Inner Work
It’s important this month to find a way to lessen your stress levels. You might not want to take on too much or put added pressure on yourself. This is because Mars is the planet that represents anger and Mars is in Gemini and the most hidden sector of your horoscope throughout July.
Take care that you don’t turn your anger in on yourself. If you’re feeling irritated or frustrated, find a positive outlet for your emotions. The same goes for any form of negative thinking. Do whatever you can to knock it on the head and not be overly critical of yourself.
Mars in Gemini can indicate a war of words and Mars runs into wild-card Uranus on the 4th. Hold back from speaking out and take a step back if you’re under attack. And, be wary of getting involved in an argument or dispute as it could run on.
The planet of relating Venus moves into Virgo and your communication sector on the 9th. Virgo rules siblings and neighbours in your horoscope and Venus clashes with Uranus on the 13th & Mars on the 29th. At times this month, it may be wise to keep your thoughts to yourself, especially if things could escalate and fast.
The plus side of Mars in Gemini could be that you’re working behind the scenes or you’re busy with a project which you’re not yet ready to show the world. You’re collecting your thoughts or getting your ideas together.
This fits with communication planet Mercury retrograde in your star sign Cancer up until the 23rd. The emphasis is on your inner life or taking time out to work on a creative or personal project.
Birthday Time
July is your birthday month and the Sun remains in your star sign until the 22nd. When the Sun is in Cancer, it’s your time to shine brightly and put yourself first.
Cancer season is a positive time for caring and counselling, listening and advising as your star sign is one of the emotional and empathic water signs. Whether you’re offering advice or asking for help or support, be there for other people and ensure you have people you can lean on in return.
This month’s New Moon falls in your star sign Cancer on the 14th, a symbol of new beginnings. Listen out for insights and understanding as the New Moon follows on from a Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction in Cancer on the 13th. This is the midway point of the Mercury retrograde phase and often brings something new into view.
Listen to your dreams, take note of any coincidences that occur and follow a hunch. The 13th would be a positive date to line up a heart-to-heart or emotional conversation.
Daydreamer
If you’re a typical Cancer, you probably love to day-dream and you have a vivid imagination. With the planet of the mind Mercury in Cancer throughout July, it would be a good month to dive into self-help books or a personal development course. Breathe life into your long-term dreams and goals.
Yet, not all your plans may work out this month, so be patient. Mercury’s on go slow and two planets turn retrograde this month in Aries and your career and future sector.
They are the planet of dreams Neptune on the 7th and the planet of authority Saturn on the 26th. Perhaps, you reject or say no to a future path because you’re aware it doesn’t fulfil you on an emotional or personal level. Although, as you’ll read below, the Big Pattern could be lining up a new path or direction for you.
Money & Abundance
The Sun enters Leo and your personal money sector on the 22nd where it joins the planet of opportunity Jupiter. Money is one of the key areas of your life under the gaze of the Big Pattern – see below.
In addition, the Sun is in a powerful conjunction with Jupiter on the 29th and this is often considered one of the luckiest dates of the year. It’s big astrology which suggests it may be the right time to make a big decision, especially around money and abundance.
Jupiter favours risk-taking and investing and is a reminder that luck is an attitude. When you have a big vision, a willingness to say yes to life and self-belief, then magic happens.
On the same day, the 29th, there’s a Full Moon cutting across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac adding drama and emotion to the mix. Full Moons often coincide with celebration and Jupiter favours big-hearted gestures. Be open to receiving and be generous in return.
The Big Pattern
July could be a stand-out month, when new developments or learnings could benefit your career or future path. This is because the three modern planets are starting to work together for the first time from the 15th to the 25th.
They are Uranus in Gemini and your hidden sector representing your inner voice, Neptune in Aries and your career and vocation sector and Pluto in Aquarius and your joint finance sector. Plus, expansive Jupiter in Leo and your personal money sector joins the party on the 20th & 21st.
If you hear a calling, don’t be scared of trying something different. Be unique or alternative and walk your own path. If you do experience a financial crisis or want to change direction in your career but don’t know how, try and remain philosophical. Aim to explore all the possibilities and keep your gaze on the future. This isn’t necessarily an overnight shift but a long-term project.
Perhaps, you’ve had a long-held dream about what you want to do, but you’ve not had the time to commit to your plans. Or you’ve been putting things off, because you felt scared or doubted yourself.
