Update: Two Geminis took the men’s & women’s singles titles – Rafa Nadal (June 3, 1986) & Iga Swiatek (May 31, 2001). The birthday boy, Djokovic (May 22, 1987) couldn’t defend last year’s win. In the end, it was Nadal who had super-human powers & seemed able to harness the fiery energies of the Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Aries that dominated during the tournament. We talked about record-breakers on this month’s Astrology Talk Podcast & Nadal has now extended his French Open wins to 14 and Grand Slam wins to 22 – epic! The tournament chart suggested the favourite would win & Djokovic’ astrology did seem promising, the no. 1 seed – hence my prediction – but you could say that Nadal is always a favourite to win at Roland Garros & Iga Swiatek was the no. 1 seed in the women’s singles. Thank you to all the astrologers who made their predictions, especially those who backed Nadal from the beginning 🙂 .
The French Open tennis is already underway. I often go away on retreat during the Mercury retrograde phase and didn’t get back until the tournament had started. I arrived home to find there was an issue with my website/hosting and it only got fixed today – thank you Mercury retrograde!
I know a few of you have been adding comments on other pages on the website but hopefully the key astrological interpretations can now be in one place.
Tournament Chart
Let’s leap in with the astrology of the tournament chart – see image above. A Leo Ascendant means that the Sun in Gemini is the chart ruler heading for a positive sextile aspect with lucky Jupiter in Aries.
Jupiter transits are always good news for players and this combination does give a nod towards the favourite. Djokovic was the winner of the French Open 2021 as he knocked out the French Open record holder Nadal in the semi-finals and Tsitsipas in the final.
Lovely Venus is also in Aries on the Aries Midheaven. The ruler of the Midheaven Mars is right at the end of the zodiac in Pisces and about to start a new cycle and make a powerful conjunction with Jupiter in Aries on May 29th.
The Moon is always important to consider in these charts and is conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. However, the Moon is void of course and makes no other planetary aspects before leaving Aquarius. Tradition states that ‘nothing new will come of it’, another nod towards last year’s winner Djokovic doing well.
Two other points to note – Mercury is retrograde throughout the tournament and only turns direct on June 3rd at 26 Taurus. Does this mean that something hidden will come to light towards the end of the tournament? (note to self – it might be worth looking back at previous tournaments with Mercury retrograde to see if a pattern emerges.)
Also, Saturn hardly moves throughout the tournament as it turns retrograde on June 4th, the day of the final. This may not be significant as it switches direction after the tournament finishes. Yet, anyone having a Saturn transit could feel the weight of Saturn more intensely than usual.
Top 6 Seeds
Carlos Alcaraz (6) b. May 5, 2003, time unknown, El Palmar, Spain – Sun Taurus
I’m starting with the whizkid Carlos Alcaraz. He beat Nadal, Djokovic and Zverev at the Madrid Open on May 8th – an astonishing achievement for someone so young. The significant astrology was Uranus directly on his Sun at 14 Taurus. As we have seen in the past, Uranus transits, especially by conjunction, can be spectacular – the surprise element.
Only 19 years of age, he was the major talk going into the French Open which fits his Venus at 16 Aries on the Midheaven of the tournament chart. But can he win? As I’ve been writing this blog, Alcaraz has just come back from a near-inevitable defeat. On the brink of going out, he’s now in the 3rd round.
Alcaraz is born on a Sun/Mercury conjunction in Taurus and we often see Mercury or Gemini factors strong in tennis players. There’s no time of birth for him so we don’t have all the information we need to dig deeper.
Mercury retrograde is at 0 Gemini as the tournament begins exactly conjunct Alcaraz’ north node at 0 Gemini. That doesn’t feel like a win for me but he’s certainly going to get noticed during this tournament if nothing else. I suspect there are going to be a lot of people talking about him.
Novak Djokovic (1) b. May 22, 1987, 11:25 pm, Belgrade, Yugoslavia – Sun Gemini
Djokovic was missing at the Australian Open 2022 – the big story of the tournament. In 2021, Djokovic won two of the four Grand Slams but Nadal’s win at the Australian Open 2022 took Nadal’s Grand Slam tally to 21, one above Djokovic & Federer on 20 each. Djokovic is closing in.
You’ve got to like Djokovic’ astrology this tournament & this year. That’s because it’s his Jupiter Return year. His Jupiter is at 18 Aries 56, almost exactly conjunct the Midheaven – success point – of the tournament chart.
Plus, Djokovic’ Moon is at 5 Aries and lucky Jupiter will be exactly conjunct his Moon on June 13th, closing in throughout the tournament. Action planet Mars has now joined Jupiter in Aries and will also be activating Djokovic’ Moon and north node in Aries. The tournament started on his birthday too.
There is one major progression that’s exact on May 31st – Venus progressed opposite Saturn – but that may be more about what’s happening at home rather than on the court. With changeable Uranus also at the base of his astrology chart, there’s likely some tension in his personal life but it will take a lot to steer him off course.
Rafael Nadal (5) b. June 3, 1986, 7:10 pm, Manacor, Spain – Sun Gemini
Nadal is one year older than Djokovic. His natal Jupiter is in Pisces which is where it was when he won the Australian Open earlier this year. There’s not a lot singing astrologically in his chart at the moment so it would have to be sheer strength of will to see him through to a win here.
And, his chronic foot condition did flare up again only a couple of weeks ago so that Mercury retrograde may be doing him no favours. Nadal’s natal Mercury is in Gemini where Mercury is currently in retreat.
Daniil Medvedev (2) b. February 11 1996, time unknown, Moscow, Russia – Sun Aquarius
Medvedev won the US Open 2021 when Jupiter was in Aquarius and sitting nicely between his Sun/Mars Aquarius. Another player with no time of birth, Medvedev does have Venus at 2 Aries and being triggered by Jupiter at 2 Aries as the tournament begins. Whether this is linked to his career, we can’t be sure without a time of birth but it’s a lucky influence nonetheless.
Alexander Zverev (3) b. April 20, 1997, 3:00 am, Hamburg, Germany – Sun Aries
Alexander Zverev is born on the cusp of Aries/Taurus but he does sometimes wear an Aries glyph on a chain. The earlier of two possible birth times suggests he’s born under the sign of the Ram. He can also be quite fiery on court.
Jupiter in Aries is likely to be good news for him, although it’s more likely to kick in next year when he will have Jupiter exactly conjunct his Sun Aries. He was born with Mercury retrograde and the predominance of Aries planets may do him no harm.
If his time of birth is correct, the eclipses in November 2021 & May 2022 have been hitting the foundations of his chart which can coincide with dramas, highs and lows.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (4) b. August 12, 1998, 12:35 pm, Athens, Greece – Sun Leo
Tsitsipas is a Sun Leo like Roger Federer. He has a few nice connections to the tournament chart. His natal Jupiter is at 27 Pisces triggered by Mars at 28 Pisces. His Moon is at 17 Aries on the Midheaven of the tournament chart.
Also, Jupiter will be getting closer to a positive trine aspect with his natal Midheaven at 5 Leo as the tournament progresses. Otherwise, nothing major to shout about and he does have a challenging Pluto transit to his natal Venus, possibly about love or money rather than tennis.
Who Will Win?
Djokovic is the one to beat.
Tournament Final Chart
Adding this here to check nearer to the final.
Thanks Sally
Hi Sally, I noticed the chart of the final says June 4 but the final is actually on June 5
Thank you – I have amended and added the correct version.
Sally, so glad you’re doing the tennis blog again.
First, you’re wondering about Mercury retrograde during a GS. Well, Mercury was retrograde during AO this year. I pointed out that Mercury retrograde might mean a repeat winner. With Djokovic’s absence, Nadal was the only previous winner there. Not many people favored Nadal but he won. I can’t think of one previous winners at FO besides Nadal and Djokovic. Could it happen again?
Second, you said the tournament chart favors the favorite so you thought it favors Djokovic. It’s French Open. Nadal should be the favorite as long as he plays. I’m curious why you didn’t even consider Nadal.
Third, in your podcast with Christina, Christina talked about record-breaking in sports and soething about kids breaking
record during this period. “Kid” could be Carlos and record-breaking could be Nadal since he holds just about all records in FO and he also holds GS record too. Djokovic can’t break any record at FO this year.
Just some fruits for thought…
Before the tournament started Djokovic is/was the favourite. Followed by Alcaraz and Nadal. The reason for this is: Nadal skipped clay season due his chronic foot condition. It might be that once we are in the second week Nadal regains the position of favourite to win RG2022.
It should be mentioned that Mercury will turn direct on 3rd of June, which is the day the semi-finals take place and Nadal’s birthday. Nadal and Djokovic are meeting in the QF – so according to me the winner of that match will win the French Open.
.
Yes, interesting – thank you. Re. Nadal – he’s not the top seed, he didn’t win it last time and his transits aren’t great! I guess that’s why I didn’t go with him. Plus, he already holds the record for the most French Open wins and the most Grand Slams so I don’t know that he’s going to be the record breaker. Let’s see what unfolds.
It doesn’t matter that Nadal’s not the top seed. Seeds are based on rankings and because of injuries etc Nadal isn’t higher in rankings. Djokovic would still be top seed because of ranking so you shouldn’t consider that. I also feel that you always favour Djokovic and I remember in the AO one of the other contributors was using the astrology and picking Nadal.
hi Lesley, I’ve found your comment now – it seemed to be hidden because it was a reply. Please all keep me posted if there are problems posting. I think it seems to be sorting itself out & the comments are appearing but good to know if not. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here, Lesley? My favourite was always Federer which is why I started this blog, so I don’t have a bias at all with the current set of players. I stick to the astrology of the tournament chart and the major transits to make my predictions. I like Djokovic’ astrology this time around as per my blog. And, I don’t always get it right and sometimes other astrologers get it right. We don’t always make the same predictions either because we use different techniques. I hope that helps.
Exactly because Nadal holds all records at French Open and the most GS, he’s the only one who can break the record. No one is even close to his records except Djokovic’s GS. But if Djokovic wins, he’ll only tie with Nadal at the most GS titles. He can’t break it. That’s what I mean that only Nadal can break his own records.
I don’t even think Alcaraz can break any agd record since Nadal won his 1st FO/GS at the same age. I havr to check the date to confirm.
Just checked, Nadal was 2 days past his 19 birthday when he won the 1st French Open on 1st attempt. So no, Carlos Alcaraz can’t break his age record.
Thanks for checking. It was Christina who mentioned the record-breaking theme of the Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Aries – exact on May 29th. But I do agree with her that we will see it playing out – that doesn’t mean it will be the tennis but you would expect it to be more prevalent. It’s an interesting point – someone asked me why the devastating floods on the day of the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction didn’t happen everywhere. That’s not going to happen if the world is going to continue to turn on its axis. Sometimes, there is a reason regarding the astrology for the country and sometimes, the symbolism of the astrology plays out in different ways. That was such an interesting conjunction for clients and there were may different showings of it.
No man has won 3 or more slams on 3 different surfaces. Djokovic can do that here.
Glad you’re listening in to the podcast too 🙂
Thanks for doing the podcast. May I make a couple suggestions?
1. Please reduce personal chatting. I know you’re friends who want to catch up. But the podcast is long. Have mercy on your listeners.
2. Could you please organize the podcast a bit more? I think most listeners are interested in their own sign. The way you jump around may make listeners miss their own sign because they may be multi-tasking when you’re talking about other signs. I did that a few times and had to replay the whole thing. Maybe you can group signs in a certain order? By birthday order? By water, earth etc?
Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions. Interesting what you say as we specifically wanted the podcast to be more personal and chatty! That’s really our USP. I’m aware that’s not going to appeal to everyone but as both Christina & I write extensive horoscopes, we wanted to try and bring something new to the market. And, do something that we enjoy. I’ll let Christina know and see what she thinks.
