Whatever is going on for you personally could become fully absorbing over the next few months. This might be linked to love or money or a creative or passion project. One thing’s for sure, you have Venus’ power on your side from mid-month onwards.
Virgo Season – New Moon
The Sun is moving through earth sign Virgo up until the 23rd. Virgo rules your friends and group activities, your social, political, environmental and humanitarian alliances. It’s about your community and how you fit into the world.
When earth signs dominate, this is about people and connections. If you’re a typical Scorpio, you tend to favour your own company, but September’s astrology is calling you out into the world.
The Sun in Virgo is urging you to reach out, connect and recharge your friendships. It’s a top month to get involved with a new group and find a way to help others and make a difference to people’s lives. The New Moon in Virgo on the 11th would be the ideal date to join a club, society or make a a new friendship.
You may be writing more than usual too, as Virgo is the star sign linked to writing, ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication. Perhaps, you’re seeking a way to connect online or share your thoughts in a different context.
It could be an exceptionally busy month when you’re juggling numerous connections, networks, ideas and projects. If you’re a typical Scorpio, you like to go in deep, analyse your motives and other people’s motives on a deep level.
Some of the connections you make this month could be powerful, for you or them. This might be a relationship with a coach, therapist or influencer. Or perhaps, you’re the one who’s stepping up your game.
Libra Season – Full Moon
Yet, throughout September, you’re wise to balance your commitments carefully. Ideally, have one foot out in the world and the other foot firmly placed wherever you find quiet or solitude.
Libra season begins officially on the 23rd, the day of the Equinox when the Sun enters star sign Libra. This month, however, the planet of relating Venus is in Libra and the most hidden sector of your horoscope until the 10th. Then, she hands the Libra baton to communication planet Mercury.Â
This means that the focus is on your inner life, when you may need more time and space to be quiet and reflective. Planets in Libra are peace-loving and favour making agreements over conflict.Â
Work actively on your inner state, whether you meditate, do yoga or follow a spiritual teaching. Learn how to keep your inner voice calm and use this period for self-reflection.
Sometimes, when there are key planets in Libra, you need to be vigilant about self-care. Or perhaps, you’re caring for someone close. Libra is, after all, the sign of relating.
Even though you may choose to spend more time on your own in September, ensure there are people in your life who can support and advise you. Talk to a friend, a counsellor or coach. Or, if you’re a believer, talk to God.
Finally, on the 26th, the Full Moon takes place cutting across the Aries/Libra axis of the horoscope. You may have a major revelation during the Full Moon phase. You may realise what works for you on a daily level and where you need to change things around. Aries is linked to both your work and your health.
If you work in a charity or volunteer, this is about being of service to others. This may include prayer and ritual, tapping into a deeper stream of wisdom that can help heal and soothe yourself and others.
The Big Pattern
This month, the Big Pattern is being reactivated which dominated July’s astrology. The Big Pattern involves the three modern planets, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries and your co-ruler Pluto in Aquarius. The three planets are forming a Minor Grand Trine aspect in the heavens.
This month, the Big Pattern is reawakened when Mercury in Libra and the Sun in Libra align with the modern planets. The key dates are September 12-14 and September 26-28. Interestingly, these dates align with the New Moon on the 11th and the Full Moon on the 26th.
Consider what was beginning in your life in the second half of July. This may be linked to your home and family, your past, an inheritance or legacy. There’s a sense of karma involved as the wheel of Fortune turns.
