Aries Season
The Sun is in your fellow fire sign Aries up until the 19th. This is good news for you as you are one of the fun-loving, motivated fire signs. This means that you’re likely to feel in your element. Plus, the Sun in Aries teams up with your ruling planet Jupiter in Gemini on the 6th. This combination is gorgeous for love and teaming up with the right people for answers and/or adventure. Trust your luck on the 6th and take a leap of faith.
Mercury Turns Direct
Plus, this month brings two important turning points and the first falls on the 7th. This is when the planet of communication Mercury turns direct after being retrograde since March 15th. It’s been a chaotic Mercury retrograde phase so you may be delighted to feel as if you’re getting back on track.
Sometimes, news or information comes to light on the day Mercury switches direction. You may hear from someone who’s been quiet or communication arrives ending a delay. Mercury turns direct in Pisces and your home and family sector.
Therefore, it’s a good time to reach out to the ones you love and set plans in motion. Reopen the lines of communication, make another bid on a property or start afresh with a DIY project.
Venus Turns Direct/Full Moon
The other turning point comes approximately a week later when the planet of love and money Venus turns direct after six weeks retrograde on the 13th. Like Mercury, Venus turns direct in Pisces and your home and family sector.
Therefore, events mid-month could bring a turning point that offers you relief or pleasure. Or perhaps, your property sells or you find your dream home.
It would be a good time to hold out the olive branch of peace or begin to heal a rift. Put your ego out of the way and take on a protective role if necessary.
The 7th & 13th may prove to be significant dates this month, helping you let go in some way or find answers. Sometimes, life brings a reminder that holding on too tight rarely favours close relationships.
On the same day that Venus turns direct, the 13th, there’s a powerful Full Moon cutting across the Libra/Aries axis of the zodiac. This could be a celebratory Full Moon for you as Aries and Libra rule the social sectors of your horoscope.
This might be a passionate time for romance. Alternatively, you may be celebrating a child’s success. Or you’re enjoying life with your friends. Make the most of this Full Moon phase and be around the people you love.
There’s a lightness when planets are in Libra, the star sign linked to relating. This is a positive influence for social events and bringing people together. Make the most of this and ensure you have a healthy work/life balance and that you prioritise the good things in life, whatever makes you happy.
Taurus Season/New Moon
The Sun’s move into Taurus on the 19th could slow things down or bring you back to the serious side of life. This might include dealing with a job or ongoing project.
This is because Taurus rules work and health in your horoscope. It’s about the basics of life, paying the bills and looking after your mind, body and soul.
If the work/life balance is out in any way, return to healthy habits and focus on finances and getting your money situation in order. It may be wise to wear your sensible hat as the month comes to a close.
Use the New Moon in Taurus on the 27th to set your intentions and start afresh.
Mars’ Power
There’s another planet to take note of this month, Mars, the planet of active, drive and ambition. Mars is in Cancer and your joint finance sector up until the 18th. This is where Mars has been on and off since September 2024.
You may have been dealing with urgent or important financial transactions. Or perhaps, you’ve had to be bold and courageous around money matters.
On the 18th, Mars returns to fire sign Leo where it was in the last two months of 2024. Leo rules travel and study in your horoscope. It’s about the bigger picture, your beliefs and where you find meaning and purpose. You may feel more motivated to get things done when Mars is in Leo and want to play an active role within society or the world.
You could step into an activist role in the last ten days of April and this might not make you popular. Perhaps, you’re involved with the unions or you’re fighting for other people’s rights.
The major clash comes on the 27th, the same day as the New Moon. This is when Mars opposes power planet Pluto in Aquarius and your community sector. You may be up against the authorities on this date and it’s wise to tread carefully as Pluto’s a strong opponent.
Events at the end of April could link back to what started early November 2024 or at the beginning of this year, 2025. If there’s an ongoing conflict or crisis in your life, this is when things could flare up again. Or perhaps, there’s an ultimatum which brings a situation to a close.