My creme-de-la-creme horoscopes are my weekly horoscopes which I’ve been writing now for 7 years. I love writing them! It’s a paid subscription service that interprets all the major astrology for the week and gives a comprehensive horoscope guide for each 12 star signs. I haven’t missed a week in all that time and my subscribers love receiving the newsletter every Sunday morning ready for the week ahead. You can sign up here: Weekly
Thank you very much Sally.
According to a YouTube page “AstroLab”, Carlos Alcaraz’s mother told him that her son was born at 3 in the morning. I’ll leave that information in case it helps.
Thank you – really helpful. It would make sense as it makes his Midheaven late degrees Scorpio and the recent eclipses in November & May – they came as a pair – would have been triggering it – eclipses can accelerate growth, the highs & lows in life. Although, it does mean the south node is on his Midheaven and I often think it needs to be the other way round for greatness.
Hi Sally,
Seems like men’s quarterfinals will be played on May 31st – Novak/Nadal if they both progress to that stage. Since there is so little margin between these two great rivals, will the progression you noted below have any impact at all on the outcome of the quarter-final?
“There is one major progression that’s exact on May 31st – Venus progressed opposite Saturn – but that may be more about what’s happening at home rather than on the court. With changeable Uranus also at the base of his astrology chart, there’s likely some tension in his personal life but it will take a lot to steer him off course.”
In my experience of doing these tennis predictions, the transits tend to be a better guide than the progressions. We have seen progressions playing out in previous tournaments but they’re not always as date specific as the transits. They tend to be a backdrop to what’s happening during the year.
Nothing new can easily mean Rafa winning- as french and rafa are synonymous.. i don’t think you can keep Rafa out solely because he lost last year. Remember he beat djoker hands down a year prior, no?
We are all waiting eagerly for the thoughts of subject experts in this forum.
Thank You sooooo much Sally for this Grand Slam prediction blog !! The Best value adding blog to grand slams is the one posted by you with many sharing views. This is the tradition since 2012 Wimbledon and going Strong !! Thank you again !!

The astrology of French Open 2022 from Juan Cruz
The astrology of Roland Garros 2022
Despite not having the time of birth of many of the top players, which makes it very difficult to make an accurate analysis, below I will share my astrological forecast for this new edition of Roland Garros as I have been doing in all the grand slams for a long time. several years.
The great irruption in the tennis environment in recent years is that of Carlos Alcaraz . In September 2021, despite not having his birth time, I anticipated that the young Spaniard would continue to rise in 2022 (see tweet https://twitter.com/ElBlogDeJC/status/1435739978668003329 ) but that he would stand out even more in 2023 with Jupiter in Taurus.
It exploded in Miami and Madrid with Uranus on its Sun, now Uranus is moving a little away from that position. I think he can make a good Parisian Open, but I see it difficult for him to win because Saturn converted opposes his natal Sun and that can speak of obstacles and impediments.
Daniil Medvedev (no time). It can take a heavy hit because Saturn conjuncts its Sun/Mars. I discard it for the title.
Alexander Zverev (taking the chart with time of birth 3am). Saturn squaring your supposed Midheaven is an indicator of frustration.
Andrey Rublev (no time). I think he can make a good tournament for the trine of Jupiter to his natal Pluto by activating the sextile with Uranus.
Mateo Berrettini (no hour). He is another who can benefit from Jupiter in the first degrees of Aries, forming a trine with his natal Pluto and Uranus.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (no time). It continues with the secondary progression converts Sun trigone Jupiter, which generally indicates a good period for him (2021-2022). The issue is that for this tournament there are no outstanding transits, he can have a good tournament but he will not be a champion.
Rafael Nadal (7:15 p.m.). He had a good lunar revolution left with very strong Mars conjunct Jupiter and both elevated in the lunar MC. That is a very positive aspect, which is why I think that at a minimum he should go far in the tournament. The opposition of the Sun to radical Saturn, at the same time as angular Pluto in the monthly chart and square to the natal 6/12 axis, make me doubt about the coronation and about the state of his physical body.
Novak Djokovic (11:25 p.m.). His lunar revolution for Paris I consider to be the best of all, since he has Jupiter together with Mars and the Moon in the monthly MC and that package in sextile to his natal Sun. In addition, Uranus forms trigone with his natal Ascendant. The only con he has is Pluto opposite the lunar Ascendant.
For all the above, I consider Novak Djokovic the best astrologically aspected to be crowned champion at Roland Garros 2022.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsccDAFI_h0
That is the link of another prediction about Roland Garros 2022, where he puts Carlos Alcaraz as the possible winner
Djokovic begins Shani Sade Sati this year which are 7 subpar years. When Federer went through Shani Sade Sati it started september 2009 and in those 7 years after he had mixed results and won few Slams, I think 2 Slams, 1 in 2010 and 1 in 2012. Any experts in vedic astrology can explain this?
This appears to be a very interesting observation.
Sade-Sati is the 7+1⁄2 years long period of Shani. This astrological phase is much feared by those in India who believe Indian Astrology. This is a period with many challenges, but also a time of great achievements and recognition.[1]
( Source : Wikipedia )
Sade Sati is not so bad. Sometimes it can give you very good results as well but definitely you will have obstacles.
Saturn turns retrograde on 4th june reenters Capricorn and enters Aquarius again in January 2023.So sadesati starts for Djokovic only in January 23.

Rising from

Until March 29, 2025
And then the peak and setting phases after that until 2030.
What does rising mean..stsrt of the bad period ?
@RKSO
It says Nadal is going through Ketu dasa. If that’s correct, then it’s impossible for him to win.

Sorry, but what time do you use? Nadal is going through moon dasha which is his 10th house lord. To be precise Moon-Mercury-Rahu. Also, who says that it is impossible to win with Ketu Dasha? LOL. His Ketu signifies 2,6,7 and 11.
What I posted. It means Nadal is going through Mercury dasa. His Ketu dasa begins in December of this year.
Eh, he is going through Moon Dasha and Mercury antardasha. Ketu antardasha will come soon but its not the mahadasha.
Could you explain these to people who don’t know anything about Indian astrology? What do these mean? How do they impact his prospects for the FO and the year? Thanks!
Mr James Green, Where are you ?
Please enlighten us with your sidereal astrology.
We are nearing the 3rd round of this Grand Slam.
Thanks in advance
I was busy with the marriage of my relative. I have just posted my comments in the blog
Thanks a lot Mr James Green.
Once the technical snags get cleared, we will be able to read your comments.
Thanks once again
Dear Mr James Green,
Can I make a request ?
Could you please post your comments in Sally’s Australian Open 2022 blog ? I shall copy and post it in this blog.
Please do not take me wrong.
We are all very keen to read your comments. Thats why this request.
Thanks a lot
I shall summarise what I wrote regarding the French Open. Cancer 15th degree rises and MC falls on 26 degree pisces which makes moon the ruling planet and Jupiter success point ruler. Moon in close conjunction with saturn in the house of saturn means an older player above 30 is likely to win the tournament. The MC of saturn falls right on the natal Jupiter of Djokovic meaning he has great astrology. But the moon in 8th House means not so good for the favorite in this case Djokovic. Nadal does not have great astrology from the natal chart point of view. But from his secondary progressed chart he has some very good astrology. His progressed MC Lord is mercury and the tournament point ascendant falls on his progressed Mercury and the tournament MC is in an exact trine to his progressed Ascendant. So it is close between nadal and Djokovic. The quarter final winner between Nadal and Djokovic is the most likely winner of FO. I give a slight edge to nadal.
James has spoken and hopefully it’s Nadal.
Sally, Juan – Djokovic
James – Djokovic/Nadal(slight edge)
Djokovic is heavy fav.
Any other Biorythms, Patrick?
We will soon know what unfolds.
hi James, the comments seem to be coming through now and thank you for reiterating your previous predictions. Hopefully, it will stop saying ‘duplicate comment’ but if in doubt maybe drop me an email to double check if a comment has gone through. Fingers crossed, it seems to be working – and of course Mercury is retrograde during the tournament! There are going to be a few technical issues for sure.
Thanks a lot Mr James Green for the summary.
We would all still love go through your comments in full.
Could we have it in my mail id ?
I shall paste the comment in this blog.
Thanks once again
Please read MC of the tournament instead of MC of saturn.
Hi James,
How to contact you for astrological consultation. Please provide your email id.
Thanks.

@Sally , kindly publish this post.

Dear sally My astrological comments on the French Open in your blog is not being posted. It says “your comments are awaiting moderation” Please look into it. Thank you
Hi James, yes there seems to be a problem with some of the comments not being posted – apologies. I’ve changed anti-spam providers since the last tennis tournament and I’m wondering whether this is the issue. I’ve got my tech team looking into it. It’s very odd because both you and Lesley Jackson are having the same issue. You are able to post some of your comments but not all. If anyone else is having problems, please let me know as that might help the tech team work out why.
Sally I have also same issues.
thank you for letting me know. the comments seem to be coming through now so hopefully only a blip.
Hi Sally and everyone.
The vedic chart of Carlos Alcaraz is amazing… Mars in capricorn, venus in piscis, sun in aries, jupiter in cancer and moon in taurus; 5 planets exaltated… And ketu-rahu in taurus-scorpio
The angles of the beginning of the tournament (asc and mid heaven) in conjuction to his 2 benefics (venus and jupiter).
There is another player who was born close to Alcaraz (Holger Rune) that has good skills and looks very intelligent in his way of playing and can have a good tournament, year etc
Yes I have been following Holger Rune last few months. He has been playing fearless Tennis. He has already taken out Talented 14th Seed Shap0valov of Canada in the first round and that too in straight sets. Won the second round in straight sets too

Sally Djokovic mars of lunar return is in square to his natal mars that rules his natal midheaven.your thoughts Sally????
We don’t all use the same techniques to predict. I prefer major transits rather than lunar returns but I know some of our astrologers use the returns all the time. Mars square Mars adds fight & a competitive instinct, maybe too much so.
Hi sally My original post on the French Open has still not come.
hi James, was it the one that was originally posted in the Australian Open? I’m wondering if that’s why it hasn’t been reprinted here, as it would then be a duplicate comment on the website? – let me know. Thank you.
Sally No i did not post in Australian Open i posted only here. But it has not come up.
ok, I don’t know why it didn’t appear – I think the other comments have. Apologies – it was a glitch earlier on today but hopefully future comments will be landing.
Even my comment says awaiting moderation
Your second one went through – apologies. Don’t know why it’s being glitchy! It’s not me deciding what gets posted – it’s the system!
We are very keen to read your original comment in full.
I request you once again to :
i. repost it in this blog and/or
ii.post it in Sally’s Australian Open 2022 blog and/or
iii. e-mail to my id sr38600@gmail.com ( which will enable me to copy and paste it in this blog ).
Please do this for our sake.
Please do not take my request amiss.
Thanks a lot
Djokovic will play Schwartzman next. Maybe he is peaking at the right time and can take out Novak…or at least tire him out!!
Sally and fellow astrologers, is the case that younger players can win for with mildly unfavorable or not so favorable astrology as compared to older ones with better astrology? Just curious
Usually that’s not the case – I think developing a winner’s mentality is vital – the top guys know what it takes to win mentally & physically. Win one Grand Slam and that has to help you in the next one. As we’ve seen even with amazing astrology younger players don’t always come through. But… it sometimes happens, i.e. look at Carlos Alcaraz who defeated 3 of the top seeds to win the Madrid Open – Uranus conjunct his Sun. So, the miraculous can happen.
Thanks Sally.
Schwartz is not beating djokovic..will not even take a set
Nadal has won in straight sets
Hi Sally, what is the preddiction for the ladies, Iga Swiatek looks good
I haven’t looked at the women’s tennis. Sometimes, other astrologers comment on their favourites.
