Venus Power
Your ruling planet Venus plays a key part in this month’s astrology. Up until the 10th, Venus is balanced and a calm presence in air sign Libra. Libra is the star sign which rules your work and health, and is linked to your everyday life.
Perhaps, you’re aware of wanting a sense of calm and balance in your daily life. Venus in Libra favours positive relations, teamwork and enjoying what you do.
Yet, on the 10th, Venus changes star sign and dives deep into water sign Scorpio. This is a very different Venus – intense, charismatic, the femme fatale of the zodiac. Plus, Scorpio is your relationship sector and Venus is going to remain in Scorpio on and off until the start of 2027.
This is important and suggests that relationships are going to be foreground or dominant in your life moving forward. This could be personally or professionally. One way or another, partnership is going to be a significant theme.
Scorpio is a secretive star sign so you may be keeping a relationship private. Or perhaps, there’s a theme of confidentiality running through your relationships. This is likely to be intensified from next month onwards as Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio on October 3.
For now, you’re wise to consider your relationships thoughtfully. Find your soulmate, go in deep, have those important heart-to-hearts. Avoid the 15th, but otherwise make your one-to-one relationships high priority.
Virgo Season – New Moon
The Sun is in your fellow earth sign Virgo up until the 23rd. This is good news for you as you are one of the sensual, fertile, creative earth signs. This means that you’re likely to feel in your element. Virgo rules one of the best sectors of your horoscope which is about good times and luck. This planetary vibe feels positive for you.Â
It could be a glorious month to fall in love, make a baby, be proud of your offspring, enjoy yourself, line up top entertainment, start a new hobby or a creative project. Think about what you can ‘give birth to’ or bring into the world. Now’s the time when your creative juices could be flowing freely.
If you’re a typical Taurus, you’re usually happiest when life feels stable and secure, you can move at a leisurely pace and you have time to smell the roses. It’s an ideal month to do more of what you love and put pleasure first.
Use the New Moon in Virgo on the 11th to initiate new beginnings and start something new that gives you pride.
During the New Moon, Mars in Cancer joins the cosmic party in your communication and community sector. This favours empathy and emotional connections. Lean on your neighbours, offer support to a sibling or relative and create a strong supportive community around you.
Libra Season – Full Moon
The Sun’s move into Libra on the 23rd heralds the Equinox and the start of a new season. For you, this might include a new job or project. Or perhaps, a new initiative that allows you to be true to who you are and express the real you.
Libra is the star sign representing balance and weighing things up. The key to the Libra scales is to remember that it’s a constant balancing act rather than finding a permanent state of equilibrium.
Libra rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and health. It’s about the basics of life and doing whatever’s needed to feel well in your mind, body and soul. If the work/life balance is out in any way, start to recalibrate those scales and you don’t have to wait for the 23rd.
As mentioned previously, your ruling planet Venus is in Libra until the 10th when she hands over the Libra baton to communication planet Mercury. Diplomacy, mediation and negotiation are key components when Libra’s strong.
Finally, this month’s Full Moon falls in the first sign of the zodiac Aries on the 26th. The Sun opposes the Moon during the Full Moon phase which can require a balancing act.
The Sun in Libra highlights your work and health, your lifestyle and routine. Whereas, the Moon in Aries is in the most hidden sector of your horoscope and is about retreat and solitude, inner work and sacrifice.
You may be volunteering on or around the Full Moon phase. Or perhaps, you’re serving or caring for other people in some way or other. Alternatively, you may be the one who needs a little extra care and attention. Either way, don’t go it alone but reach out to other people and encourage healthy relationships in your life.
The Big Pattern
During both the New Moon on the 11th and the Full Moon on the 26th, the Big Pattern which was dominant in the second half of July is reactivated. This is when communication planet Mercury and the Sun in Libra reconnect with Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius, the three modern planets. The key dates are September 12-14 and September 26-28.
Importantly, this creates a Grand Air Trine which, for you, lights up the money and work sectors of your horoscope. Air signs favour networks, connections and using technology to support and help you.
Whatever you began in July, continue moving forward with these areas of your life. Get other people involved as it’s not the time to go it alone. This theme is emphasised throughout the month.
