Friendship Vibes
It’s likely that other people could be the catalyst for excitement in your life this month. This is because action planet Mars is moving through Gemini and your friendship and group sector.
The only proviso around Mars in Gemini is that irritation levels could rise and Mars in Gemini can use words as a weapon. You may feel frustrated if friends or companions don’t tell the truth or keep changing their mind. Mars rules anger as well as action. Therefore, try not to get into heated debates, as this will quickly sap your energy.
There’s a lot happening in the world now and it is important to have your voice. Yet, at the same time, don’t keep putting yourself in a situation where tempers flare. Ensure that debates or discussions take place in a measured way.
And, you’re wise to avoid the 4th for any challenging encounters, as this is when Mars runs into wild-card Uranus. This combination is renowned for being accident-prone so don’t leap in impulsively.
Retrograde Themes
Not all your arrows will take flight immediately this month and that’s ok. There are two major reasons for this. Firstly, the planet of communication Mercury is retrograde, i.e. on go slow until the 23rd. You may change your mind a lot during this period. Or perhaps, what you want at the start of the month isn’t what you want at the end of the month.
Secondly, the planet of dreams Neptune and the planet of long-term planning Saturn both turn retrograde this month in fire sign Aries and your travel and study sector. Neptune switches direction on the 7th followed by Saturn on the 26th. Consider what’s not working out or where you may need to find out more.
Life could throw you a curveball and take you on a detour in July. A wonderful way of using the Mercury retrograde phase would be to go on holiday and seek the sun.
Inner Work
Your ruler the Sun is in water sign Cancer up until the 22nd. Cancer is the star sign before yours turning your attention inward. This is doubly true this Cancer season, as this is where the planet of the mind Mercury is retrograde.
Slow things down and don’t rush. This may be a month when you learn to pray or meditate. Or perhaps, you’re journalling or practising gratitude or affirmations.
The New Moon in Cancer on the 14th is a symbol of new beginnings. Yet, this may be linked more to inner work or a spiritual aspect to your life. It’s a special New Moon as it falls the day after the Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction on the 13th.
This is the midway point through the Mercury retrograde phase and is often a time of insight and understanding. Listen to your dreams and stay open to signs and synchronicities.
It’s a positive New Moon phase for taking time out from your everyday life to work on a piece of research or immerse yourself in a project that matters to you deeply. What are you working towards and what big dreams do you want to breathe life into between now and July 2027?
Birthday Time
The Sun moves into your star sign Leo on the 22nd heralding your birthday month, an ideal time to focus on you. The Sun joins expansive Jupiter in Leo so take centre stage and find your place to shine.
Once the Sun’s in Leo, show off your skills and talents, enjoy life and celebrate. Plus, there’s a Sun/Jupiter conjunction in your star sign on the 29th and this is often considered one of the best dates of the year.
Perhaps, there’s a specific reason why you’re wise to put your trust and faith in the universe. Or you recognise that it’s time to put yourself and your goals first. Play big, dream big and know that you have a whole year of lucky Jupiter in your star sign.
The 29th is extra special as there’s a Full Moon on this date, a symbol of celebration. This Full Moon cuts across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac adding drama and emotion to the mix.
It’s another nod towards the importance of finding the right people to work alongside. Either that or you’re getting hitched or stepping into a position of influence.
The Big Pattern
July is a significant month as this is when the modern planets are starting to work together for the first time, from the 15th to the 25th. The planets involved are Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius.
This involves your partnerships and connections, your friendship and group activities, also your thirst for adventure. What you get involved in during this period could open up a new future path in your life, linked to education, religion, politics or new ideologies.
Most importantly for you, big planet Jupiter is in Leo and joins the planetary party on the 20th/21st. Perhaps, you’re the one who’s taking charge or stepping into a leadership position.
However, there’s a possibility that you could be up against strong opposition as Jupiter in Leo is opposed by power planet Pluto in Aquarius. Events on or around these key dates – 20th/21st – may reveal more about what partnership means and the power people you’re attracting into your life.
However, Aquarius rules enemies in your life and you don’t want to do get on the wrong side of someone who can make your life trouble. Therefore, be super savvy when it comes to your one-to-ones and play a strategic game.
Mercury Retrograde Do’s & Don’ts
Remember the Mercury retrograde mantra – put off the big decisions & major investments while the communication planet is on go slow until July 23rd. Here are some top tips:
