Pisces Season
The Sun remains in your fellow water sign Pisces until the 20th. This is a month to be a seeker and explorer of life and make the most of this expansive period in the year. Pisces rules travel and study in your horoscope, it’s about the bigger picture, your vision for the future and the world beyond the ego and the everyday.
This can be an inspirational time when you enjoy day-dreaming and visualising future goals. Pisces highlights the bigger picture in life, so it’s a good time to have dreams and allow your mind and soul to wander and soar high.
Plus, action planet Mars is back on your side as it’s now moving forward again in your star sign Cancer. Mars is only in your star sign once every two years and this can be a motivating, go-getting force.
Mars rules passion and action, drive and ambition. Sometimes, it takes Mars’ anger to get you fired up and ready to rock and roll. Leap into the driving seat of life and crack on with your personal goals. Mars is an independent force.
Travel and study, education and religion are areas of your life which could be ripe for change during the Lunar Eclipse on the 14th. This eclipse cuts across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac and links back to the eclipse in September 2024. It may be that things have come full circle since then.
You might be exploring your spiritual path. Or perhaps, you’re engaged in a clash or conflict of beliefs. You could receive important news about a course or trip on or around the eclipse. Be aware, however, that eclipse symbolism often indicates that something has to come to an end or be given up, before you can embrace something new.
Venus Retrograde
It’s an important month to dream big for another reason as the personal planets are lighting up your career and vocation sector. Communication planet Mercury enters Aries and your future sector on the 3rd and the Sun enters Aries on the 20th. When planets are in Aries, this is a fertile time for ideas and collaboration. You may be keen to pursue new career or vocational goals.
The Sun’s move into Aries coincides with the Equinox and, in the northern hemisphere, it symbolises the onset of spring. New beginnings, a chance to sow seeds and start over.
So dust off your ambition and get on track with where you’re heading and why. This isn’t going to be straightforward, however, and if anything you’re working towards events in mid-April. This is because two of the faster-moving planets turn retrograde in Aries and this sector of your horoscope.
Firstly, on the 2nd, the planet of relating Venus turns retrograde in Aries and will remain on go slow for the next six weeks. Venus is the planet of relating and you may lose the support of a buddy at work. Or perhaps, someone changes their mind and breaks a promise.
Expect a change of staff or last-minute alterations to your schedule. Perhaps, you’re not getting on with someone you work with and you have to tiptoe carefully around them.
Aries is a star sign that’s fast and furious. When planets are here, you can often make quick progress. Yet, for some reason, events in March may require you to slow down for a while, especially if you feel that life is moving too quickly.
If you’re involved in any kind of new work project, it could be a stop-start affair throughout March and the first half of April. Pace yourself and don’t expect everyone you’re involved with to want to help you unconditionally.
Mercury Retrograde
The second planet to turn retrograde in Aries is communication planet Mercury. Mercury switches direction on the 15th, the day after the Lunar Eclipse. This could coincide with bad news. Or perhaps, something hidden comes to light.
Mercury retrograde often coincides with delays, when you can’t get ahead as quickly you would like. Sometimes, you have to rethink or review your situation and inevitably you end up playing a waiting game. What Mercury retrograde is good for, however, is going over old ground so use this time constructively.
With Mercury on go slow in your career sector, who can you talk to from your past to help you in your current or future goals? Is there an old project that you could revive or relaunch? These are the ideas to focus on. Use the timing of astrology to help you be successful. Aim for mid-April to begin a new job or role or plan a big event.
With both Venus and Mercury retrograde in Aries in the second half of March, you’re wise not to make a major decision or investment and keep your cards close to your chest. There’s no harm in using your persuasive charm to boost your career, as long as you don’t fall into the trap of mixing business with pleasure.
Solar Eclipse Aries
There’s another significant event taking place this month and again it happens in fire sign Aries. On the 29th, there’s a powerful Solar Eclipse in Aries, a symbol of new beginnings. However. this eclipse is the last in the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began in April 2023.
Therefore, it could coincide with an ending or moving on from a previous job or position. Perhaps, it’s the catalyst you need to set up on your own or go self-employed. Think of this as the seeding stage.
The Solar Eclipse takes place the day before Neptune makes its epic move into Aries on the 30th and this could coincide with a major sea-change. Neptune is the planet linked to dreams and the imagination, fantasy and the sea.
Neptune in your career and vocation sector favours a true vocation, one which allows you to access your creative or spiritual source. It’s an inclusive influence and you could be making a bold step forward as March comes to a close.
Alternatively, if you’re finding the call of the world too loud and stressful, take some time out. Both Venus and Mercury return to your fellow water sign Pisces on the 27th & 30th respectively. A holiday, a trip away or a change of scene could be the soothing balm you need if March turns out to be a lively and dramatic month.