Hi Sally
Thanks again for this blog. Also would like to thank all astrologers for their support and thoughts.
Being a Rafa fan, I fear this record breaking stuff shouldn’t be minimum 3 GS win.
So disappointed to see everyone has picked djokovic ..damn I wanted 22 or 23 slams for rafa..he is 36 now . Repeatedly getting injured…if not here ,not sure if he will win any again..
So does rafa stop at 21 or he has a chance to get one or two more? Anyone please ?
James- your view will be great
I think Rafa will win. Just my view, again anything can happen. Djokovic and Alcatraz are super fit and Nadal is not so fit, but can’t be ruled out astrologically or otherwise.
View as in wishlist or gutfeel ?
The draw placing him in qf vs djokovic ( provided he beats felix) is his bad luck..getting highest seed both in qf n 4th round ..it’s almost as if not let him win it..
Sanju,
Doesn’t matter. For Nadal or for anyone the gs has to win over Djokovic in final or quarter final. If you are to loose then loosing in quarter final is better as you are not sad when loosing quarter final rather than loosing final.Again my view.
Hi Rinku, I share your belief! Despite most astrology comments pointing towards a Novak win in the quarters tomorrow, I believe Rafa will win from purely the physics point of view, providing he is pain-free. He says he prefers sunny hot weather where the balls will bounce high, but that also means the ball will speed through the court with lots of pace. This is very helpful and effective when Rafa was younger and has the explosive speed to cover the courts. He is now almost 36, he actually needs a slower pace to offset the loss of speed in his legs.
Hot weather is perfect for Novak’s game. Novak can hit through Rafa with precision to paint the lines and with speed. He has now found a way to deal with the high bounce off of Rafa’s spin anyway.
Thus I think the slow and heavy balls will frustrate Novak more than Rafa. He will have problems generating pace whereas Rafa will have more time to get to the balls. The finals of French Open 2020 was played in the cold weather of October, and Rafa won in straight sets, 6-0 in first!
It is very difficult to predict how many majors a player will win. We see the astrology at the time of a tournament and see what chances a player has to win it.
Ok James. Thanks for the reply..
Do you still give rafa the edge over Novak irrespective of if it’s a day or night match on 31st
Given that Rafa and Djoker both are player earlier than Alcaraz and Zverev tomorrow, chances are higher that they will play day session and Alcatraz and Zverev will play night session.
Mr Dipanker Deb,
Good observation !!! You could be right. Logically Novak vs Rafa QF should be played in the day session.
Thanks
Someone had mentioned that Alcarez was born at 3AM.I cast a chart for this time. The sidereal chart shows 17th degree of Capricorn rises and MC at 6.43 scorpio making saturn the ruling planet and Mars the career planet. Mars is placed very close to point Ascendant and closely aspected by Jupiter making it a very powerful horoscope. When he won Miami Jupiter and Mars were in close association in last degree of Capricorn. When he won Barcelona and madrid Jupiter was closely aspecting His MC and on the day of madrid final the aspect was exact. This may mean the birth time is correct. If so he has a very powerful horoscope and will have a sterling career.
If Alcarez’s horoscope is powerful and the stars are placed well currently, what are his chances at French Open 2022 ?
Will Alcarez spring a surprise ?
I was checking some past slams that started with Moon VOC and not all of them were won by the favorite. So even this method is not 100% effective. Jeez, there is no method 100% reliable.
Correct – astrology prediction is a type of forecasting like financial forecasting or weather forecasting. It gives a better than average chance of predicting correctly but it’s never going to be 100% 🙂
Hi Sally,
Can you enlighten us the astrology of Emma Raducanu? Nothing seems to go right for her now.
No time of birth for her so hard to say. She had Jupiter transits last year when she started playing sensational tennis. She’s a Scorpio and the recent eclipses – last 6 months – have been in Scorpio & Taurus – they can bring highs but also lows – it’s rarely a stable energy. Also, she now has taskmaster Saturn where Jupiter was last year so it turns from yes to no! Hope that helps.
Here we are again, a hello to everyone 🙂 …
I immediately begin by saying one thing: my impression is that “Alcatraz”, as I call it but also others, has the ascendant in Lion.
It is obviously just an impression given by intuition by observing the boy, there is no data on the time of birth as we know.
Thus, if he were born around 2pm, he would have the Sun printed exactly on the mc with mercury next to it, which would confirm his great physical precocity.
If this were the case, he would have a transit of Uranus in tenth always practically on the mc, since at this moment he is passing on his Sun, and has barely exceeded it by 1 degree and a half.
Calculating that the effect of the 3 very slow planets is not realized immediately, but after months of the exact transit, it is likely that it is in the focus of the planetary radiation, or very close.
It is certainly one of the favorites, even more astrologically, the full explosion could already take place in Paris, or be postponed to the next slams. All the more so as clearly Uranus will return strong retrograde to beat on its Sun.
But he has to deal with Nole and his equally promising astrology, albeit with other characteristics.
In my opinion, Novak will beat Nadal in the quarters, and if so there will be the epic generational clash with Alcatraz in the semifinals.
Whoever wins of the two is very likely to win the tournament as well.
Thanks Andreas
Tell me your opinion, Sally, on what I just wrote.
Do you have the impression, even physiognomy, that Alcatraz is Leo ascendant?
I see this in her pride, in his enthusiasm, and obviously in his overflowing strength.
It seems to me that he has the impressive characteristics of the Lion.
I see what you’re saying but I much prefer to work with a possible time of birth. We can often make a case for different rising signs. The time that has come to light is 3am which would make him Aquarius rising but with Mars on the Ascendant. I think he has the fire of Mars and he’s bringing something new to the mix – Aquarius. So, I think it’s difficult to say without more information.
3 in the morning?
I searched the internet, but I didn’t find anything.
Where did you get this information from?
It was earlier in the comments here – someone had seen a Youtube video that stated Carlos’s Mum had said he was born at 3 in the morning. Sorry, O can’t remember who it was but hearing it from the parent’s mouth is always significant.
https://youtu.be/PeaR9kba0a0
In this link they talk about the time of birth of Alcaraz provided by the mother
I ascendant aquarius Alcatraz do not see it for many reasons, I also repeat physiognomic.
On youtbe I searched, but I didn’t find anything.
It would take the link of that video.
RKSO has posted the link to the video below. You may want to read all the comments here since other people had done the research and posted the info.
Hello Sally! What a pleasure to meet again.
I agree with your analysis, I also think that the winner will be Novak Djokovic. His lunar return seems to me the best of all. I develop it in my article: https://astrologiadeportivaa.blogspot.com/2022/05/la-astrologia-para-roland-garros-2022.html
I see that there is time of birth of Tsitsipas! Which is the source? Thank you very much Sally.
Greetings to all
hello Juan – thank you for sharing your predictions – always great to read them.
hi Juan, I can’t remember the source now – I’m fairly sure it came up in one of the previous tennis tournaments – so not confirmed. If anyone can remember, it would be good to be reminded where it’s from. Thank you.
I don’t know why people are bringing up Djokovic’s Jupiter conjunct Moon as a factor. That’s like saying Jupiter transits last 2 full weeks. Curious what is stronger, a Jupiter conjunct the moon that hits on the 13th of June (8 days after the final) so not within 1 degree the whole tournament or Jupiter retrograde on the 12th of September (less than 24 hours) after the US Open final, which is when it returns. It also returns during the end of the Australian Open next year, crazy the timing of them. I am aware that direct is stronger than retrograde, but the retrograde is near exact on the day of the final, whereas this time around it is not within range. If he does win this French Open I got to believe Jupiter conjunct moon this time around has more correlation with the celebration afterwards.
So what exactly is it that you trying to say ? He is not the fav in ur books to win it ?
You are right, that transit not yet completed cannot be decisive, as it is in formation.
In my opinion, based on research and experience, the direct transit of Jupiter materializes in all its force after about 3 months from the transit on the exact monomer of the natal planet.
Saturn in about 7 months, Uranus also 20 months, etc. See the revolution times of the planets and the degrees covered in a year.
So for him the effects of him will be felt at the US open and not before, where he will however be retrograde, some influence obviously also at Wimbledon.
This is not to say that Nole does not have other arrows in his favor.
Jupiter’s one of the slower moving planets so you do experience Jupiter transits for about a year, especially if you receive three hits as it turns retrograde and direct again. I have a different idea of Jupiter to Andreas as I think the applying conjunction is often stronger than the separating conjunction. And by the final, Jupiter will be only one degree away from Novak’s Moon Aries and already active. With the faster moving planets – Mars, Venus, Mercury – you are looking at more accuracy regarding dates as they can whizz through one star sign in a couple of weeks or months. Working with clients, you often see the Jupiter Return year kicking in when Jupiter enters the star sign too – so there are different ways of working with it.
The day after the final it will reach 1 degree, not the day of. So during his clash with Nadal Jupiter is at 3.40 conjunct moon at 5.34 is at 1.56 degrees (so basically 2 degrees), at the end of the day it is at 3.49, so not much better. It is a Jupiter return year, so I guess it would have stronger influence.
He still has better astrology than Nadal and if it is a night match and humid game over for Nadal. I just don’t feel the Jupiter Conjunct Moon is what will carry him to victory.
On the day of the final, Jupiter is at 4 Aries 24.
Sally, I said that the strongest effect is experienced when obviously the transit planet reaches the perfect conjunction with the natal one.
So it is clear that the effect of Jupiter and slow crying does not end in a few days, but lasts a long time.
However, if we take the slow planets, for example Mars, that is the least slow of these, in my opinion the effect lasts about 3 weeks, always according to the above principle.
hi Andreas, sorry but not sure what you’re trying to say here – I think the typos kicked in so the second sentence doesn’t make sense.
I wouldn’t call Mars a slow planet? It’s one of the fastest planets by a mile.
Hi James,
Any luck in posting your original message on French open that you said did not go through ?
No my original post has not come through yet
Could you repost it please ?
Okay, I’ve seen the Alcatraz video.
But the interview with her mother where she says her son was born at 3am I didn’t hear it …
It is the astrologer who in the comment says he was born at that time.
However I take note that it may be so, even if it does not convince me very much.
If so, he would also have a decioma placed not too well, with the southern lunar node right on the mc, squared to Uranus in Pisces.
Not exactly a tennis star situation.
I agree with you regarding the south node on the Midheaven – I mentioned it in an earlier comment – not a great symbol for success.
So we have a scenario, Nadal can only loose to Djokovic or Alcaraz and if any one can defeat Djokovic it Nadal or Alcaraz and same for Alcaraz only Nadal and Djokovic are capable of defeating him.within a week it will be clear. This french open is very critical and historical and can define the future course of tennis.
Well, FAA is an excellent player, so don’t him out.
The Canadians are doing well. Impressive to watch.
correction *don’t count him out 🙃
Sure. The way match is going and Nadal playing badly.
Will take in 4. Nice warm up forl the big one
After today’s match Rafa is big underdog and Djokovic is big fav for sure.
If rafa Novak match does start 9pm in Paris..then we have a Scorpio ascendant (favorite) and ascendant lord mars conjunct Jupiter within 1 degree Pisces in the 5th house..Venus lord of the 7th house (challenger) is in the 6th house
Seems like an unlikely scenario for rafa to win if he seen him as the underdog and djokovic as the favorite, which in my view as a rafa fan here..djokovic is the clear favorite for this match in 2022
Any thoughts? Am I reading this right?
Dear astrologer,
Big match, should be final match of french open 2022.
Novak va Nadal.
Any thoughts of the match on the day, 31st May 2022?
Who got edge in terms of astrology please?
Thank you🙏
Hi James
Please give your analysis for rafa djoko on 31st May..eager to hear ur astrology take..
