Libra Season

Scorpio Season
Home and family are under the cosmic spotlight this month. This is because your ruler the Sun will move into Scorpio, the star sign at the base of your horoscope, on the 23rd. However, before then, there’s plenty going on in this sector of your horoscope.
Firstly, talk planet Mercury is in Scorpio throughout October. Therefore, consider why you may need to pick up communications with family or regarding your home or a property deal.
Secondly, the planet of relating Venus is in Scorpio until the 25th. Again, this puts the spotlight on family connections. Or perhaps, you’re involved in renovating or decorating a property. Venus rules beauty as well as love.
Water signs like Scorpio are empathic, intuitive and holding. Emotional connections run deep and invisible ties lead into your past and even beyond the veil between worlds.
This could be a month when your emotions lead and guide you. Or you’re in tune with spirit or a spirit guide. Anything’s possible and you may be aware of a deeper connection which lies beyond yourself and helps you find your place within the wider universe.
Mars’ Power
Also this month, action planet Mars is in your star sign Leo throughout October. Mars in Leo adds motivation and dynamism to your personal tool box. You may feel confident and assertive with Mars in your star sign. Mars is a physical planet and, at its best, gives you strength and courage.
This could be helpful, especially as Mars runs into power planet Pluto in your opposite star sign Aquarius on the 3rd. Consider who or what you might be up against as Pluto is a formidable influence.
Plus, the planets in Scorpio are pulled into this clash, Mercury on the 2nd & 30th, Venus on the 10th & 20th and your ruler the Sun on the 26th, the day of the Full Moon.
Stand your ground but don’t go for broke as Pluto is a powerful opponent. It’s not the best time to get on the wrong side of the law. Instead, look after your own interests and take good care of yourself.

Venus & Mercury Retrograde
Venus and Mercury turn retrograde this month. Venus turns retrograde on the 3rd and Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, both planets in Scorpio. Plus, they will turn direct close to one another, Mercury on November 13 and Venus on November 14.
This could mean that you’re playing a waiting game around a home or family matter. Or you’re delving deep into the past and finding out secrets linked to your ancestry or upbringing.
Be patient and do what you can to sort things out at home without taking on too much. Mercury retrograde can be a time of misunderstandings and you’re wise not to push too hard to get things resolved.
Instead, take your time and review things carefully. Perhaps, you’re in contact with someone from your past and this impacts your future path.
Alternatively, you may find that a property deal stalls and you’re having to play a waiting game on a third party. It’s always worth chasing people up when Mercury’s in its retrograde phase. And know that the turning point comes mid-November.
