Yet, Mars rules anger and there are some powerful Mars’ clashes this month. Most importantly, Mars in Leo is opposed by power planet Pluto in Aquarius and the most hidden sector of your horoscope on the 3rd and this combination feels volatile.
Aquarius rules secret enemies in your horoscope so be wary who you’re up against. You could be caught in an impossible situation, one that’s corrupt or unjust. It might be the right time to cut your losses and turn your back on an argument or political situation that’s causing you stress or negatively impacting your health.
Plus, all the planets in Scorpio are pulled into this planetary clash as they square Mars and Pluto throughout October. It’s Mercury’s turn on the 2nd & 30th, Venus activates the clash on the 10th & 20th, while the Sun is square Pluto on the 26th, the day of the Full Moon in Taurus.
You could find that your plans have to change radically this month. Or you’re fighting for what you believe in.
If you’re incensed about a situation at work or in the world, this could be the month when you decide to do something about it. However, it is important that you’re aware of the consequences as Pluto’s themes are final and dramatic.
Venus & Mercury Retrograde
Also this month, two planets turn retrograde in Scorpio, another indication that your future plans could stall or go on hold. Firstly, the planet of love and relating Venus turns retrograde on the 3rd.
Secondly, talk planet Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th. It’s a double whammy retrograde phase and both planets will turn direct close to one another on November 13 & 14.
Perhaps, you’re called to chase after someone you love who lives abroad. Or you realise that you have different beliefs and values to a significant person in your life. Retrograde planets often require a shift in perspective and can coincide with a change in your values or your outlook on life.
As Mercury is the planet linked to transport and communication, it’s doubly important to check travel documents and allow yourself extra time to get from A to B.
This is traditionally a time of delays, when you’re wise to reflect upon and review your situation rather than dash ahead. Bear this in mind, especially if you want to book a holiday or apply for a study course. That’s not to say do nothing while Mercury’s on go slow but be flexible.
Sometimes, Mercury retrograde brings frustration. Or it reminds you that patience is a virtue. It would, however, be the perfect Mercury retrograde phase to take time out, go on retreat and look at your life from a fresh perspective.
Alternatively, you might be saving up and planning your next big adventure for next year. Or this time in the year could coincide with a major development in a study course or educational project.