I think mostly match will start between 845 pm to 9 pm on 31st may France time…so kindly give for this time..
If it’s during day too ,please give your view
Does rafa have any chance after what he went through today ?
No chance if you have seen today’s match. Novak will win in straight sets.
The match will likely start at 7:45PM CET.
From what I saw today (and I am a Rafa fan) is that Djokovic is the favourite. He has not been tested yet but his serve, return and movement are very good and running. Nadal only has a chance is he plays like the last couple of games in the 3rd and 5th set. That was vintage Nadal. Unforfunately, I think Djokovic is in a better shape and will have the edge. Plus, this match against Felix was taxing for Rafa.
I will have to wait till I know when the match will start to make a prediction. As it is it is very tight Astrologically between Novak and Rafa.
Hi James, I am learning and not that experienced applying Vedic astrology so wanted to know from you if my interpretation of 9pm start tomorrow makes sense that the favorite is more likely to win
At the same time the north node (rahu) is also present in the 6th house although quite wide apart, that would give the challenger the necessary will to destroy enemies?
Or that the challenger is emphatically
overcome because 6th house from favorite ascendant has Rahu in it
Match will start at 8:45 pm in Paris time.your thoughts james
Let’s realize:
Tuesday 31, day of Clash Nole-Nadal, the moon will be in Gemini …
And obviously the Sun too.
It doesn’t get more perfect than that, for two Gemini players, and for the sign that more than anyone else is inclined to this sport.
In fact, the Gemini as we know govern the arms and hands, as well as the lungs.
I can only wait with great adrenaline anxiety …
If the match between Rafa and Nole is a night match it will definitely play into Nole’s hands. For Rafa to stand a chance it needs to be played during the day.
Why is that?
Day suit rafa?
Yes Rafa gets more spin on the ball during day due to the warmer air.
Ok got u.
But match will be played during night.
I usually play when we get to the crucial moments of the slam tournaments.
I’m talking about biorhythms, and specifically about biorhythm compatibility, that is, your own biorhythm compared with that of the specific day in which you play.
A bit like the astrological synastry between two people.
Day 05-31-2022
Novak Djokovic, 05-22-1987
Emotional 94%
Physical 78%
Intellectual 50%
Rafael Nadal, 06-03-1986
Emotional 0%
Physical 20%
Intellectual 42%
So if we take biorhythm as a parameter, there is absolutely no match.
Djokovic is almost at the maximum of his emotional potential, also well placed under that physical one.
On the other hand, Nadal should have a bad day, with even a 0% emotional performance, and very down even physically.
Let’s see if once again the biorhythm feedback will be centered, as has happened very often on other occasions, as someone will recall.
This was especially the case for the US Open 2021 final, in the decisive game for the conquest of the Grand Slam, when despite Nole’s astrology seemed good, at least in terms of progression, the biorhythms were very negative.
Thanks for sharing. If we take it for todays match between Rafa and FAA it is as follow:
Nadal
Physical: 13%
Emotional: 43%
Intellectual: 94%
FAA:
Physical: 97%
Emotional: 43%
Intellectual: 86%
So, how do you decide? From these FAA clearly had an advantage over Nadal yet he won.
Simple … biorhythms, like astrology, do not decide the fate, because what matters above all is the potential of each one ….
And it is clear that nadal is certainly stronger than Aliassime, but by a lot.
But since the latter’s biorhythms were excellent, the game was uncertain until the end.
These things I have pointed out several times.
Those who use astrology as an absolute parameter to understand who can be the winner and the loser are wrong.
Obviously this is especially true in individual sports, where there is a fight for which the position of each can be assessed exactly.
RG this year started with Moon VOC, so the favorite should win…
I checked and Wimbledon and US Open this year do not start with Moon VOC….
I wonder if this means the favorite may not win Wimbledon or US Open this year?
AO this year the Moon was not VOC, favorite did not win.
AO last year the Moon was VOC and favorite won.
RG last year the Moon was not VOC and favorite did not win.
Wimbledon last year Moon was VOC and favorite won.
USO last year Moon was not VOC and favorite did not win.
One example of Moon VOC but favorite not winning was AO 2014
Does defending champion classified as favourite? Only the Top seed is classified as favourite? or Top 2 ? Top 4? Can you check the previous French open finals btwn Roger & Rafa where Roger was always seeded above Rafa but still lost? Even if moon is VOC.
Hi Mike, the favourite is decided on the performance. Rafa was second or third favourite (even though he won it many times) he was not first because of his health condition. I think Djokovic and Alcaraz are also favourites.
Those who think RAFA cannot win against Nole because of today’s match they should remember that RAFA played 2 five set and 2 four set matches in Aus Open this year on hard court with hot and humid conditions. Here on clay I don’t see any problem.
Pleas mark my word RAFA is going to win not just against nole but the French Open as well
His AO victory was astounding.. but there he did not beat Novak though he beat a solid top form Medvedev who even beats Novak many times… the problem is not anyone else but Novak. He will beat everyone else except Novak n may get troubled vs alcaraz
Anish – is your prediction based on gutfeel or a fan wishlist ?
You will see the result, it’s neither on gut feel nor a wish list
Wait for Tuesday you can post your comment after the match
Rafa wins French open this year
Nobody stopping him for sure
Hello Anish,
Good to see, someone confident about Rafa. I hope Rafa is as confident as well then it won’t be problem for him. Confident and fit Rafa will be very very hard but to crack if not impossible. Best of luck to all Rafa fans.
I hope he wins as I am a devoted Rafa fan but everything is stacked against him this year. Absolutely everything. His draw is so difficult and now he has to play at night which he doesn’t enjoy. Poor Rafa. Maybe he can perform a miracle. I hope so.
Just a fact ….
Djokovic has NEVER won the French Open whenever he had won Rome or the Italian Open.
Just two weeks ago , he won his sixth title there .
This is NOT based on astrology , but based on history .
Nice one Armando. Hope the history repeat itself and everyone is proven wrong.
He can still beat rafa n lose to someone else like say he did to Wawrinka in 2015 in final
Novak is not a problem for RAFA at least not on RG
Novak two win here was against the lesser version of RAFA
We all know RAFA was going through his worst phase in 2015 confident wise
In 2021 the foot injury hampered RAFA’s on court movement
I can’t see Novak winning when RAFA is fit and confident
Remember 2020 when every body discarded RAFA, he literally destroyed Novak in first 2 sets with 6-0 6-2 when the condition was cold and heavy (it was in October )
For me those 2 win of Novak count nothing as far as RG is concerned
True. But it is difficult to say Rafa is at his best or not. There were lapses in his previous match against Felix. But overall pretty good. His match stats have been decent this tournament. Novak’s last match was pretty strong.
I agree if he is fit and in form, he should win against Novak here, purely from a tennis perspective. Whether day or night.
As for no. 1 being the favourite, I think Nadal has probably beaten Novak when he was no. 1 before.
@Sanju
He has beaten a very in-form Djokovic just hours ago !
Lol
Hi James
After looking at Andreas (nowhere to Novak as per biorhythms) and Alexander’s view on Novak vs Rafa clash with all those day or night match things, you still stand by Rafa? As Sanju said very eager to hear from you Mr. James.
Requesting Sally, James Green, Juan, Javier, Patrick, Alexander and all other Astro Pundits to take a fresh look at the planetary positions of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal and offer their assessments for tomorrow’s blockbuster Quarter Finals.
Thanks a lot.
In the quarterfinal on Tuesday Nadal will be the crowd favourite. More than 90% people present in the March will be rooting for RAFA on Tuesday
Thar will spur djokovic even more.. he thrives in such situations ..Wimbledon 19,uso 15..he has faced it all..
Just for the perspective
How we perceive the favourite for a tournament
I mean it cannot be solely based on seed or performance
What about the player, people want to see win, the one who is crowd favourite
Can’t he/she be the favourite
I want to return to the “transit orbit” topic discussed below.
Yes, because as the great Andrè Barbault, father of the so-called “modern astrology together with Dane Rudhyar said, wrong term but I use it only to give an idea, as there is an orbit of gods and among the planets, there is also consequently an orbit of transits.
And according to this principle, in the case of slower planets, from Jupiter to Pluto, the effect of their influence varies over time and usually does not materialize at maximum power when on paper there is the perfect aspect, obviously that of conjunction. it is the most important and the strongest.
So the influence will be felt a little earlier, it will grow over time when there is the perfect conjunction, and it will be maximum after some time that the perfect conjunction has dissolved.
So the effects are there throughout this time span, more and less strong, but they vary depending on where the transit planet is at that moment.
I have verified this, but obviously everyone will have made his own experiments and verified him, as is normal.
All ,it’s the night match tomorrow starting between 845 to 9 pm.
Whatever little chance rafa had is gone too…no sun n on top of that coming off a 4.5 hr 5 setter n a unknown ‘ when will I flare up’ foot
James – please give your prediction considering it starts 845 to 9 pm France time
Here is the link to what Nadal said in his press conference about playing at night on clay. This was after his third-round win against the Dutch player. The question is asked at 2:45. To add to his response it will be 20 degrees max in the day so it will be a cold night. Not good.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHSQzfnyWgI
Nadal won RG2020 in October in cold and under the roof. I knew he doesnt prefer it but he can do it
In Oct 2020 conditions were more colder, and Novak needs little faster court so he can hit the ball across the court, as he is not beast like Nadal but still he is the best. Also in 2020 Novak was under power with his forehand, he fixed that in 2021and we all know peak Novak can do in any court.
Also I keep hearing from Nadal fans that Nadal was under power on both occasions when Novak defeated in first in 2015 during hot faster day conditions in 3 sets, as well last year slower cooler night conditions, but not extremely heavy conditions like those were in Oct 2020. Novak is the best player for more than a decade now.
Now let’s look positives for Nadal from numerology perspective as Nadal being number 3 has mostly done historical well every 3 years since 2010,2013,2019 exception year 2016 where he was really injured, in those years he had won French open and made a landmark year for himself with year end number 1. 2016 -Murray became number one as he is part of same numerical family-3,6 and 9. 2022 started similar and luck came his side and won Australian open and we all know the best player was not there to defend. From facts side as well this year it favors Nadal as we haven’t seen Novak winning back to back Italian open and French open in a same year.
Let’s see how Novak forehand comes on the court tomorrow, question to be answered will he tame the beast in the red court in relatively cooler conditions this year from last year as night Temperatures are lower this year, could be little heavy as well or beast shines in this numerological favored year.
But rafa did very well and ended no 1 in 2008 and 2017 too which are 1 and not 3..what explains that ?
@ Victor Your numerology analysis about Nadal being number 3 is correct.
Hopefully, it will last throughout the year .
Good job !
I actually think it will help Rafa, playing in cold conditions. Yes, ball may not bounce as much and conditions will slower but Novak has hard time generating his own pace. I expect Rafa to win in 4 sets. As long as Rafa keeps unforced errors in check, it will be fine.
Spot on
@ Fedal
Wow !
Good prediction !
Interesting that the other youngster doing well this tournament is born very close to Carlos Alcaraz. They are both 19 – Alcaraz’ birthday is May 3 2003, Holger Rune is April 29, 2003 and has just knocked out Tsitsipas. Both teenagers are Sun Taurus and both have key planets in Aries – this means they are getting the double whammy of Uranus in Taurus & Jupiter in Aries – the two key planets you want to see acting as a catalyst for success!
Thanks for the update Sally. Are these transits active throughout the tournament?
If the match starts at 9:00 p.m. local time, the Moon still Will not be VOC when it starts. I wonder if the match starting with a Moon not VOC means it is a different outcome from their last meeting? Hmmmm…
@Alexander – looks like you were absolutely correct!
@ Alexander
Good analysis and insights !
Moreover , history tells us that NO ONE has defeated Nadal two times in a row at any clay tournament , much less at French Open in Court Philippe-Chatrier .
