Then, on the 10th Venus moves into water sign Scorpio which is a different placing for Venus, Goddess of love. Venus in Libra wants equal relationships, sharing and balance. While Venus in Scorpio is intense, deep and charismatic. This is a sexy femme-fatale Venus.
It’s important to note these two star signs because Venus will turn retrograde next month on October 3. And she’s going to move backwards through Scorpio and return to Libra. Libra is where she turns direct and then she re-enters Scorpio.
This is important for you regarding love and money. There may be a theme of secrecy or confidentiality running through these key areas of your life. Certainly, one way or another, relationships are foreground.
As Scorpio is your personal money sector, ensure that you get your finances sorted this month. Once Venus is retrograde from October 3 to November 14, cosmic advice is not to make major investments or big money moves.
Virgo Season – New Moon
As September begins, the Sun is in earth sign Virgo where it remains until the 23rd. Traditionally, when the Sun is in this sector of your horoscope, it’s time for rest and retreat. Inner work is recommended and you may be caring for yourself or other people more than usual.
Or you’re preparing for a new stage in life and this is causing you some worry or concern, because you’re heading into the unknown. If you find you’re overly anxious, it’s wise to find a way to stop and slow down, to quieten your mind.
Nature is one way of restoring calm and balance, ensuring you take regular exercise or you head out into the countryside. You may crave more time alone than usual.
Alternatively, you might be studying this month or be busy with research or planning. Virgo is one of the studious signs of the zodiac ruled by Mercury, the planet of the mind. You could be squirrelled away getting ready for a busy project or being out in the public eye.
Plus, on the 11th, there’s a New Moon in Virgo, a symbol of new beginnings. This New Moon aligns in a positive planetary connection with action planet Mars in Cancer and your career and vocation sector.
Something you begin on or around this date could lead to a new line of work or a new door opening. Trust your intuition, write things down or apply for a new job.
Libra Season – Full Moon
The Sun’s move into Libra on the 23rd is always a step in the right direction for you. This coincides with the Equinox and a change of a season. The Sun represents vitality and energy. It can feel like a confidence boost when you have the Sun lighting up your star sign.
When you have planets in your star sign, the focus is on you. It’s an ideal time in the year to consider your personal goals and aims, where you’re heading and why. This is the mid-point through the zodiac year, six months since the Sun entered Aries on March 20.
Therefore, consider how far you’ve come, what you’ve achieved and what you’re ready to let go of. Think of September as a key month to balance those Libra scales, so you feel more in harmony and in flow with life rather than constantly battling or taking on too much.

In the second half of July 2026, the Big Pattern was active. This involved the three modern planets, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius creating a Minor Grand Trine aspect in the heavens. The three planets are still active and, this month, planets in Libra reawaken the Big Pattern themes.
Communication planet Mercury is first from September 12-14 followed by the Sun from September 26-28. Interestingly, both events coincide with the New Moon on the 11th and the Full Moon on the 26th.
This is significant for you as both planets are in Libra when they are reactivating the Big Pattern. Therefore, this is about pleasure, expanding your horizons and living life to the full. It may be about romance and love as well.
Certainly, this is a month to lean into your dreams, your personal goals and where you find pleasure. Uranus in Gemini is active on the 10th when it switches direction in Gemini and your travel and study sector. Believe anything is possible and say yes to life.
