Money Matters

Action planet Mars is strong in Capricorn and your personal money sector up until the 23rd. This is an ambitious placing for the planet of drive and ambition. It means you may be ready to up your game when it comes to earning money and dealing with finances.

Mars isn’t the only planet lighting up this sector of your horoscope. The Sun is in Capricorn until the 20th, talk planet Mercury is here from the 1st to the 20th and the planet of relating Venus is in Capricorn until the 17th.

This is a lot of activity in one sector and it suggests that there may be a few people involved in financial dealings. Perhaps, you’ve got financial meetings or negotiations lined up as soon as the year begins.

Plus, the Full Moon on the 3rd and the New Moon on the 18th both highlight the financial sectors of your horoscope. During the Full Moon at the start of the year, the cosmic spotlight is on finances whether you’re spending more or saving more. The Moon’s in Cancer during this Full Moon and your joint finance sector, another indication that this isn’t only about your money but how other people, perhaps family, are involved.

The theme of collaboration and alliances is strengthened when the planet of love and money Venus teams up with the Sun and Mars in Capricorn from the 6th to the 9th. In mythology, Venus and Mars were lovers and they make a strong team.

Therefore, take this symbolism into your own life and find the person you can partner with to boost your financial situation. You may move in with someone or set up a joint bank account. You might be keen to start a joint venture or find a business partner.

The New Moon on the 18th continues the money theme and feels dynamic. During this New Moon, a symbol of new beginnings, both action planet Mars and talk planet Mercury are next to the Sun and Moon.

This is an ideal time to walk your talk and do what you say as this adds strength and conviction to the mix. Get ahead with money matters sooner rather than later this month and set yourself some goals for the year ahead.

Aquarius Themes

As the inner planets are close together, it means they move into air sign Aquarius around the same time. This shifts the focus away from personal matters to issues within society and the wider world. 

Aquarius is the star sign linked to the collective, it’s about community and all things local. If you’re involved in a neighbourhood initiative during this period, you’re in tune with your stars.

The planet of relating Venus is the first to enter Aquarius on the 17th, followed by talk planet Mercury and the Sun on the 20th and action planet Mars on the 23rd.

This is your communication sector, ideal for marketing, promoting yourself, sales and collaboration. Reach out to other people, go viral, get online and use modern technology to find your voice.

Aquarius rules siblings and neighbours as well as other people in your local community. Get involved with other people, reach out and make new connections. Start a book, write a blog post, find your voice.

God of the underworld Pluto is a key planet in Aquarius and Pluto’s active when it teams up with all the inner planets in powerful conjunctions. The dates to note are the 20th – Venus, 22nd – Mercury, 23rd – the Sun and 27th – Mars. Often when Pluto’s involved, events are final and ultimatums are given.

Pluto represents power as well as loss and you could be taking on an influential role within society. Pluto’s theme is regeneration and transformation.

At least, that’s one alternative. You could just as easily decide to close the door on a problem or issue that’s not going away and you realise that the best solution is to take a step back. This could be linked to an issue with a sibling or neighbour or an argument that’s not dying down.

Saturn-Uranus

There’s another strong planetary influence this month as one of the major planetary aspects of 2025 completes on the 20th. This involves the planet of responsibility and authority Saturn in Pisces and your home and family sector, also the planet of change and innovation Uranus in Taurus and your work and health sector.

These two planets met together in 2025 on April 4 & August 12. Therefore, events now may be linked to what was happening back then, bringing a sense of completion or resolution in the areas mentioned.

You might be thinking about what next or want to change things around to suit you better. You might be working from home or be thinking about not working from home. Either way, it’s about ringing the changes and saying yes to moving on and doing things differently. 

If you’re a true Sagittarius, you don’t enjoy life when it’s routine or humdrum. Yet, this combination isn’t about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. It’s about building on what you already have in place to create something new and different.

Neptune Enters Aries

On the 26th, the planet of dreams and the imagination Neptune leaves behind Pisces and the star sign at the base of your horoscope and enters fire sign Aries. Pisces is your home and family sector and Neptune’s been in Pisces since 2011 except for a few months last year when Neptune dipped its toe into Aries from March 30 to October 22, 205.

This year, Neptune returns to Aries where it will take up residence until 2038/2039. This may bring a significant shift for you regarding your home and family. This is the area of your life Pisces rules whereas Aries rules children and pregnancy. What are you letting go of so that you can create new beginnings moving forward? Perhaps, it’s about prioritising a child or children and putting their needs first.

Whatever this theme means for you, lean into your dreams and what you want for yourself and your loved ones. There’s going to be major activity taking place in Aries next month offering you an opportunity to manifest or create what it is that you desire.