They both have chance to reach final sally ?
Djokovic has never won FO when he wins Rome. Maybe an Alcaraz- Rune final?
It’s hard to say without a time of birth for either of them. Holger Rune has his Moon in Aries but we don’t know what degree without the time of day. The transits aren’t exact so you can’t say absolutely yes but I’m intrigued that there are two 19 year olds with key planets in Aries/Taurus both peaking this year when the transiting planets to watch out for are in those two star signs!
Hasn’t Alcaraz’s birth time been confirmed to be 3AM?
It’s not confirmed but it was heard on a Youtube interview.
Nadal’s French Open quarter-final against long-time rival Novak Djokovic will take place in Tuesday’s night session at Roland Garros despite the 13-time champion’s desire to play in the day. Officials confirmed on Monday that the pair’s 59th career meeting will be the late match under the lights of Court Philippe Chatrier with the day’s other quarter-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev set for the afternoon. “I don’t like to play on clay during the night, because the humidity is higher, the ball is slower, and there can be very heavy conditions especially when it’s cold,” said Nadal last week.
“I think that makes a big difference between the way tennis is played on clay during the night and during the day.”
Djokovic had hinted he would prefer to face Nadal as late as possible.
“All I will say is Rafa and I would make different requests,” said the world number one and defending champion.
Alcaraz said it would have been “unfair” if he was ordered to play after 9pm for the third time. Nadal and Djokovic have played one match each so far after dark.
Maybe some hope for Nadal fan, Sitsipas was big big fav but he lost today.
Tsitsipas was fav againt Alcaraz !!!!! I am sure no tennis fan expected that.
I have heard the Nadal vs Djokovic match will start at 21.00hrs local time. The Ascendant is scorpio 11th degree rising and in exact trine to Jupiter and ruling planet Mars in conjunction with Jupiter in 5th house. The Ascendant represent the favorite and this means very good astrology for Djokovic to win as he is the favorite being the no1 seed. The 7 th house represent the challenger and it’s Lord venus is placed in the 6th house in the company of North node so not as good for the challenger as for the favorite at 1st glance. But the 7th house contains Mercury Lord of MC and sun the 10th Lord as per equal house system so making 7th house stronger meaning the challenger will not be put away easily. Moreover moon is in the 8th house in an almost exact trine to saturn which does not make the job easy for the favorite. So i am expecting a close match and the result could go either way.
Favourite has nothing to do with the no.1 seed but with their performance so far. Nadal will always be a favourite but I agree this time it seems Djokovic. Mars and Jupiter just came out of a planetary war, does that play a role?
For Djokovic Mars will be in 5th house as lord of ascendant and 6th house with Jupiter lord of 5th and second house. Whereas the 7th house has 10th lord, 8th and 11th lord places. And the 7th house lord conjunct Rahu (in nakshatra of Sun, 10th house lord). I also think its going to be a close call. Given the conditions and form I give the edge to Djokovic.
In Astrological terms the favorite in a tournament is always the top seed not the fans favorite or one who has won the tournament maximum times etc.
So you want to infer that point system of ATP is made to comply with the astrology.
I mean seed system is not one tournament specific and depends on various factors
It’s time for astrologers to broaden the horizon
Indeed, Anish. I agree Djokovic is the favourite for this match but never count Rafa out.
Good analysis , James !
Could you please analyze the remaining Rafa matches ?
You predicted that the winner of the QF between Rafa and Djokovic would be the eventual champion , and that he is more than 30 years old . Nadal is the only one who is more than 30 years old among the last remaining players. I don’t know how old is Cilic though.
Amado cilic is above 30 years old
Congratulations Mr James Green ! Your prediction has come true.
Before I forget, we are still waiting for your original comment in full.
Congrats once again !!!
We would like to read your assessment about Friday’s SF between Nadal and Zverev. Please oblige.
Thanksalot
Raman let the schedule of that match come out then I shall do so.
Hi Sally and all,
This will be a fascinating astrological exercise, the quarterfinal between Djokovic and Nadal. It’s nice that we have birth times for both players!
Djokovic has his secondary progressed Ascendant approaching the trine to his progressed Sun. A very nice factor. But it is still 24 minutes of arc from exact. The progression that is exact is the one you mentioned, Sally, progressed Venus opposite Saturn. It could bring some sort of unhappy experiences, but as you said, it may not be expressed on the tennis court.
Transiting Mars will be near Djokovic’s Moon. A stimulating factor for sports performance? Or irritability? A potential difficult transit is Chiron squaring his Ascendant, but that is still over half a degree from exact, and I’d guess we will not see it in effect. The transiting Sun will be making a nice sextile to his North Node, and that could be good for success.
Nadal has a progression in possible effect that I believe brought him extraordinary good luck at the Australian Open. He didn’t have to play Djokovic there, where Djokovic has been dominant, just as Nadal has been dominant at the French Open. The progression is progressed North Node sextile Mercury. “Fated” success at tennis? But now the progression has moved farther from exact, perhaps in “iffy” range.
A transit that could be quite difficult is Mars squaring Nadal’s Neptune. It will be starting to separate before the match begins, but I think it will be close enough to exact to be felt during the match. It can bring a time of lower than normal energy or perhaps injury problems. It is not a good time to be playing a tennis match.
I’m going with the transits and the prevailing opinions expressed here and picking Djokovic to win this match. But the progressions might be better for Nadal, and I won’t be surprised at all if he succeeds here at “his” tournament!
I see that there is a tendency in many to use astrology, or even alternative tools such as biorhythms, to use them in an “absolute” way, that is, to read situations as a certain parameter of who can win or lose.
This in my opinion, but I am more than sure and therefore for me it is obvious, it is wrong.
Astrology or other types of predictions do not decide anything, but only indicate the personal situation at a given moment of the people, in this case of tennis but it obviously applies in all cases.
So, as Horacius below asked me, how is it possible that Aliassime lost even though he had much better biorhythms than Nadal?
The answer is simple: nadal won because he is much stronger than Aliassime, although he was certainly not in the best of form, and we saw him well, while the other was close to being so.
And in fact nadal had to work tremendously to bring the meeting home.
Therefore the evaluations of uncertainty are justified only when two athletes are distant in the potential of each.
Tonight in Paris, on the other hand, two champions who we know have very similar potential in terms of value face each other.
According to what can be seen from the biorhythms, Djokovic today is clearly superior to nadal, and therefore he should win and perhaps quite easily.
And even the astrological predictions seem to have this reading from most of the users who write here.
Obviously nothing is taken for granted, I would certainly not be surprised if all astrological predictions or others were denied, it would not be the first time.
But we fans of these subjects must point out that there is a certain tendency in favor of Djokovic. Or so it seems.
Another thing.
I see that no one, practically no one I think, mentions the ascendant of transit in the calculation of transits.
I say that it takes on a lot of importance, like the Moon, in drawing up daily forecasts.
It moves about 12 degrees per hour, so it is clear that it can affect the “moods” and performance of the athletes during the match.
I would like to hear your opinion.
Andreas,
What does this mean for result of the match?
As per the prediction of Mr Prakash, a Tarot Card Reader, Novak Djokovic will be the winner today.
Here is the link :

Yeah, he then posted a message saying that Djokovic will not win Roland Garros this year. I suppose that means Djokovic will lose in SF? He also has another video where he predicts Djokovic will not win a SLAM this year…..
No he said djoko will reach final which is even strange as no one from other side is like Stan to beat him unexpectedly in a slam final
He just posted a comment below the video saying even Djokovic will not win Roland Garros this year. Read the comments below the video.
lreally
In the last video, you said that Djokovic will not win a GS this year and that Nadal had a 70% chance of winning RG. Thanks
Prakash Tarot card reader
I stick to my prediction. Even Djokovic will not win French open.
There are 27 comments below the video.
The more I watch Alcatraz, the more I think Leo is ascendant as I said.
Not only for how strong he is, for the strength he has, but he also looks a lot like a friend of mine who has the ascendant in the sign.
I just don’t see him as an aquarius ascendant …
At the moment he is down 1-2 with Zverev, but now he is back to playing as a “beast” after two sets not up to par.
But Zverev is on a great day today, a great match.
I don’t know about Alcatraz, Sasha Zverev played like a lion. I’ve never seen him play so well. If Rafa doesn’t make it I hope Zverev wins the tournament. Great match.
Only less than five people everywhere predict a Rafa win all the way . Most are for Djokovic’s. This maybe because of Nadal’s state of health and preparedness for this tournament .
Even astrology favors Djokovic, not only the experts and the bettors.
Lest we forget , this is Roland Garros , Nadal’s kingdom , so to speak . Nobody has defeated Nadal back to back in a clay event , let alone at Court Philippe Chartier.
This has a lot of similarities of 2020 when everyone was writing off Nadal , even the conditions are similar. Hopefully , the result will be the same , too .
According to Nadal’s couch Moya , it was the vintage Nadal that played in the last three games of set five against FAA . It was the thirteen French Open champion .
He got his rhythm back !
Hopefully , the vintage Nadal will show up tonight against Djokovic.
One more thing to consider ….
Djokovic NEVER wins the French Open every time he wins Rome .
He won Rome two weeks ago , his sixth title there .
History always repeats itself .
Carlos Alcaraz run ends in FO 2022
Dear Astrologers
Alcaraz lost to Zverev in 4 sets. One of the favourite is gone. How about the other and Rafa’s chances further in the tournament?
Started ever so slightly late because they had to get the crowd out from the day match. Coin toss 8:57. Umpire called time at 9:02. The first ball was struck less than 10 seconds to 9:04.
Looks like Rafa does much better in colder conditions!! Maybe like October 2020, he will finish the job in straight sets!!
Top half semifinal will be defacto final.
Not so early
Rafa won Novak in 4 sets… What a match! What a player Rafa is!!
Who was carefully listening to Mark Woodford commentary , particularly in first 2 sets ???
All the predictions/ safe choices except James failed.Nadal wins. Needs serious rethink on astrology.
Maybe Karma plays the part. It’s double whammy of karma. No.
Good vs evil
So happy for Rafa
Rafa has done it. What an incredible player and an incredible match. I’m happy.
I told you so !
Just believe !
I completely misfired, especially with biorhythms as well as astrology.
But also the other writers are unfortunately in the same conditions as me 🙂 …
Horrid party, between two deaths in the field, but above all Nole was a walking corpse, unrecognizable.
We always have to understand a lot about astrology and everything else.
Guys, from a sidereal perspective Rafa is going through moon (10th lord) en sub period of Mercury. If we want to know how the sub period was of Mercury we can get some indications from a previous dasha (Venus-Mercury) which happened in and around 2010. That was one of Nadal’s best years where he won 3 Grand Slams. Therefore, I always had the feeling its going to be a good period for him despite some adverse transits.
Not sure if Rafa will play Wimbledon if there are no points.
Rafa is 36 and is fighting to be the slam leader. He is not playing for points or money anymore..if he is fit, he will surely play wimby and must play.
No top player will skip wimby
Unless said player has chronic foot problem. It really depends on how Nadal’s foot is doing after French Open. I think he’s taking a tournament-by-tournatment approach. French Open is obviously his priority. After that, everything is gravy.
Till when is this in effect ? All year ?
I told you so !!!
Just when everybody has written him off , Nadal has risen to the occasion.
History does , indeed , repeat itself !!!
Djokovic NEVER wins the French Open whenever he wins Rome in the same year .
Nobody can defeat Nadal two times consecutively in a clay tournament , let alone in Court Philippe Chartier.
Now , Nadal’s path to the title is way , way easier with the elimination of ALCARAZ .
To all Nadal fans ….
JUST BELIEVE !!!
Let us please not give rafa the title…he has to play 2 more matches. Zverev was playing very well today and he will put up a solid fight ..rafa just cannot let his guard down.
