For the first week of the month, your ruling planet Venus is in Gemini and your travel and study sector. Look out for an influential person who can help you expand your horizons on the 5th when Venus aligns with Jupiter in Aries and your relationship sector.
On the 7th, Venus enters Cancer and your career and vocation sector where she remains until early June. This is a good time to work your connections and get on the right side of people of influence. It’s a helpful symbol for finding the job or role you love.
Also, action planet Mars is in Cancer up until the 20th. Therefore, this may be an ambitious month for you when you can get ahead and make the right moves. Certainly, work and money seem to be under the cosmic spotlight more than usual.
Lunar Eclipse
Taurus is the star sign linked to money and the Sun is in Taurus up until the 21st. Plus, there’s a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse cutting across the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac on the 5th. This is the sector of your horoscope ruling finances and money that’s shared with other people, money that’s invested or owed.
Things can emerge during an eclipse that have been hidden and eclipses often reveal winners and losers. Ideally, you want to be on the winning team. Or, to be alongside the person, either personally or professionally, who’s making great strides. This means you can take advantage of the wheel of destiny turning.
This eclipse is a positive time to re-evaluate money and what it means to you, whether you want to earn more, pay off debt or decide what to do with your money. It’s not easy astrology but it could show where your priorities lie. And, it could reveal your options moving forwards. This eclipse cycle began in November 2021 and completes in October 2023.
The Taurus/Scorpio axis is about sex and fertility, regeneration and transformation, the cycle of life, death and rebirth. How are you going to be involved? You may have your hands in the earth or be a key player in the fight against climate change. You could recognise what your self-worth is attached to and where you’re ready to transform on a personal level.
The Uranus Factor
During the eclipse, the Moon in Scorpio is opposite Uranus in Taurus, the planet of change. Plus, on the 9th, there’s a powerful Sun-Uranus conjunction in Taurus. Uranus is an unpredictable planetary energy linked to splits and the unexpected. Perhaps, you want to go it alone financially and not rely too heavily on other people.
What takes place on or around the eclipse could help you see where to cut ties so you can become financially independent. Or, perhaps an income stream comes to an abrupt end and you have to rethink your next steps and fast. Be wary, however, as it’s not the time to take a huge financial risk when Uranus is behaving erratically.
Mercury Direct
There is another key significator involved in the money game. This is the planet of communication Mercury which has been retrograde or on go slow since April 21st. Mercury is one of the planets linked to trade and Mercury retrograde is never a good time to make major financial decisions.
The turning point comes on the 15th when Mercury turns direct in Taurus. Sometimes information comes to light or the truth of a situation emerges.
If things have been unstable financially, there may be an opportunity to steady your financial situation mid-month. Or, perhaps a gift of money or bonus comes your way which changes your future path. Be open to miracles.
Jupiter Goals – Money & Sex
Also this month, there’s big news as big planet Jupiter is on the move. Jupiter leaves behind your opposite star sign Aries and moves into earth sign Taurus on the 16th, the day after Mercury turns direct in Taurus. Jupiter will remain here until May 2024.
Jupiter takes approximately one year to move through each sign of the zodiac and the last time Jupiter was in your joint finance sector was 2011/2012. Jupiter’s the planet linked to abundance and it’s a positive time to consider how you can boost your finances and resources. Play big while Jupiter’s in Taurus and be open to the law of attraction.
In a relationship, this might be the planetary equivalent of the settling-down period, creating a joint bank account or learning to live alongside another person. Taurus rules sex and intimacy in your horoscope, so think about what next in a relationship and get serious about love.
Yet, this doesn’t only apply to a personal relationship. You may be ready to start a business partnership or work alongside someone else in a specific role in your life. A lawyer, an agent, a personal trainer, a therapist, for example.
When Jupiter is in Taurus, it’s the perfect time to get expert advice, especially when it comes to finances or legal matters. Jupiter’s a global planet so there are no restrictions as you widen your circle of expertise.
New Moon, New Beginnings
This month’s New Moon falls on the 19th, a symbol of new beginnings. It falls in Taurus, the star sign of the moment. Therefore, this would be a positive date to set your intentions around money and sort things out financially.
There is a cautionary note, however, to hold on tight to your money in certain circumstances. This is because there’s a major clash between Jupiter and Pluto. This takes place on the 18th as soon as Jupiter enters Taurus and squares up to Pluto in Aquarius, one of the air signs.
This could flag up a loss so be careful with your cash if you’re out and about socially. Also, be wary of being overly generous on or around the 18th, especially around children or a lover. It’s wise to avoid anything that smacks of corruption or underhand dealings.
Angry Mars gets involved as soon as it enters Leo and your friendship and group sector on the 20th. Mars clashes with Pluto on the 21st and Jupiter on the 23rd. You might come across a friend who’s in a difficult situation financially.
Or, perhaps you encounter anger or rage when you’re out and about. Don’t get involved in anything that could blow up out of all proportion.
As Mars is your partner planet, this could be linked to events in their life. Your path is to look at ways of boosting your finances and your ability to attract what you want into your life.
