As September begins, action planet Mars is in water sign Cancer and your personal money sector. This is where Mars will remain throughout the month. However, Mars isn’t rushing anywhere and, on the 1st, Mars is square to Saturn, the planet of obstacles and limitation. Perhaps, things aren’t moving as swiftly as you would like around money matters.
Also this month, the planet of love and money Venus enters Scorpio and one of your work sectors on the 10th. This is where Venus is going to remain for an unusually long time, on and off, until the start of 2027.
This is because Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio on October 3. Therefore, it’s a good month to deliberate over work and money matters. And, to get things in order as best you can. These areas may be closely linked to relationships in your life and it’s a good time to be working as a team.

Virgo Season – New Moon
Also this month, the Sun is in earth sign Virgo until the 23rd. Virgo rules your home and family, your past and where you come from. It’s the star sign at the base of your horoscope, what roots you and keeps you grounded.
Therefore, it’s wise to ask yourself why this area of your life is under the cosmic spotlight. You might be asking other people for support at home or you may be helping out more than usual with family. Alternatively, perhaps you have plans for your home or the place you live or work.
This would be a good time to make lists to ensure nothing gets dropped or forgotten. Virgo is the star sign which represents order and structure, analysis and strategy. You can get a lot done, but it’s potentially busy too.
Use the New Moon in Virgo on the 11th to set your intentions around your home and family. Is more security required? Is there anything you can do to help your loved ones and yourself find a safe base?
Libra Season – Full Moon
September is the month of the Equinox, when the Sun moves into the star sign Libra on the 23rd. Libra is an air sign, the same element as your star sign Gemini. When planets in Libra, you need fun people in your life and activities or work that stimulate your lively mind.
Libra rules a positive sector of your horoscope. It’s about play rather than work and the things you enjoy doing and the people you enjoy being with. This includes lovers as well as children, creative projects, entertainment and social activities. There’s a lucky vibe to planets in Libra so maximise your potential and believe that anything’s possible.
Plus, you don’t have to wait until Libra season begins to start enjoying yourself. The planet of love Venus graces the star sign Libra up until the 10th, perfect for romance and play. Then, your ruling planet Mercury picks up the Libra baton until the end of the month. Be more social and do more of what you love.
Finally this month, there’s a powerful Full Moon cutting across the Libra/Aries axis of the zodiac on the 26th. This could be a celebratory Full Moon for you as Aries and Libra rule the social sectors of your horoscope.

The Big Pattern
Also this month, the Big Pattern which dominated July’s astrology is being reactivated. The key dates are September 12-14 and September 26-28. This is close to the New Moon on the 11th and the Full Moon on the 26th.
The Big Pattern involves all three modern planets, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius. They create a Minor Grand Trine aspect in the heavens and, on the dates mentioned, they are in planetary aspect with Mercury and the Sun in Libra.
This is creating a dynamic Kite aspect pattern which is encouraging you to focus on the things and people in your life which bring you pleasure. It’s about putting yourself first and it may be about working less and enjoying yourself more.
Consider what you began in July which is bringing you more this month. Also, if you want to initiate or start anything new. Mondays are especially lucky this month. Ring the changes, do things differently and aim to be more proactive in your personal life.