I agree . It’s just his path has opened up for him considerably , so has the draw .
I’m not leaning to astrology now , but to history .
Even the tennis experts had predicted the outcome wrongly .
Hopefully , Rafa can stay healthy and win all the way .
In my article on Roland Garros, I had pointed out the good astrology of Djokovic and Nadal for this edition. I ended up leaning towards the Serbian.
As a self-criticism, I think it was a mistake not to have taken into account the secondary progressions.
Today I studied Djokovic’s, and I realized that he is having for these weeks Venus progressing in exact opposition to Saturn! This is a very important aspect of hardship.
Of course I take it as learning, you always learn more from mistakes than from successes.
On the other hand, what was anticipated with respect to Medvedev and the “hard blow” that he could receive and also the good tournament in Alcaraz but without coronation were fulfilled.
Maybe shani Sade sati is affecting Djokovic?
Mr Alexander, you had pointed this out at the outset itself. And you are right. Congratulations!
We call this EZHARA SANI in Tamil / Malayalam @ South India.
Congrats once again for the observation !!!
Is this in effect for wimby too for djokovic
Shani Sade Sati are seven and a half years with many difficulties and challenges.
Djokovic’s shani Sade Sati started this year.
Only people with Moon in capricorn or acquarius don’t have it so tough during this period because shani/Saturn is the ruler of capricorn and acquarius.
That is what I read
Hi Juan,
I always like reading your remarks. You are sensible and respectful of everyone.
I wonder, along with you, if Djokovic’s exact progression of Venus opposite Saturn told the story of this match.
I have read that progressions can be very important in prediction. It seems to me that an exact progression can be crucial. But nothing is infallible, so we keep searching for astrological wisdom!
Do you see Nadal going on to win the tournament? I wish we had times of birth for the other remaining players.
One thing is for certain- Rafa is always the favorite if he is playing the French Open. Full stop! Also when Sally said, nothing new would come out of this, and favorite is going to take it all, for folks who have followed tennis for last 20 years and seen Rafa play in Paris, this was a no brainer.. looking forward to semis- Zverev looks like playing very good since Alcaraz was red hot!
This is the French Open. If Nadal is not injured you need great astrology to beat him here. A Jupiter conjunct moon is phenomenal astrology, but as I stated earlier it was not in play for this tournament for Djokovic. Let me put it another way, have you ever felt a Jupiter ‘transit’ 2 WEEKS prior to its arrival date? (that was not turning retrograde or direct so it slowed down) I have not. It will arrive 13 days from now.
I feel people were clutching at straws, giving what astrology was happening this month. Nadal doesn’t need great astrology to win here, just like Djokovic doesn’t need it at the Australian Open. They just can’t be up against each other when the other has the stars aligned. I think the astrology for both was average. Which means advantage Rafa on clay.
Did this play a part? Match was on May 31st –
There is one major progression that’s exact on May 31st – Venus progressed opposite Saturn – but that may be more about what’s happening at home rather than on the court. With changeable Uranus also at the base of his astrology chart, there’s likely some tension in his personal life but it will take a lot to steer him off course.
I was skeptical about Sally’s comment about this being tension in his personal life instead of his performance. It has happened before where adverse signs in Djokovic’s chart was dismissed as unimportant or it could be issue in his personal life. I think it’s people’s bias toward the “favorite.”
He broke Federer’s record when he won his 106th match at Roland Garros. He now owns the most match wins at any single event.
Nadal has won 110 (not 106) out of 113 matches in French Open. He owns that record since the 1st match this year. But this doesn’t sound like a BIG enough record to make an astrologer excited.
Several points:
1. In French Open, it doesn’t matter what the ranking is. Nadal should be the favorite unless he’s injured. His winning % in Roland Garros is 97.2% (!!!!!). It’s crazy to peg him as “the challenger.” In 100 matches, he lost 2.8 matches and he’s not the favorite? Nadal has won French Open with so-so astrology before. When he’s healthy, someone would need an extraordinary astrology to beat him. It’s been that way at Roland Garros.
2. Djokovic is not in top form as some people based their predication on. He’s not played or tested much in 2022, unlike Nadal.
3. The point Christina made about record-breaking is still on. We’ll see.
Djokovic’s coach Goran Ivanisivic made a statement during French Open 2020 that Nadal does not stand any chance against Djokovic.
Goran Ivanisivic commented during French Open 2022 thus “He’s ready for best of 10, if they played 10 sets tomorrow,”
Ivanisivic had been severely criticized for his comments during FO 2020.
I do not know if the arrogance of a coach has any significance on the astrology or outcome of any match.
Goran can say all positive things for Djokovic. After all , Djokovic is paying him , maybe Goran is expecting a bonus of sort by super-hyping his ward .
All in Djokovic’s team are arrogant , including his father . No wonder , Djokovic is like them , too .
Djokovic’s father said that Djokovic was sent by God and has compared Djokovic to Jesus .
I woke up this morning to over 40 comments in my inbox so I guessed it had been a dramatic outcome for the Nadal-Djokovic match. I’ve had a quick look through the comments and I want to make a couple of points. You have to take Djokovic as the favourite for this tournament – he’s the no. 1 seed and the reigning champion – stay true to the craft of astrology. Djokovic had the better transits than Nadal – I disagree that a Jupiter transit has to be exact to be powerful and with Mars powering through Aries picking up that Jupiter in Aries, it’s even more powerful right now. I believe you have to look at transits first, progressions second but use them together. The fact that Djokovic had one major progression exact on the day of the match seems now to be significant – but we don’t know what it’s about in his life. Without a consultation, we can’t know what else is going on to perhaps affect his performance. I think what’s more interesting is why Nadal is on fire! He is such a Mars character – it’s his ruling planet in his chart. His Mars is in Capricorn and I’ve called him the gladiator in the past. He seems to be fired up by the Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Aries but it doesn’t show clearly in his astrology. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes on to win and break new records – moving one step further away from Djokovic’ & Federer’s tally of Grand Slam wins. Congratulations to those of you who favoured Nadal – I know the majority of astrologers did favour Djokovic over Nadal but it’s not a bad thing to be humbled by the sacred art of astrology. Working with clients a lot, I see that we don’t always take our opportunities when they are presented to us – that seems to be life. It’s rarely a run of constant wins but sometimes the timing is so perfect that we step forward and take a leap of faith. We grab our positive transits not every time but often when we are ready. Astrology is our teacher and a great source of learning and meaning in life. I’ll be writing more in a separate comment.
Hi! Sally
Wouldn’t Nadal be counted favourite for French open as he has won 13 times….as u predicted favourite will win and nothing new will come out.
Well yes, you could say that to try and make sense of the astrology but I still don’t see Nadal’s astrology as better than Djokovic’ astrology this tournament. I’d love to hear from other astrologers on here about what they see. I know some of you have written in already. We can take Djokovic’ major progression as perhaps the reason why he’s been stopped this time but what’s propelling Nadal to play so incredibly? My take on it is that Mars is so fierce at the moment and he’s Mars-ruled (Scorpio Ascendant) but you would expect to see stronger astrology if he’s to win the tournament? Unless, this is about adrenaline for him and sheer force of will – good on him if it is!
Sally – A simple question.. can a person’s sheer will ,tenacity ,fight and passion not trounce what his astrology is suggesting ? Maybe the universe is just supporting nadal for this. I don’t think any of the players look at astrology before playing a tourney as they have no control over the dates, they are fixed in the calendar.
Hi Sally If you look at the tournament chart from sidereal point of view it clearly shows the favorite not winning the tournament as Ascendant Lord moon is in 8th house with saturn. Djokovic the favorite had very good transits from the natal chart point of view but from the secondary progressed chart Nadal had better. The Ascendant of the tournament chart was exactly on Nadal’s secondary progressed mercury and mercury is Nadal’s progressed MC Lord. The MC of the tournament chart was no doubt on Djokovic’s natal Jupiter but it was in an exact trine to Nadal’s progressed Ascendant. I have found in my experience that if one player has a good transit for eg Jupiter transiting MC on his natal chart but the same Jupiter is transiting his opponents progressed MC then his opponent wins. In this context you may remember the Wimbledon19 final when Djokovic beat federer. That is why in my initial post on this blog I said I give a slight nod towards Nadal over Djokovic.
Really interesting what you say James and very complex! I do think transits to progressed planets can be accurate by conjunction but I wouldn’t normally go so far as to consider the planets/angles of the tournament chart in a different aspect to a progressed planet. But hats off to you, it seems to have worked so far. And yes, actually I agree with you regarding the 8th house Moon/Saturn. As the Moon is separating from Saturn and void of course, I interpreted it as ‘nothing will change’ i.e. the favourite will win. Plus, the ruler of the Ascendant the Sun on Djokovic’ Sun Gemini – his birthday – seemed to give a nod towards him. And the lively Mars-Jupiter conjunction firing up his Moon Aries over the last few days! So yes, I think whatever’s happening behind the scenes may be more significant than we know. Always good to hear your perspective 🙂
I want to ask one of you great astrologers whether you’ll take on this forum after Wimbledon and open up a place for a debate over tennis/astrology. You don’t have to get the prediction right all the time but be willing to share the space. It will be my 10 year anniversary of tennis predictions at Wimbledon this year – I began in 2012 when Federer won – and my enthusiasm is waning. Federer was always my favourite and I’m no longer so interested who wins – I also think that plays a key part in prediction. In my experience, your intuition is stronger when you care greatly about the result! I’m also handing this competition over to the astrologers/fans on here. We have a 4 day weekend here in the UK and I’m heading off for a few days with my daughter from tomorrow. I’ll make sure the comments are being approved and will update the result at the end of the tournament. Have fun 🙂
Hi Sally,
You have a superb track record with your predictions! If there is anyone who has gotten the predictions right EVERY SINGLE TIME, I’d like to know who, and how.
I was thinking the transit of Mars square Nadal’s Neptune would bring him defeat, but it was nowhere in sight. I had predicted Djokovic to win.
If prediction were easy, astrology (and life) would be boring. But it’s always interesting to see how the stars do express.
We do so appreciate your efforts and great predictions in tennis through the years! Have a wonderful weekend with your daughter!
Thank you 🙂
“Federer was always my favourite and I’m no longer so interested who wins – I also think that plays a key part in prediction.”…….
Exactly the same for me, My Respect to You.
Federer will be the Forever Legend in tennis ; for his game & mannerisms.
Taking up Sally’s comments, I say that I completely agree with her.
This is an astrology site, it cannot be said trivially “Nadal in Paris is the strongest even with one leg and wins anyway” etc.
Djokovic, by all accounts, seemed to have better astrology at the moment, and I who deal with biorhythms had further confirmation of this by writing that he had absolutely better cycles than Nadal.
Now after yesterday’s game, it seems all this doesn’t matter anymore.
For me, the thing to highlight most is Nole’s absolutely negative attitude, and he has already seen it before playing.
You could see that he was very tense, little inclined to smile, and this is not like him.
The reason for this is not known, there are indeed extra tennis things, because it is inevitable that for a sportsman it can also affect private life. But even those things are eventually part of the game in the end.
Here the proof of the 9 now comes with the subsequent games.
If Nadal wins seeds and title, we should ask ourselves where is it that we have to read the current positive astrological inclinations, which we cannot see, beyond that he is certainly the strongest on clay.
But if he loses, perhaps in seeds with Zverev, then all those who say now he always wins, regardless of astrology, will have to change their mind and understand that “the law” applies to everyone.
I checked Wimbledon and US Open this year do not start with Moon VOC….
I wonder if this means the favorite may not win Wimbledon or US Open this year?
