Mars’ Power
Action planet Mars in Gemini and your career and vocation sector throughout July. This is often an ambitious influence encouraging you to fight for what you believe in.
Mars in Gemini is great for all forms of communication, networking, brainstorming and sharing ideas. It can be a symbol of two jobs or adding a new string to your bow.
However, as much as you might want to get ahead, it’s important to note that your ruling planet Mercury is currently retrograde, i.e. on go slow, up until the 23rd. And, Mercury is Gemini’s ruling planet.
This could suggest that someone is holding you back or you’re not able to get hold of all the information you require. Perhaps, what you want and what you need are in conflict. Or your own plans are stalled because of what other people in your life want and need.
This theme is emphasised because, from the 9th onwards, you have the planet of love and relating Venus in your star sign Virgo. This is lovely for seeking comfort and sensuality in life.
However, Venus clashes with Uranus on the 13th and Mars on the 29th. Therefore, it’s worth asking why your personal and public goals might be clashing.
Be wary on the 4th too, when Mars aligns with wild-card Uranus in Gemini. At its best, this could be revolutionary and coincide with a radical shift of direction in your career or vocational goals. Yet, Mars in Gemini can indicate a war of words and Uranus is often crazy and out of control. Only get into a fight, if you’re confident of winning.
Friends & Connections
The Sun is in caring Cancer until the 22nd and Cancer rules your friendships and group projects. You could be more active within politics or a humanitarian or environmental group.
In addition, your ruling planet Mercury is in Cancer throughout July and retrograde until the 23rd. Therefore, it’s a key month to consider your group activities. Think about which activities work for you and where you may need or want to let go and move on.
Things could come to light under the gaze of the New Moon in Cancer on the 14th. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings and you may learn more about friendship or a group connection on or around this date.
Plus, on the 13th, there’s a powerful Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction in Cancer which often coincides with insight or understanding. This is the midway point in the Mercury retrograde phase which can be revelatory or revealing. It would be an ideal date to have a heart-to-heart or emotional conversation with someone close.
Take your time acting on what you hear or learn and be aware that things may change again before Mercury is back up to speed on the 23rd. This is the date when you can act with confidence.
Feel-Good Vibes
The Sun enters Leo on the 22nd and joins expansive Jupiter in the most hidden sector of your chart. After this date, you may be wise to turn down the busy life dial, learn to chill out, relax and take it easy. Go on retreat or ensure you have some quiet time before life speeds up again.
This could be a time when you’re aware you need extra TLC (tender loving care). Or there’s someone close you’re caring for.
Tap into your dreams and the realm of your unconscious as this is where miracles could appear. On the 29th, the Sun makes a powerful conjunction with Jupiter in Leo and this is often thought of as one of the luckiest dates of the year.
This could be a spiritual or religious experience for you. Or perhaps, you receive a gift via a benefactor or good karma comes your way. Tap into your intuitive powers and lean into magic and miracles.
Also, on the 29th, there’s a Full Moon cutting across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac and this accentuates this month’s big astrology. Full Moons can coincide with drama or emotion, yet they’re often a time of celebration. Lean into gratitude and believe in the power of positive affirmation.
The Big Pattern
July is a significant month astrologically as this is when the modern planets start working together, from the 15th to the 25th. Uranus is in Gemini and your career and vocation sector, Neptune is in Aries and your joint finance sector and Pluto is in Aquarius and your work and health sector.
Plus, big planet Jupiter is pulled into the planetary pattern on the 20th & 21st. Jupiter’s in Leo and the most hidden sector of your horoscope, linked to inner work, your spiritual path and caring for others.
This can play out in different ways. However, it suggests that there may be a philosophical or personal reason why your future path is changing. For example, you could move away from the material world to pursue a spiritual purpose. Or you’re having to reorient and navigate your way forward carefully if your work or financial situation is changing.
Air signs, like Gemini & Aquarius, represent society and this combination could be about improving your community or your neighbourhood and this benefits everyone financially. Perhaps, you start a petition for better public transport or lead a community group to save your local library or community centre. You could use this powerful planetary pattern to your benefit and become a voice of the people.
