Capricorn rules your friends and group activities and it’s about your role within society, politics or community issues. This shines a cosmic spotlight on your place in the world and the people you care about.
You might be unusually busy with your social life or be trying to take care of lots of different people in your life. Being a Sun Pisces, you are one of life’s givers. However, be wary that you don’t over-give and have nothing left for yourself.
The inner planets are working together this month and the 6th to the 9th is a peak period. This is when the lovers of the heavens, Venus and Mars, are alongside the Sun in Capricorn in a gorgeous triple conjunction. This combination links love and friendship whether you’re falling for your best friend or you and your partner recognise the bond of your friendship.
This indicates that there’s strength in partnership, connections and collaborations. Get the right friends and acquaintances on your side and you feel more secure. It’s a good time to build for the future alongside people you trust and care about.
Plus, this month’s Full Moon and New Moon continue the social and collaborative theme. During the Full Moon on the 3rd, the Sun is in Capricorn while the Moon is in Cancer. This is the people axis of your horoscope and an ideal date for a party or social get-together. Perhaps, you’re hanging out with your kids or enjoying some top entertainment. Cancer rules romance too, so the love theme is emphasised.
The New Moon on the 18th pulls in talk planet Mercury and action planet Mars in Capricorn. This combination feels dynamic and go-getting. It’s an ideal date to walk your talk, do what you say and build powerful alliances. Be around people who know how to get noticed in the world and learn from them.
Aquarius Themes
Later on in January, you are moving into a phase that may connect you more with your spiritual path. This is because the inner planets move into air sign Aquarius around the same time. The planet of love and relating Venus is first on the 17th, followed by talk planet Mercury and the Sun on the 20th and passion planet Mars on the 23rd.
Aquarius rules the most hidden sector of your horoscope and turns your attention inward. It can be a time of preparation, when you want to restore your hope and faith. You might be learning to meditate, be on retreat or be listening to your inner voice.
Aquarius is a social star sign linked to the collective, so this could mean coming together with other people for a good cause. You might be meditating for peace or become involved in spiritual or philosophical teachings. Follow wherever your heart leads you and this could be a time when synchronicity or coincidences abound.
Plus, this is the ideal time to decide who or what stays and what goes in your life, what you let go and where you shake free. This is because the planet Pluto is in Aquarius, the planet of endings and transformation. And, as soon as the inner planets move into Aquarius, they team up with Pluto. Pluto aligns with Venus on the 20th, talk planet Mercury on the 22nd, the Sun on the 23rd and action planet on the 27th.
Therefore, before you leap fully into 2026, it’s wise to take stock and look at where you’re ready to close the door on the past. Complete any unresolved business fully before you step into what’s new. Do the inner work and know that deep change and real transformation starts from the inside out.

Saturn-Uranus
There’s another strong planetary influence this month as one of the major planetary aspects of 2025 completes on the 20th. This involves the planet of authority and responsibility Saturn in your star sign Pisces teaming up with the planet of change and innovation Uranus in Taurus and your communication and community sector.
These two planets have met twice before on April 4 & August 12, 2025. Therefore, events this month may be linked to what was happening back then. What’s coming full circle or reaching completion this month?

Neptune Enters Aries
Finally this month, your co-ruler Neptune is on the move and this is a significant shift for you. Since 2011, Neptune has been in your star sign Pisces and Neptune’s the planet of beauty and inspiration, dreams and the imagination. However, the flip side is that you can lose your way as Neptune rules addictions and brain fog.
On the 26th, Neptunes moves into fire sign Aries and your personal money sector where it’s going to remain until 2038/2039. Neptune’s already been in Aries from March 30 to October 22, 2025. Therefore, it’s worth considering what seeds were being sown back then or what was emerging. Aries rules your assets and possessions, your personal money, your values and self-worth.
This is an ideal time to lean into your dreams about what you want for yourself when it comes to money and wealth. Perhaps, you would love to be a philanthropist or use your money to better serve and help other people. Whatever your personal wish around money matters, there may be an opportunity to turn your dreams into reality next month when Saturn joins Neptune in Aries on February 14.
