Planet Venus
Your ruling planet Venus moves into your fellow air sign Gemini on the 4th where it will remain until the 31st. Venus in Gemini is great for learning, improving your knowledge and committing to a course of study or new ideas which help to broaden your horizons.
Gemini rules travel too and you may be more than ready to spread your wings or plan some trips to new places. It’s an ideal time to allow yourself to dream.
If you’ve been feeling lost or disillusioned recently, you may be considering what next. A change in circumstances could be the trigger that allows you to reassess your lifestyle, your job or daily routine. Events in the first week of July could prove pivotal.
Uranus Enters Gemini
This is because of what’s happening with one of the modern planets Uranus. On the 7th, Uranus makes an epic shift and moves out of Taurus for the first time in seven years, one of the star signs which rule money in your horoscope. Uranus will be back in Taurus from November 2025 to April 2026 but then it moves on.
Plus, your planet Venus is accompanying Uranus on this journey as it leaves Taurus and enters Gemini on the 4th. Uranus is an impulsive influence and you could feel inspired to act spontaneously in the first week of the month.
Perhaps, you make a big decision around finances or you recognise that your values are shifting and changing. It might be external events which trigger an impulse reaction.
It may help to think back over the last seven years as Uranus has moved through Taurus. Has this been an unpredictable time emotionally or financially and where and how has change revolutionised your life?
Uranus is moving into your fellow air sign Gemini and this is likely to be easier for you. Gemini represents the bigger picture in life, travel and study, exploration and learning.
You may want to see the world or save the world with this planetary combination and it would be the ideal time to plan an adventure or make a snap decision that could change the direction of your life.
Freedom is a key theme of Uranus and it’s the planet of the collective. Therefore, you may become more involved in what’s happening in the world, in politics or in society in general. One thing’s for sure, your thirst for learning and adventure is going to take off big time.
Career Goals
Also this month, there’s strong focus on your career and future path. This is because the Sun is in the star sign Cancer at the peak of your horoscope until the 22nd. Plus, big planet Jupiter took up residence in Cancer last month encouraging you to expand your world over the coming year.
Perhaps, you’re going for promotion or you want to set up your own business. Alternatively, you could be ready to pursue a new future path which will open up your world and bring more freedom your way.
If you need to make a big decision about your career or vocation, tune into your intuition during the Full Moon on the 10th. This Full Moon cuts across the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the zodiac and the foundations of your horoscope.
You may need to make a tough decision regarding work which impacts your home and family. Or you sense the pull between safety and security versus freedom and expansion.
The stars are calling you to follow your true path in life and pursue your vocation.
Friends & Connections
This is an important month to use your connections. This is because of what’s happening in fire sign Leo, one of the most social sectors of your horoscope. The Sun’s here from the 22nd and talk planet Mercury is in Leo throughout July.
On the one hand, this promises a social few weeks when you can get out and about and meet up with friends. Yet, it’s good for other areas of your life as well, meeting the right contacts or getting in touch with friends in high places.
Traditionally, this is a time to be on holiday but you may prefer to focus on other areas of life, especially your future path and getting ahead. Having more fun falls under the Leo umbrella.
This is true for the New Moon too, which takes place in Leo on the 24th, an ideal date to set things in motion with a group of friends. Or reach out to someone you haven’t heard from for some time. If you’re a typical Libra, you enjoy having a wide social circle.
There is a proviso, however, because communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Leo on the 18th and will be on go slow until August 11th.
Sometimes, friendships fall apart when Mercury’s retrograde. However, this can be a positive time to reconnect with friends from your past. Try not to take things too personally while Mercury’s in retreat.
Two more planets turn retrograde this month, romantic Neptune on the 4th and commitment planet Saturn on the 13th. This may be significant for you because both planets are in Aries and your relationship sector.
Perhaps, you move away from someone significant this month or you have different goals to pursue. It’s worth noting that both planets will be back in Aries early next year and they come together in a powerful conjunction in February 2026. Therefore, this might be an important date to work towards if a relationship takes a backward step this month.
Virgo Vibes
Finally this month, action planet Mars is in Virgo throughout July. Virgo is the star sign before Libra and this turns your attention inward. Virgo is the most personal and hidden sector of your horoscope, a time when secrets and confidences are powerful and you discover new insights about yourself.
However, Virgo can be linked to worry and anxiety, so take care that you don’t end up becoming overly fearful. Prioritise relaxation and use tricks and tips to calm your mind.
Retrograde phases can be uncertain too and mind planet Mercury will be on go slow from the 18th onwards. Try not to fall into overthinking especially if you’re unsure of your next steps or you’re worried about taking a big leap.
Slow things down and do what you can to lower your stress levels. Write in a journal and keep coming back to the facts. Another great way of using retrograde planets is to change your mind or take time out and go on retreat.
Alternatively, you may be studying or be busy with research or planning. Virgo is one of the studious signs of the zodiac and you could be hidden away getting ready for a busy project or being out in the public eye. Do what’s right for you.
