Libra Season
Libra rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and health. It’s the star sign of balance and harmony, social skills and people pleasing. The Sun is in Libra up until the 23rd.
Therefore, you’re likely to be happiest this month if work is social and you’re going to be more effective working in a team. This is an ideal time to strategise and analyse and work things out with other people.
The 10th is the day of the New Moon in Libra, which may prove fruitful if you’re applying for a job or you want to boost your health or lifestyle.
Aim for a happy work/life balance and ensure self care is high up your list of priorities. This is even more important as some areas of your life could feel intense.
Scorpio Season
Relationships and partnership are under the cosmic spotlight throughout October, thanks to the emphasis of planets in Scorpio, your opposite star sign.
Scorpio season starts officially on the 23rd when the Sun moves into Scorpio. However, talk planet Mercury is in your opposite star sign throughout October and your ruling planet Venus is in Scorpio up until the 25th. This is where there’s strong emphasis in your life.
Scorpio rules all forms of partnership in your horoscope, both personal and professional. Perhaps, you encounter a person of influence this month or power is a key theme in your one-to-ones.
Other people can be strong or dominant when planets are in Scorpio. This can be good news if you’re in a relationship and you want your partner to step up. However, be wary of being overshadowed by another person and consider where there’s a competitive edge in your life, either personally or professionally.
The Full Moon in your star sign Taurus on the 26th could be a pivotal date. The Moon in Taurus is a safe harbour so find yours, especially if you’re having to deal with dramas, either in your personal life or your professional life.
Mars’ Clash
There’s another reason why you may up against opposition this month. This is because action planet Mars is in Leo and your home and family sector and opposes power planet Pluto in Aquarius and your career and future sector on the 3rd.
An opposition between Mars and Pluto is volatile and could coincide with an ending or loss. This is forceful planetary energy so be careful that you don’t become the victim of other people’s anger or power. Keep yourself safe and step back if you encounter an angry individual.
Consider where your priorities lie and dig deep to decide what stays and what goes. You may feel responsible for a parent, a business or a family member. Yet, try not to get involved in an ongoing argument or power game.
Mercury and Venus in Scorpio are pulled into this planetary conflict on the 2nd, 10th, 20th & 30th. Perhaps, you’re standing up for your other half or a business partner. Yet, be careful whatever you get involved in this month and know that some people will be out to win at any cost.
Venus & Mercury Retrograde
In addition, both your ruling planet Venus and talk planet Mercury turn retrograde in Scorpio. Venus is on go slow from the 3rd to November 14 and Mercury is on go slow from the 24th to November 13. Note that they both turn direct close to one another.
Traditionally, when Venus is retrograde, it’s not the best time to marry or start a new relationship. What Venus retrograde is good for is playing a waiting game so you can reassess or review your personal situation.
Sometimes, a partner goes quiet on you when planets are on go slow in your relationship sector. Or you have to keep things private. You may not be sure about another person’s intentions when there’s secrecy involved. And, don’t be surprised, if someone from your past comes back into your life.
Retreat is another option if you sense it would help your situation. Or you may team up with other people and work on secret plans or projects behind the scenes.
There’s a clandestine feel to this month’s astrology. If you’re unsure of another person’s motives or intentions, keep your cards close to your chest until you know more.
At its best, October will be a month when other people fire up your life and enthusiastic individuals help you get things done. However, don’t use up all your energy cateingr for other people’s needs. Any misunderstandings may only be sorted out mid-November. For now, protect yourself and your own interests and move slowly through life.
