This month, talk planet Mercury leaves Aries on the 3rd. However, your ruling planet Mars remains in Aries until the 18th. Therefore, you’re wise to put your energy and drive into the basics of life. Apply for a new job, rework your routine, up your fitness levels, join a union.
Whatever’s foreground for you, Mars is encouraging you to get things moving. Do so and this could carry you forward over the next few years.
Taurus Season
It’s not only about work and routine this month as close relationships are part of May’s planetary package. There’s a possibility that love could be an area of transformation in your life.
This is because the Sun is in Taurus and your relationship sector until the 21st. Talk planet Mercury is here from the 3rd to the 17th and your ruler Mars moves into Taurus on the 18th. Therefore, it’s an ideal time to turn your attention towards your one-to-ones and this may be important not only in love but business too.
The Full Moon on the 1st falls in your star sign Scorpio, highlighting the personal axis of your horoscope. It’s an intense and deep Full Moon for you, purging and releasing. Consider what you want or need to let go of. It could be a pivotal date for a close relationship.
Also, on the 11th & 13th, the Sun and Mercury in Taurus team up with lovely Jupiter in Cancer and your travel and study sector. This would be an ideal time to expand your horizons with your partner by your side. Alternatively, you’re more likely to find love when you move out of your comfort zone.
The focus on the star sign Taurus continues as this is where the New Moon falls on the 16th, a symbol of new beginnings. This is an excellent date to set your intentions around love and partnership. Or start over in a relationship.
Yet, it’s important to note what you may need to leave behind to fully embrace a partnership in your life. A pivotal date for you is the 26th when your co-rulers, Mars in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius clash.
Aquarius is the star sign at the base of your horoscope linked to your past and your legacy. This could indicate closing a door on the past and saying yes to a new chapter in your life that involves someone special.
Or perhaps, you have opposition from family or loved ones regarding what you’re doing personally or professionally.
Something has to give and you may have to decide where your priorities lie. Who or what are you leaving behind? Where are you ready to make a commitment to your future?
May could turn out to be a month of major events. Change in one area can impact other areas of your life. Yet, as you stride boldly forward, recognise the people who are there for you and the ones who won’t let you fall even when things don’t work out.
Gemini Season
Gemini rules one of the hidden sectors of your horoscope, linked to money and taboo topics, such as death and rebirth, sex and power. The planet of relating Venus is in Gemini until the 19th. Then, the Sun enters Gemini on the 21st and talk planet Mercury enters Gemini a few days earlier on the 17th.
Gemini highlights areas of life you may know well if you’re a true Scorpio. You’re one of two star signs linked to money, the other being Taurus. Your star sign is linked to the stock market and trading. Also, sex and regeneration, death and renewal are Scorpio themes.
Where is obsession drawing you this month, what are you exploring or diving deep into? Gemini is the star sign linked to communication and Scorpio rules the psyche. This might be inner work, therapy or the metaphysical or esoteric realm.
Gemini rules money in your horoscope, especially joint finances, mortgages, loans, inheritance, debts and savings. And, there’s another key planet here, Uranus, the planet of change.
Plus, on the 18th & 22nd, there are two conjunctions involving Mercury-Uranus and the Sun-Uranus in Gemini. This is wild-card energy and can encourage spontaneous and impulsive behaviour.
Uranus is an unpredictable planetary energy linked to splits and the unexpected. Perhaps, you want to go it alone financially and not rely too heavily on other people.
What takes place mid-month could help you see where to cut ties so you can become financially independent. Or an income stream comes to an abrupt end and you have to rethink your next steps and fast.
Be wary, however, as it’s not the time to take a huge financial risk when Uranus is behaving erratically.
A better date to make a clear decision about money is the 31st when there’s a Full Moon Blue Moon cutting across the financial axis of your horoscope. Use the clarity and light of the Moon to trust your intuition and balance your head and heart in making a money-related decision.
Venus Cancer
The planet of love and relating Venus moves into water sign Cancer on the 19th where she remains until mid-June.
You might be off on your travels with a loved one later in the month. Or perhaps, you’re planning a romantic break away. Love and foreign connections are linked, love and education too.
Pluto Retrograde
Pluto’s your planet. Therefore, it’s significant for you when Pluto turns retrograde, as it does this month on the 6th. You may be at a crossroads in life. If you’ve experienced any loss or crisis recently, Pluto’s a reminder that, as a Sun Scorpio, you’re one of life’s survivors.
Pluto switches direction in Aquarius, the star sign at the base of your horoscope. This is the sector which rules your home and family, your past and where you come from. Perhaps, your plans to move come to a halt or you’re having to prioritise family.
There may be a story around your past or upbringing that transforms who you are and the way you see yourself. You could be ready to lay the past to rest. Or you’re ready to start over in a new country or location.
Pluto’s theme is endings and deep psychological self-transformation. Notice if the past is holding you back in some way and consider where you may need to dive into the past. Pluto will be on go slow moving through the underworld until mid-October.
