Mission & Purpose
The Sun is in Aries, the star sign at the peak of your horoscope, up until the 19th. Aries rules your career and vocation, your status and reputation. It’s about your future path in life.
This could mean you’re exceptionally busy and, hopefully, doing well. You could be on a mission in life as a strong sense of purpose and a desire for change and progress pulls you forward.
What you want to achieve might not be for your own ends but taps you into something greater, something beyond yourself. You may be involved with other people in helping to create a better world. Ultimately, the Sun in Aries is independent and forceful. This is about forging your own path and deciding your next steps.
Mercury Turns Direct
Also this month, there are two significant turning points. Firstly, the planet of communication Mercury turns direct on the 7th. Mercury’s been retrograde since March 15th and it’s been an unusually chaotic Mercury retrograde phase.
Mercury turns direct in your fellow water sign Pisces and the sector of your horoscope linked to travel and study, the bigger picture in life. It’s where you find meaning and purpose.
Sometimes, news or information comes to light once Mercury is back up to speed. Or anything that’s been delayed finally gets the go-ahead.
You may be keen to book a holiday or course. Alternatively, you may decide to sign up to a new religion or tread your spiritual path. Whatever helps you expand your experience of life, it’s here where you’re wise to be open to new opportunities and growth.
Venus Turns Direct/Full Moon
The second turning point comes on the 13th, when the planet of love and relating Venus turns direct after six weeks retrograde. Venus began its underworld journey on March 2nd.
Like Mercury, Venus turned retrograde in Aries, the star sign at the peak of your horoscope and then retreated back into Pisces and your travel and study sector at the end of March.
Perhaps, there’s a link between these two areas of your life. For example, you’re keen to change things around you so can go on a sabbatical or take up a job or position abroad. Or you recognise that you’re wise to gain new qualifications which could help you on your future path.
The Full Moon could be pivotal and it falls the same day as Venus turns direct, the 13th. This Full Moon cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac and the foundations of your horoscope.
You may feel pulled in different directions during the Full Moon phase and recognise where you’re leaving your past behind and where you’re ready to move on.
Alternatively, you may realise that you need to say yes to a new role, position or job to support your family or cover your mortgage or bills. Whatever issue is foreground for you personally, make an intuitive decision on your next steps during the Full Moon phase.
It might be that what you decide could prove painful but see this as a healing phase and keep your gaze on your future path and where you’re heading.
Friends & Groups/New Moon
The Sun’s move into Taurus on the 19th flags up your friendship and group sector. This turns the focus towards one of the social sectors of your horoscope. You may be keen to expand your circle of friends and try out some new activities.
If you’ve been thinking about joining a club, group or society, it’s an ideal time to do so, especially during the New Moon in Taurus on the 27th.
If you want to widen your social circle, put time and energy into your friendships. Create friendships that are mutually supportive rather than being a one-way influence. The Sun’s move into Taurus is positive for collective and collaborative ventures.
Mars’ Power
There is a proviso, however, because of what’s happening with action planet Mars. Up until the 18th, Mars is completing its journey through your star sign Cancer. This can be helpful for you as it’s a motivated and dynamic influence. This could mean you make plans to travel with friends or organise a retreat. The key dates are the 4th/5th.
Once Mars returns to Leo on the 18th, it’s time to focus your attention on finances. And Mars is encouraging you not only to dig deep but get tough. For example, be wary of getting caught up with a rich crowd or spending too much money on a leisure activity.
The most challenging astrology takes place on the 27th, the day of the New Moon, when Mars is opposed by Pluto in Aquarius and your joint finance sector.
You could find yourself in trouble with the tax man or the authorities. Or perhaps, you have a fight on your hands regarding money or your savings take a dive. This may be linked to events back in November 2024 or what took place at the start of this year, 2025.
This could be the right time to cut your losses, especially if one situation in particular has been causing you a lot of stress. Mars and Pluto working together tend to be final, a time for ultimatums and making major decisions.