I believe Djokovic is the favorite at Wimbledon and perhaps at the USO but if the Moon is not VOC at the start of those tournaments does that mean he won’t win? Hmmmm…
As of now dkokovic can’t even play in uso. No entry for non vaccinated in usa
Djokovic does not have any legitimate ground to be considered the fav at uso. He has less titles there than rafa and he is as much as a fav as rafa n Medvedev.
And he is not the defending champion and he won’t be #1 at the U.S. Open
Hi James ,
Any thoughts on the sf between rafa n zverev.
Will rafa be able to get his 22 here ?
People are saying since rafa is no 3 ,this year which adds to 6( multiple of 3) will be very good for him. Any thoughts on this ?
Nadal and Zverev are meeting in tomorrow’s Semi Final.
We have not had an astrological assessment of this SF from Sally, James Green, Astro Tennis, Patrick, Javier and others.
Looking forward to their thoughts on the match.
Thanksalot

Hi All,
According to Vedic Science, Astrology can be predicted for Players/ Persons who are undergoing their Physical and Mentally journey through their Past Performance and Present Form in day to day activities through their Deeds and Karma.
But to those Players who are undergoing their Spiritual Journey, applying Probabilistic theory taking into account the movement of cosmic bodies (planets) in their astrology will be difficult/tricky to apply.
This is because they have the extraordinary ability to offset the Pain and physical ailment if they get magnetized in achieving something which they feel they are destined to.
Truly believe it is a Mind over body matter.
Rafael Nadal kind of has the ability to stretch beyond the realms of natural abilities when he reaches the state of bliss/nirvana. He has demonstrated this through numerous occasions in the past 17 years considering his deformity in the growth of leg bone. Doctors has advised him in 2005 that he will not be able to pursue actively competing in professional sports right before he won his first Grand slam. But look at how well as he adopted, he has won 21 Grand slams. Time and Again, Year after Year he has got injured ( Repetitive Knee injuries, stomach ailments, back problems ) and he has found a solution to come back only through his sheer will power.
Lets see how he will carry on in his next 2 matches if he has the will to go all the way through. Genuinely feel , there is no stopping him in winning his 22nd Grand slam, unless he gets seriously injured again during the match.
Thanks,
Arjun
But please come on …
Using these arguments for a tennis match seems to me not only senseless but also outrageous for those who deal with certain issues.
Besides, it does not seem to me that categories such as “Spiritulity” and even Mysticism can be applied to Nadal, as he was a shaman, as you seem to say.
He himself has never dealt with certain topics and I don’t think they have ever even touched it in the least in his interests.
When astrological arguments and explanations are not found, it happens very often by some that you go looking for who knows what to make sense of what you cannot explain.
But this is very wrong, because you believe in astrology as a discipline that must be interpreted, or you don’t believe in it and stop.
Or third hypothesis, you get to be fanatical fans of a certain sportsman, and then you go to seek “beatification” …
Completely agree Andreas…..particularly on the last paragraph…..
Hello Andreas,
Then How come Your Predictions about Djokovic winning the French Open didn’t come true.
You seem to have firmly placed your bet on Djokovic going all the way. If You would have looked at the match, Djokovic was bullied into submission by the sheer artistry and ground strokes by Rafa. Djokovic got the best of conditions suited to him playing a night match in cooler conditions with ball being heavy (easier for his Game of Flat shots) and ball doesn’t bounce much which doesn’t aid the heavier top spin. This would offset the heavier top-spins which is the USP of Rafael Nadal.
So, Djokovic got the best of conditions, Had a win in Rome Masters (1000s title), No.1 Rank, best astrology and still how did it transcend into a loss. He had everything going for him. How did a miracle occur and a injured man beat a guy who is fit as a fiddle.
There could be a counter-argument about this prediction too::
a. With Rafa already winning the first Grandslam of the Year (Aus Open), Confidence level high.
b. Having won 13 French Open titles where he feels at home all the time.
c. Head-to-Head Record in Roland Garros, Rafa 8-2 against Djokovic, Grandslam record Head-to-Head stands 11-7 Rafa against Djokovic. Essentially, Rafa has Djokovic number in high-stakes contest.
So, if You look at the win percentage of Rafa this year is at 27-3 and he stands as a firm favorite for the French Open with strong Mars Retrograde in planetary position.
For me, Your predictions sounds senseless, baseless in picking Djokovic to win.
Thanks,
Arjun
And what does this have to do with spirituality and all the rest of what we wrote above? 🙂
Of course I was wrong, and I admitted it right away if you read.
And 99% of those who write here are wrong with it.
But surely nadal did not win because he is a “sorcerer”, simply on clay, 3 out of 5 because 2 out of 3 often lost to Djokovic, he is the strongest, there is no doubt about this.
Sorry, I think you have mis-interpreted my comments into a perception of Nadal being a “sorcerer” or “shaman” or some other mysticism 🙂
I was referring to the will power and how does it make a difference in achieving one’s goal when they are magnetized strongly. There are different terminologies to phrase it call it muscle memory which has evolved through past achievements/results which can strongly train a subconscious mind in achieving its goal. Ofcourse , this doesn’t limit to Rafa. It can apply to any individual .
Arjun..are u astrologer too ? What abt tomm ?
Sorry, I am not an astrologer.
Appreciate your admission.
I could infer that.
It must have been very easy for everyone to conclude that you are not an astrologer.
As Mr Andreas said ” it happens very often by some that you go looking for who knows what to make sense of what you cannot explain.”
Well said Mr Andreas
Well , how did your prediction come as an astrologer.
Neither did astrologers get it correct, isn’t it?
Dear Sri Arjun Nanjundappa,
I went through your comments seriously. In fact read twice.
But you were on a silent mode till the time Nadal won.
Your strongly worded comments have come after the match. Its merely a post mortem – in your own language. Not at all relevant to the context that this blog warrants.
The astrologers in this blog are giving their comments before the commencement of the tournament/match.
You are more of a critic. Lets face and admit it.
Nonetheless, you comments are indeed interesting.
Please do not take me wrong.
Dear Sri Raman,
Please re-read my message.
My predictions are Nadal is going to win the French Open.
My Analysis is based on Predictive Learning from the Past Empirical Data.
Thanks,
Arjun
If the tournament chart does point to the favourite, then astrology does work as the absolute favourite is Swiatek. Of course, as I write this she will probably lose, lol.
It’s rafas bday tomm…hope he wins
This guy predicts Djokovic will not win a slam in 2022.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UVFIQoRNI78
ezhara sani challenge that you pointed out at the outset !!!
congrats !!!!
thanks a lot for sharing.
The prediction goes on to say that Nadal could win 3 grand slams and is likely to get injured during the last quarter of the year.
The prediction goes like this :
Nadal has a high chance to win French Open ; sure to win Wimbledon if be participates ; but no chance @ US Open
His latest says new French open champion ..I can’t understand him…from rafa 70 pc chance earlier to rafa losing to djoko n djoko surely making final but losing to a new french open champion all together ,he has shifted goal posts a lot
But he said it was the progressions that got djokovic through and the astrology was too close for both which it was…the match was very close n Roger had 2 mp
Everyone learns n incorporates that was his learning that he used in the djoko vs rafa match where he said edge to rafa
Let’s all calm down..no need to be so upset that we start taking each other down if certain outcomes don’t go our way..if your afraid to fail, then you can’t learn
And if there is nothing to learn then what is the point.
Sally & James have both always been so available and take the risk to share their interpretations. Let’s honor that.
Sally if I may mention, one of the stand out qualities in you is that I often find that you give your analysis as is without an attachment to the outcome. Most of us of course come here hoping for the outcome to be the way we want it :)…so I salute that sincerity and integrity you bring here and keep us as both tennis & astrology fans happy & enjoy the best of both. And yes, we are your fans 🙂 And you probably know this by now, I am mostly silent observer on these forums since 2012, I usually will speak up when things go out of context here. Your time, energy and commitment to serving us is so lovely and blessings to you to heal others through your work
James you too, you always make yourself available and have a wealth of knowledge and very grateful to you both
Thank you for your kind words
Sorry Ankit dear..I am a rafa fan myself..and believe me a very passionate one at heart at the same time respectful 🙂 at the end all of these players are a huge inspiration for the hard work they put in to achieve their goals, we can certainly have our preferences that makes it exciting but ..this isn’t about a specific players fans, neither is it dedicated specifically to anyone in particular..scrolling through the comments over last 2 days I was seeing a lot of back and forth & it’s best to to see the bigger picture at times
Ankit,
Why are you so upset and blaming Nadal and praising federer. Have you forgotten federer got frustrated and there’s the ball in crowd when he was loosing to Nadal in last RG he played.have you ever seen Nadal doing that?
Ankit Yes i was wrong in 2019 Wimbledon and after that tournament I analysed how Djokovic won and found Jupiter was on his progressed MC and venus was aspecting his progressed MC. We constantly try to improve our knowledge and this knowledge which I gained then made me pick Nadal over Djokovic for this RG. I learned this technique of progressed chart from the various astrologers who comment on Sally’s blog and I am eternally grateful to sally and other astrologers for this.
James,
I, for one, am very grateful for your sharing your predictions, rationale and approach. No one can be expected to get predictions 100% correct. We all can miss things. You’re getting predictions right more often than most astrologers here. I’m not sure why someone would bring up a miss back in 2019. It’s great that you learned from it.
I’ll love to read your predictions in the future if Sally no longer wants to put up with us. Please let us know where you’ll share it.
Thanks!
J C thanks for your kind words. I only give my predictions in Sally’s blog. We should all persuade sally to continue her blog even after Wimbledon. I have learnt a lot from sally and other astrologers commenting in her blog and improved my knowledge. No astrologer can be 100% correct all the time. Sally’s predictions have come true in most of the slams from 2012 onwards. She should continue her blog for each slam. I plead with her to do so.
Hi James, I echo J.C.’s comments. You’ve always been very rational and great at interpreting astrology factually. Don’t let any armchair critic affect your continued interest and contributions to this blog!
Omg you’re obsessed with Nadal! Stop commenting every 5 minutes you’re just spamming. If you hate Nadal then stop watching his matches. You’re ryining this forum. Just stop.
I would take his predictions with a pinch of salt. He also predicted djokovic would defeat nadal in QF. So … i think it could be more accurate predictions based on astrological chart readings… every time you shuffle cards you will get a different result. You cannot change the birth dates or the progression of planets
The Nadal vs Zverev semifinal is going to start at 15.00 hrs Paris time. 7th degree of virgo rises and 7th degree of Gemini is MC. Meaning mercury is both the ruling planet and planet of success point. The Ascendant Lord mercury is well placed in the 9th house. The Ascendant denotes the favorite and Zverev is the favorite as he is the higher seed and this denotes he will play very well. The 7th house denoting the challenger Nadal is tenanted by its Lord Jupiter and Mars making the 7th house stronger. So my prediction is Nadal will win after a tough match.
James : zverev the fav ? Just because he is higher seed. Is that the default in astrology to consider higher ranked or seeded as fav ? Otherwise no way is zverev the fav in this match .
I am happy you predicted rafa but hoping it won’t flip if one considers rafa the fav and zverev the challenger
According to what I read and from Nadal’s words , he was hoping to play in the 2024 Summer Olympics which would be held in Paris and the tennis Olympic matches would be played on clay , in Court Philippe-Chatrier for the medals .
Well , two years are not that far off . If he remains healthy , I believe this is his plan to pursue.
It has been his dream for he always mentions it .
This is supposedly meant for Horatius .
Sorry , Sanju .
In Astrology the higher seed should always be considered the favorite. If you get a wildcard to the tournament and they make you top seed even if you have not played a single tennis match in your life from astrological perspective you will be considered the favorite.
Congratulations James Green for the correct prediction !!!
We are now looking forward to your comments on the Final which starts at 3 pm Paris time on Sunday.
