Pisces Season
Your ruler the Sun remains in Pisces until the 20th. Pisces is one of the water signs and this can be an emotional placing for you. You may be dealing with hidden feelings or be exploring the shadow side of life.
In addition, action planet Mars is moving forward again in water sign Cancer and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. This is another reason why you may be more focused on your inner self than the world outside.
In fact, this is a positive time to engage in healing and reflect on your past. If you’re taking a trip down memory lane, engage with your emotions as this could be a powerful time of release. Enjoy your close relationships with the ones you love or a spiritual or divine connection.
This is about moving away from the ego, whether you’re prioritising other people or you’re seeking deeper meaning in life. This theme runs throughout a lot of the month for you. You may be on a seeking quest or keen to improve your knowledge. Look for more to life beyond the everyday.
Sometimes, however, you have to return to the past before you can step into the future. Apply this to your own life and see how it makes sense to you.
The star sign Pisces highlights joint finances and shared resources in your chart so this is about money matters as well. As Neptune in Pisces is active on the 2nd, 19th, 27th & 30th, it’s important not to wear rose-coloured glasses around money matters or shared finances. There’s an elusive and intangible quality to Neptune so don’t let money matters drift or finances slip through your fingers.
Also this month, there’s a Lunar Eclipse cutting across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac on the 14th. This is your finance axis and events mid-month may be linked to what was happening in September 2024. Money could be an emotional issue for you, whether this concerns an inheritance or you’re having to split finances with someone close in order to move on.
Eclipses can symbolise things coming to an end so there may be a shock around money. Or perhaps, there’s someone in your life who’s not playing by the rules or sharing equally. There’s a shadowy feel to eclipses, so be wary of getting involved in anything underhand. Money is one area of your life that could prove contentious but sex, power and taboo issues are also under the cosmic spotlight.
Venus Retrograde
There may be a specific reason why it’s important to sort things out financially. Freedom is strong in your chart, whether you want to travel, study or explore new horizons. Certainly, this is a time when wander-lust could hit you hard and you’re more than ready for an adventure.
This is because talk planet Mercury enters Aries and your travel and study sector on the 3rd followed by your ruler the Sun on the 20th, the day of the Equinox.
In fact, there’s a lot happening in this sector of your horoscope throughout March. Aries is a fellow fire sign and fire signs want to have fun. You love spontaneity and saying yes to life, and having new activities and events to look forward to.
There is a proviso, however, because the planet of love and relating Venus turns retrograde in Aries on the 2nd. Venus will remain on go slow for the next six weeks and other people’s actions may impact your own life more than usual.
Perhaps, you’re called to chase after someone you love who lives abroad. Or, you recognise that you have different beliefs and values to a significant person in your life. Certainly, Venus retrograde in Aries suggests a shift in perspective, a change in your values or outlook on life.
Venus retrograde in Aries can be a symbol of returning to a holiday romance. Or perhaps, you fall in love with a new mode of learning.
Mercury Retrograde
There’s a second planet which turns retrograde in Aries on the 15th, the planet of communication Mercury. As Mercury is the planet linked to transport, it’s doubly important to check travel documents and allow yourself extra time to get from A to B.
This is traditionally a time of delays, when you’re wise to reflect upon and review your situation rather than dash ahead. Bear this in mind, especially if you want to book a holiday or apply for a study course. That’s not to say do nothing while Mercury’s on go slow but be flexible.
Sometimes, Mercury retrograde brings frustration. Or it reminds you that patience is a virtue. It would, however, be the perfect Mercury retrograde phase to take time out, go on retreat and look at your life from a fresh perspective.
Alternatively, you might be saving up and planning your next big adventure for mid-April. Or this time in the year could coincide with a major development in a study course or educational project.
Solar Eclipse Aries
Even though planets are retrograde in Aries, you often feel enlivened and more adventurous when the Sun leaves Pisces and enters Aries on the 20th, the day of the Equinox. This is traditionally a time for making a fresh start as energy and new life returns to nature.
Plus, fire sign energy leaps in as there’s so much going on in star sign Aries. You may have a burning desire to get away, go on holiday, seek religion or turn your life around. The Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 29th could be the trigger that sets things in motion. A Solar Eclipse can feel like a turbo-powered New Moon, a symbol of new beginnings.
Although, this is the last eclipse in the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began in April 2023. Therefore, you may sense that one significant chapter of your life is coming to an end.
The last few days of March are complex as both Venus and Mercury return to Pisces on the 27th & 30th while Neptune goes the other way and enters Aries on the 30th. It’s a theme of alpha and omega, endings and beginnings.
When you let go of challenging emotions and put the past behind you, you may have a strong sense that your energy is returning and you can start to make some bold steps in a new direction. There’s no rush, however, and it may feel like a muddle and a mess before the light returns and you have a clear sense of where you’re heading and why. This unravelling process continues until mid-April.
