Libra Season
Libra season runs up until the 23rd when the Sun’s in Libra, your opposite star sign. The New Moon falls in Libra on the 10th and this could turn out to be a significant date for love.
Yet, remember when planets are in Libra, it’s important to compromise, listen to both sides of the coin and weigh things up carefully. Libra is a different planetary energy to your direct and forthright star sign, Aries. You can learn from your opposite star sign.
Life often becomes easier when you take on some of the opposite sign’s traits. Slow things down this month and be aware that you’re not always going to be the one in charge and ask for help when needed.
Even though the New Moon in Libra is peaceful and balanced, you may be aware that you’re not getting on with everyone this month. Or you’re caught up in a ‘battle of the sexes’.
However, one of the loveliest dates is the 15th, when the Sun in Libra aligns with the planet of good fortune Jupiter in Leo. This combination feels lucky so enter a competition or go on a date.
Scorpio Season
There may be another reason why relationships are important this month and that’s money. Scorpio season starts officially on the 23rd when the Sun enters Scorpio and your joint finance sector. Yet, you’re wise not to put off money matters until then.
This is because of two other key planets moving through Scorpio and your joint finance sector. Talk planet Mercury is here throughout October and the planet of relating Venus is in Scorpio up until the 25th.
Consider why joint finances are under the cosmic spotlight. Perhaps, you’re investing in property or dealing with an inheritance. Or you’re working out how to deal with debt or use your money to good effect.
Scorpio rules hidden affairs, so this could be about developments regarding sex, power or a hidden issue. Keep your cards close to your chest, be a strategist and make the right moves.
It’s an ideal month to dare to venture into hidden places and unknown territory. You could be communing with people beyond the grave or be honouring your past.
The Full Moon in Taurus on the 26th could prove pivotal as it cuts across the financial axis of your horoscope. However, with power planet Pluto involved, avoid anything corrupt and don’t get pulled into the underworld. Death and money are linked in some way this month so consider what this may mean for you.
Mars’ Power
Your ruling planet Mars is in fire sign Leo throughout October. Leo rules creativity in your horoscope, romance, children and luck. The 7th could be an exceptionally creative or lucky day when Mars aligns with innovative Uranus.
However, before then, Mars is confronted by power planet Pluto in Aquarius and your friendship and group sector on the 3rd. And, these two mighty planets both clash with talk planet Mercury on the 2nd. Therefore, be wary of what you get involved in on or around these dates.
Money could be an issue as the personal planets in Scorpio are pulled into the conflict. Love planet Venus is square Mars and Pluto on the 10th & 20th, the Sun is square Pluto on the 26th and Mercury is square Mars on the 30th.
There could be a major falling-out this month. And, as Mars is your ruling planet, you might be the one who’s expected to sort things out. Yet, ensure your actions don’t cost you dearly, either financially or emotionally.
The 16th is a positive date when Mars aligns with responsible Saturn in your star sign Aries. Make the right moves and step into a position of responsibility.
However, it’s worth noting that Mars will return to Leo next year. Therefore, whatever’s beginning now may take some time to play out or complete.
This month is the start of some major to-ing and fro-ing in the zodiac, as all three faster-moving planets, Mercury, Venus and Mars are moving into their retrograde phases. This is your cue to take your time and proceed slowly.
Venus & Mercury Retrograde
The planet of relating Venus turns retrograde on the 3rd while the planet of communication Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th. Both planets turn retrograde in Scorpio. And, both planets turn direct close to one another on November 13 & 14.
This suggests it’s an important month to reassess and review your finances. In particular, the ties and contracts you share with other people. Scorpio not only rules money in your horoscope, it’s about your emotional connections, your desires as well as your fears.
Both Venus and Mercury are planets linked to money. When they’re retrograde, it’s not the best time to make a major investment or spend a lot of money. Instead, you’re advised to wait and see what happens.
There could be delays around money or you have to play a waiting game. If you do have to sign or seal a contract, read the small print carefully. And, double check any important meetings about finances.
Perhaps, an ex is back in your life. Or a relationship situation comes full circle. Learn from the past so you don’t make the same mistakes.
Scorpio season is spooky as the veil between worlds is at its narrowest. Tune into synchronicities and listen out for coincidences. October’s astrology requires a less-direct way of being. When in doubt, stop, slow down, talk to a psychic, read between the lines.
