Libra (23 September – 23 October)
Your ruling planet, Venus, the planet of love, art and beauty, is in your star sign, Libra, throughout November and turns direct on the 16th.
When Venus is in your star sign, looking good and feeling good go hand in hand. You care about your image and other people are attracted to you so make the most of your popularity. Whether you’re looking for love or you want to schmooze an influential business contact, you’ve got it all going on with Venus backing you.

Venus connects with the planet of sexuality Mars on the 9th, when the lovers of the heavens unite. This is gorgeous if you want to find love, make love or do more of what you love. Your choice, but make the most of your planet Venus in your star sign.
Plus, you have live-wire Uranus back in Aries and your relationship sector after the 6th. This is unpredictable but exciting and Uranus remains here until March 6th 2019. Relationships are unlikely to remain stable or boring while Uranus lights the way.
Mars is moving on this month after almost six months in Aquarius. This may have been an easier journey for you than some of the other star signs. Aquarius is a fellow air sign and rules the fun sector of your horoscope, including your creativity, children, entertainment and love affairs.
As Mars spent a significant part of this time retrograde, however, it may have been a stop-start experience for you in one of these areas, especially in July and August when Mars was on go slow.
Mars is now moving swiftly to complete its journey through Aquarius, which means a chance to finish what you started.
Mars represents action and energy and loves to go directly from A to B. Wherever in your life you want to make progress, this is a green light that urges you to go for it. Same goes if there’s something you’re ready to let go of and move away from. One way or another, Mars is speeding you towards a conclusion.
On the 15th, Mars moves into the star sign, Pisces, where it remains until January 1st. This means it’s time to turn your attention towards your work and routine, your lifestyle and your health. If you’ve been working too hard and you feel worn out, what can you do to shift your energy or change your situation?
Same goes if work’s been lacking. Mars ups the ante and adds drive and determination to your work or your job hunt. If your health’s been low, book in for a health check, add extra vitamins to your diet, take your health and fitness seriously and join a boot camp. Whatever fits for you, Mars is urging you to take action and sort things out.
The big news this month is the planet of luck and opportunity, Jupiter, on the move. Jupiter takes approximately one year to move through each sign of the zodiac. On the 8th, Jupiter leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius where it remains until December 2019.
This is an important shift in the heavens and feels significant for you. Jupiter has been in Scorpio ruling money and your personal finances since October 2017. This can indicate a flow with regard to money which brings wealth and abundance your way.
Scorpio is a deep water sign, however, so finances and emotions are closely linked. You may have experienced issues with money that’s been shared, either with an ex, a business partner or a financial institution. You may have been involved with legal or emotional wrangles concerning an inheritance, debt or investment. You may have found that what you value highly has changed dramatically over the last year.
The day before Jupiter leaves Scorpio, there’s a New Moon in Scorpio on the 7th. This flags up the theme of a new beginning which also encompasses an ending. For example, you might say goodbye to a debt and choose to cut your losses and move on. Or perhaps, the seeds you’ve sown over the past year materialise and you can start to make the money choices you’ve been working towards.
Jupiter’s move into Sagittarius on the 8th breathes fresh air into your life as Sagittarius rules your communication sector and Jupiter remains here until December 2019. This is ideal for all forms of communication, talking, gathering and sharing ideas and information, making new friends and learning new skills.
A new role as a voice-over artist, a new job as a journalist, a new role as a blogger? Use your voice to the best of your ability because this is the start of something big. Key dates are the 8th when there’s a Moon/Jupiter conjunction and the 26th when there’s a Sun/Jupiter conjunction. Both dates feel lucky for you.
It is important to note, however, that Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius on the 17th and remains on go slow until December 6th. Therefore, don’t run before you can walk. Be aware that learning a new skill takes time. Know that with Mercury in retreat, you may have to go backwards before you can go forwards. What Mercury retrograde is good for is learning and research.
Mercury teams up with Jupiter on the 27th but this is in readiness for their second meeting on December 21st when both planets are direct, which can coincide with good news. Mercury and Jupiter are both connected to education, learning and the mind. Use these dates to your advantage and plan your strategy accordingly.
