Aquarius Horoscope August 2026
Leo Season – Solar Eclipse
Love may be foreground this month as a host of planets are in Leo and your relationship sector. The Sun is in Leo until the 23rd and talk planet Mercury joins the Sun in Leo from the 9th to the 25th. In addition, big planet Jupiter has now taken up residence in Leo where it will remain until the middle of next year. This puts the focus on all forms of partnership in your life.
The stand-out date is the 12th when there’s a powerful Solar Eclipse in Leo. This is potentially romantic but could be dramatic too. Notice who comes into your life on or around the 12th. And use the eclipse energy to move things forward in your one-to-one relationships.
This eclipse is part of a new eclipse cycle which began in February 2026 and cuts across the star signs Leo and Aquarius. Leo is your partnership sector and Aquarius is your personal sector.
This eclipse cycle will continue until January 2028 and it’s often a time when significant change kicks in. Plus, nearly all of the eclipses in this cycle are Solar Eclipses, i.e. turbo-powered New Moons. This is often a time of accelerated growth when things happen quickly and people coming into your life turn things around and fast.
Also, three days after this month’s Solar Eclipse, there’s a glorious Mercury/Jupiter conjunction in Leo on the 15th. Mercury rules words and Jupiter’s celebratory. Therefore, it would be an excellent date for a wedding or proposal. Alternatively, you might meet a teacher or coach who’s going to play a significant role in your life moving forward.
Jupiter’s in action again at the end of the month when there’s a powerful trine aspect to your ruling planet Saturn in Aries. This takes place on the 31st and links your relationship sector with your communication sector. It’s a positive symbol for commitment or stepping into a new leadership role, perhaps within society or your community.
Libra Season
Also this month, the planet of relating Venus moves into your fellow air sign Libra and your travel and study sector. This takes place on the 6th and Venus will remain in Libra until September 10. Therefore, notice who’s calling your attention, perhaps someone from abroad or a higher education establishment.
Once Venus is in Libra, you may want to travel or start a new study course, perhaps with a loved one by your side. It’s a positive symbol for a holiday romance too.
Virgo Season – Lunar Eclipse
The Sun enters earth sign Virgo on the 23rd. Plus, talk planet Mercury joins the Sun here on the 25th. This turns the cosmic spotlight towards your joint finance sector. This is about money matters and getting things sorted.
Virgo rules one of the hidden sectors of your horoscope. On the one hand, it’s linked to money, especially joint finances. Yet, it’s also about the metaphysical realm, all things hidden and taboo.
The Sun and Mercury come together in a magical cazimi conjunction in Virgo on the 27th. Listen out for synchronicities or arrange a meeting or negotiation. You may be aware that a new chapter is opening up this month and it’s wise to pay attention to the basics, the everyday matters that keep you well in mind, body and soul.
Also, this is an eclipse month and eclipses often bring what’s hidden to light as they are linked to dramatic events and the unexpected. The day after the Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction, there’s a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on the 28th.
This eclipse is part of the Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle which began in September 2024 and completes in February 2027. This highlights finances in your horoscope. Therefore, it’s wise to proceed with caution towards the end of the month. Eclipses bring highs and lows so your financial situation could be in flux or is likely to change before the month is out.
There may be money coming your way via an inheritance, bonus or gift but you need to navigate your way carefully during the eclipse. There may be a sense of karma around finances or you’re aware that your values are starting to shift and change.
It’s not always easy astrology when eclipses kick in but it can help reveal where your priorities lie. Or reveal your options moving forward. Perhaps, you’re having to consider what’s not working out financially and where you’d be better off cutting your losses.
Virgo doesn’t only rule money in your horoscope but taboo matters as well. This could flag up an issue around power, sex, death or rebirth. Go deeper and look beneath the surface to see what’s really going on.
In addition, the Sun, Mercury and the Moon are all square to wild-card Uranus during the day of the eclipse, the 28th. The planet of change is currently in Gemini and the sector of your horoscope which rules children, love affairs, play and entertainment.
Therefore, these key areas may be linked to what’s happening financially. This isn’t a great combination for being impulsive so think things through carefully and wait for the eclipse energy to lift before making any key decision.
Mars’ Power
Talk planet Mercury leaves water sign Cancer on the 9th where it’s been for an unusually long time since early June. However, two days later, on the 11th, action planet Mars picks up the Cancer baton where it will remain until the end of September.
This is your cue to turn your attention to work rather than play, to your everyday routine, your fitness and health. It’s wise to pay attention to the basics, the everyday matters that keep you well in mind, body and soul.
Plus, events this month may be linked to what started in June 2025. This is when expansive Jupiter first moved into Cancer and your work and health sector. Since then, there’s always been at least one planet in this sector of your horoscope. Therefore, Mars could be coming along to help you push things forward and bring more drive and speed to help you get things moving.
Eclipse Do’s & Don’ts
It’s a double whammy of eclipses this month. Here are some eclipse tips:
- Try not to fear an eclipse – they are a reminder that you’re not in control.
- Ideally, don’t choose an eclipse date to launch a project or start something new.
- Wait a few days after an eclipse before taking action. Eclipse symbolism is shadowy and hidden.
- Once the eclipse shadow lifts, then you can aim to take advantage of any changes that have occurred.
- Know that eclipses are closely linked to the karmic nodes and wheel of destiny – they often act as a signpost or turning point.