Congrats once again
One very interesting thing is Djokovic’s and Zverev’s secondary progressed MC both in 27th degree of scorpio and nadal’s progressed Ascendant is also in 27th degree of scorpio.
James couple of thoughts I was wondering to run by you from Vedic perspective:
-I noticed when nadal beat djokovic moon was transiting over his natal mercury in the 9th house in Gemini. Nadal also is going through moon mahadasha Mercury antardasha so to me this was interesting
-Moon remains in cancer for the semis and finals in its own sign in nadals 10th house, one would think that is a good omen for nadal given that it’s his moon mahadasha.
Do you think there is any significance to the above here?
There is only 1 other planetary change and that is mercury going direct and wonder what impact that has.
Also, the tournament chart has moon conjunct Saturn in 8th house which I intuitively thought (or more like hoped I’ll be honest I’m not an astrology expert but a rafa fan with an interest in astrology) that meant an older player would take out the favorite. Mercury being retrograde in 11th house with sun felt like a repeat winner in this case only nadal meets that criteria
Lastly, would you say moon ketu antardasha from Dec 2022 till July 2023 is when nadal calls it quits given that his going through a rahu ketu return and moon ketu here means to “let go of career” given that moon is the 10th lord
I am thinking that for 2 years now Ds that he will quit his career when his Rahu/Ketu return will happen he will quit. And it may sound weird, but he will hang up his rackets on a “peak” period. I think he might have one French Open in him in 2023.
Ds In calculating the running major period/sub period The Ayanamsa used to reduce the tropical longtitudes to sidereal longtitudes is very important. In India the most popular Ayanamsa is lahiri Ayanamsa but in my research I have found Raman Ayanamsa is the correct one. Moreover in the calculation of major periods the year duration is only 360 days and not the conventional 365 solar years we use in our calendar year. So Nadal has finished his ketu subperiod in moon dasa on 11 th April and presently running venus subperiod in moon dasa.
James, the fact that now it will be a indoor match due to rain, will it still favor Nadal?
What it means? Zverev will win against nadal?
What a terrible thing to happen to Sasha. I’m a Rafa fan but like Sasha and he was obviously in terrible pain. I hope he’s ok but doubtful he’ll be able to continue.
They might as well give the trophy to Rafa and save other players from getting injured!
Then stop watching him.🤣
Ankit,
You lost your mental balance since Nadal defeated Djokovic. Grow up man, Fed is gone.you are blaming everyone and everything.
Say clearly what you want to say.
Just stop, Ankit. Your posts are toxic and ruining it for many people.
I daresay your post will be removed. Not allowed to challenge a certain toxic person on here for some reason. I had a post removed as did others who requested said person tone down his comments. Comments by the person about Nadal which are actually libellous have been allowed to remain. Highly suspicious censorship and not in anyway fair. I’ve lost all respect for this site now.
Hi Lesley as I mentioned a few days ago I am away over the long weekend and have little access to wifi. I wasn’t intending to go on the website but I had to in order to ban the person upsetting so many of you & remove most of their comments. This is one of the reasons why I want to end the tennis/astrology predictions on my website as it takes a lot to keep on top of everything & you can never please everyone. It’s like being an umpire in tennis – a tough job! I hope I have removed the comment/s that offended you.
@ Ankit
I challenge you to prove your accusations about Rafa faking injuries and his service time .
If you can NOT prove it , then you had better NOT comment anymore as they are laced with too much jealousy, hatred for Rafa and totally biased .
You are just showing how salty and bitter you are about Rafa’s bout with DESTINY !
Nobody can stop destiny from happening , even you !
Being a huge Rafa fan, I will be very honest here – Rafa would have lost this today had it been djoker across the net in semis – I have never seen him struggle so much on serve.. he just couldn’t hold his serve in second set until later parts of the set.. Won the first set by skin of his teeth being 2-6 down in the tie breaker.. something surely was not right today with him.. Zverev if not injured would have pushed this to atleast 4 and have lasted atleast 5 hours!
How does the finals day look for Nadal?
Straight sets!
The reason Rafa struggled today was because of the humidity due to the roof being closed. He was soaked in sweat after 10 minutes and he gestured the ball was huge. The ball was picking up moisture and was very heavy.
Listen to his after match interview, nadal clearly called out why he was struggling.
Let’s not say such things with authority and surety. The conditions were horrible, it was very very humid. Djoko does not like humidity either. He vomited in the 2014 final against rafa due to excess humidity.
There is only facts and the fact is djoko was defeated in the qf and rafa was leading the match when the injury happened to zverev..This if it had gone to 4 or 5 does not count, why could it not have ended in 3 had rafa won the second?
Agree with Sanju. There’s no ‘if’ in sports. Djokovic is out. Nadal won this match by preserving in a tough environment. The high humidity impacted him. And as James predicted, Zverev put up a strong fight. But despite all that, Nadal won the 1st set and had the momentum in the 2nd. He was problem-solving as it went.
Well said 🙌
I know .
Rafa today was a shadow of the one that defeated Djokovic.
Maybe , the two days rest didn’t do him good . It stopped his momentum .
It happens to a lot of players , even to Djokovic.
Luck was on Rafa’s side today , not on Zverev’s .
Hopefully , he can recover quickly .
Need not be. Rafa was struggling with his serve vs. Djokovic in the quarterfinals in the 2nd set where he lost a lot of service games. But he came back in subsequent sets.
Rafa’s ability to come back from lapses is generally pretty good.
My next prediction: Rafa will win US Open too!!
Transit mars conjunct his Sun on the day of final and several other nice transits!
Which final? French or uso.
US Open.
I think with French Open, all astrologers agree that Rafa has it in the bag. He is the “favorite” and playing someone not named Djokovic!!
Can you please stop pointing out wrong past predictions of the astrologers who post on here. We do our best with predictions & there are a lot of very good astrologers on here including James. Thank you for your co-operation, Sally
Sorry Ankit..now I’ll be specific..you are creating an unpleasant atmosphere here, enough.
I think you need to give it a rest as you’re becoming very rude and rather unpleasant not to say disrespectful.
Rafa getting 21 at A0 rubbed salt on lot of people’s wounds. The sheer prospect of rafa trying to go for 22 has made them even more crazy. How dare he cross fed and djokovic despite missing 11 slams due to injury? That was not in the script.
The man has earned it by sheer hard work and grit and determination. Rather than trying to grudge his achievements ,learn something from him, will help one in life a lot.
The supposed troll is a Fed fan, just to remind him,Fed ha gone on record to say he adores Rafa and even calls him his friend now. His exact words ‘ My friend and rival ‘ Rafa…It takes a champion to recognise another. Learn something from your idol Federer
Hi James,
Any prediction on rafa Casper? Match starts at 3 pm Sunday
Now I hope we’re back on astrology!
Early on based on the tournament chart, James said the tournament would be won by a player over 30. That clearly will be Nadal now. Not sure whether James would change his prediction. Now Nadal is the favorite since he’s the higher seed.
All astrologers who picked Djokovic: Who will you pick now?
Thanks.
Here Nadal talks about the conditions (humidity) being one of the toughest he faced
Starts at 2:16

Dear all
This is the forum where we get an opportunity to share our thoughts on astrological point of view. We are not supposed to discuss about right and wrong doing of the players. So please don’t comment about the players characters and their personal life especially about their parents, spouse and children. Though I’m not an astrologer but a regular follower of this forum, I request you (non astrologers) to not comment about the astrologers even when they aren’t right. Sometimes it happens as life has many surprises and also would be boring without those surprises.
I would like this forum to be continued forever. I request Sally to keep doing this for all of us.
Swiatek, the tournament favourite won the title.
So, I finally watched the tarot card reader’s first reading and he sees deceiving, theft and robbery for Djokovic at Wimbledon. He will have his title robbed/stolen at Wimbledon. And he won’t win there.
That Tarot card reader seems to flip flop constantly. What credential does he have?
Eagerly waiting for the astrology on today’s Nadal vs Ruud final.
Hello everybody I had predicted in the beginning based on the tournament chart that an over 30 player will win the tournament. So unless Casper rudd has extraordinary astrology for the final (Whose birth details are not available) Nadal will win the French Open. Based on the time the final starts the 7th house is stronger meaning it is better for the challenger that is rudd as Rafa is the favorite being the higher seed. So it may not be easy for the favorite. But Rafa will win in the end.
Yes, I remember you said about winner being over 30.
Just checked weather forecast. Paris will be raining all day till evening. 😕 So the roof will be closed. Rafa had difficulty spinning the balls when the balls got heavy when he played Zverev. Will it be as humid as yesterday? I hope not.
This French Open is a far cry from the previous ones we used to know , weather wise.
They used to be very hot and sunny and all blue skies .
Rafa has to adjust his play , but we all know that these conditions , roof being closed and high humidity , can affect his play. Hence , it may not be easy for Rafa , as James has predicted .
I’m glad that the end result , as predicted , will be the same .
Good thing the weather forecast was wrong. With the roof open, Ruud had no chance. Congrats, James, for another correct prediction!
Sally, I hope you keep the tennis blog going. Think about the differential factor this blog to your marketing! I became your client because of this blog. 😊
Thanks a lot Mr James Green.
It appears that we can witness a close match with Rafa holding a slight edge.
Let the better player win the match !
Awaiting final comments from Sally and other astrologers.
Thanks once again
Congratulations Mr James Green ,!!! You have done it once again ,!!!
Nadal has a good progression still in range of effect, though it is separating from exact, progressed North Node sextile Mercury. This could bring success in tennis.
There is a minor transit that could be difficult, exact during the match. The Sun will be conjunct Nadal’s Chiron. It is interesting that James and others have said it could be a difficult match. Chiron could bring difficulty, even injury. But this is a minor transit, and I agree with James that Nadal will be the winner. We probably will not see any effect from Chiron.
Rafa 6-2, 6-3, 6-1
I don’t even think about making astrological or biorhythmic predictions, because Nadal’s victory seems obvious regardless.
But this is not in a competitive technical sense, although Ruud does not seem equipped to fight, but above all because, as many know, he grew up at the Nadal academy, and as mentioned in the post-match interview of the victorious semifinal against Cilic, Ruud feels practically in debt. with him for having “raised” him and made him grow in that sports center.
And on the other hand he has also stated several times that his tennis idol has always been precisely nadal, from which 12 years divide him.
In short, not exactly a “combative” statement.
I think it will be very conditioned first by having already reached the finish line of the final, and then by not wanting to give a displeasure to his “master”.
Obviously I hope to be proven wrong to have a worthy final, but I believe very little.
Furthermore, there are also persistent rumors that this will be the last match of his career in Paris for Nadal, and perhaps of his entire career.
In fact, the Spaniard organized a press conference at the end of the game with a massive participation of Spanish journalists.
So it makes me think even more that Ruud will not do much to oppose it, and probably he too knows about this desire to withdraw from his friend, with whom he regularly trains at the academy.
The motivation behind this decision is the desire to make an announcement of some importance, and some believe that it is precisely his retirement. In that case will it be a retirement at the end of the year or immediately, that is, starting from the Parisian slam? In fact, it should be added that at the moment the former n.1 in the world is not registered in any tournament on grass, and his programming is free.
Furthermore, to make the situation even more talked about, is the unexpected arrival of Roger Federer in Paris on Saturday 4 June. The Swiss tennis player let himself be immortalized in the lobby of the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome hotel, one of the most popular places for tennis players and sportsmen in general.
Federer has not been formally invited by the tournament organizers, so he is unlikely to see him in Paris as a guest of the awards ceremony; but some argue that Nadal really wanted his friend and rival on the pitch, alongside him when he made the announcement in question.
Uncle Toni is absentI Doubt that there is any major news coming.
Damn! missed by prediction by 2 games..oh Well. Not sure about Wimbledon as he may not play, but he is winning US Open 2022!
Thanks Sally and fellow astrologers!
