Triple Conjunction
The first week of March is full-on planetary energy. Your ruling planets are Mars and Pluto and on the 3rd they make a powerful conjunction. This falls in Capricorn and your communication sector. You may have to speak your mind, stand your ground or make a difficult decision on or around this date.
The planet of relating Venus is also involved on the same day. This could indicate bad news or hearing something you didn’t want to hear. It’s not an easy combination.
However, a symbol doesn’t just mean one thing. Perhaps, you step in to issue an ultimatum or be alongside someone in your life who’s going through a tough time. This may be a sibling, a neighbour or someone in your local community. Or, perhaps someone you love dearly. This could be a time when you have to dig deep and prove your resilience, your determination.
And, it could work out extraordinarily for you and you step into a position of power or take on a teaching or leadership role. One way or another, it’s big astrology.
Pisces Season
Plus, you may be able to create something magical in your life as March gets underway thanks to what’s happening in the star sign Pisces. Pisces is a fellow water sign, emotional and sensitive. You often feel in flow when planets are in Pisces and it’s a good time to trust your feelings and your natural instincts.
Pisces rules all the good things in life in your horoscope, such as luck and entertainment, romance and love affairs, children and pregnancy, creative projects and hobbies. This is a gorgeous time for reaching out to other people, making connections and trusting your luck.
The Sun’s in Pisces until the 20th and is joined by talk planet Mercury from the 10th to the 27th. There’s a New Moon in Pisces on the 2nd, a symbol of new beginnings. This could be a significant date for your relationship with a child or lover.
Plus, this is no ordinary New Moon as it pulls in the big planets Jupiter and Neptune. There’s a lucky Sun-Jupiter connection on the 5th and a sentimental Sun-Neptune alliance on the 13th.
This is giving you a preview of next month’s epic Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces on April 12th. These two planets are linked to prayer and hope, universal love and compassion.
With so much emphasis on the star sign Pisces, this is gorgeous for wishing on a star, dreaming and allowing yourself to be immersed in a fantasy wonderland. As a water sign, you know how to engage deeply with ideas and activities that feed your soul. Pisces is the most creative and artistic star sign of the zodiac, so lose yourself in inspiration and beauty.
This feels important to do so as everyday life isn’t easy right now. You need something more to sustain you on a deeper level, an activity, dream or personal quest that allows your spirit to soar. It could be love that takes you to a place of transcendence or bliss as Pisces is your romance sector.
The other key date is the 18th when there’s a Full Moon cutting across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac. This is both emotional and sociable and confirms the fact that happiness can be found amongst other people. Be with people you care about, hang out with your nearest and dearest and use this month’s gorgeous astrology to open your heart.
Equinox – A Fresh Start
March isn’t only about an escape from routine. It’s important that you balance both aspects of life, the everyday and the fantasy. This kicks in after the 20th, the day of the Equinox.
This is when the Sun moves into Aries, a significant date in the astrological calendar because Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and this date coincides with the start of a new zodiac cycle.
In the northern hemisphere, the Equinox heralds the onset of spring, with its theme of new beginnings, the chance for a fresh start, to sow new seeds that can flourish and grow in the future.
Work and health are where the action’s at during this period and talk planet Mercury joins the Sun in Aries on the 27th. This spells good news for teamwork, getting on the right side of colleagues and the enjoyment of being alongside other people in a chosen goal.
Share ideas and brainstorm. Don’t go it alone. This will benefit you not only when it comes to your work and routine, but your lifestyle and health too. It’s here where collaborative ventures can pay off.
Home & Family
It’s also important to note what happens to your ruling planet Mars after it encounters Pluto and leaves Capricorn on the 6th. Mars is then in Aquarius and your home and family sector where it remains until April 15th.
There’s a sense of collaboration or partnership here as Venus and Mars unite on the 6th. You may be moving in with someone or hear news of a wedding or engagement. Mars in Aquarius is an ideal time to focus on home-related activities, family and community.
There is a tricky period from the 19th to the 22nd which could see a clash of wills. Your partner may fall out with your family. Or, perhaps there’s an issue with the in-laws. Try not to over-react and aim to be more detached if you can.
It’s an emotional month on the whole but it’s important to remain logical and analytical in certain areas. Home and work are where you’re wise to draw up a clear strategy.
My brother, Steve, is a Scorpio sun and he passed on March 20, 2022. He was very ill but hid a lot of his pain and illness from others so when he passed I was surprised. He had been on hospice for about 2 years, but he seemed to suddenly fail in late February and then continued to do so in March. I miss him. He wanted so badly to come home to die. He made it. I miss him. I’m wondering if he had come sooner (home) would it have made a difference??
Mary
Sending my condolences, Mary. It sounds tough. Take good care of yourself. Sometimes, it’s tempting to question or have regrets after someone you love passes but more helpful can be to focus on the present day, your grief, memories & love.
