The Sun is in fire sign Aries until the 19th. Aries rules your home and family, your past and where you come from. It’s the star sign at the base of your horoscope, what roots you and keeps you grounded.
Therefore, it’s wise to ask yourself why this area of your life is currently under the cosmic spotlight. You might be asking other people for support at home or you may be helping out more than usual with family. Alternatively, perhaps you have plans for your home or the place you live.
This would be a good time to make lists to ensure nothing gets dropped or forgotten. It’s been a chaotic time recently and you may feel as if you’re playing a waiting game. There’s potential to get a lot done, but it’s likely to be busy too.
Mercury Turns Direct
What’s helpful is that there are two key turning points this month. Firstly, communication planet Mercury turns direct on the 7th.
Mercury turned retrograde in Aries on March 15th and turns direct in Pisces and your communication sector. Mercury retrograde in your communication sector is a double whammy of potential communication chaos.
Therefore, the 7th is likely to be a positive green light for you. Listen out for news or information that comes to light and re-open the lines of communication. Pisces rules siblings and neighbours in your horoscope, also transport and connections. Get things fixed and start to try and reach an agreement.
Mercury moves back into Aries on the 16th, an ideal time to get things moving around your home, family or a property deal. Mercury in Aries is motor mouth, a speedy and direct influence.
Venus Turns Direct/Full Moon
The other turning point comes almost a week later on the 13th when the planet of love and money Venus turns direct after six weeks retrograde. Venus has been on go slow since March 2nd.
Like Mercury, Venus turns direct in Pisces and your communication and community sector. There may have been issues with a sibling, relative or neighbour recently. Or perhaps, you’ve been missing local support or a community vibe. There may be one person in particular you want to get to know better but it’s been a time of misunderstandings or missed opportunities.
Venus turning direct in Pisces is a reminder to practise forgiveness, reach out to other people and reconnect. There may be a strong link to your past during this period. Note what happens on or around the 7th & 25th when Venus aligns with your ruling planet Saturn. These combinations favour commitment and making key agreements.
On the same day as Venus turns direct, the 13th, there’s a powerful Full Moon in Libra and your career and vocation sector. This Full Moon cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac highlighting the foundations of your life. You may be acutely aware of the work/life balance. Or perhaps, you feel pulled in different directions.
This would be a positive time to make an intuitive decision around work and home. Consider what needs to change so you feel you’re moving in the right direction. There may be different aspects of your life to weigh up, perhaps financial or emotional.
During April, create systems in your life that work, use your networks and connections to help the ones you love and bring people together in your life in the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration.
New Love & Good Times/New Moon
On the 19th, the Sun moves into your fellow earth sign Taurus and one of the playful sectors of your horoscope. When planets are in Taurus, you attract fun people into your life and you instinctively veer towards activities or work that stimulate you.
Taurus rules a positive sector of your horoscope. It’s about play rather than work and the things you enjoy doing and the people you enjoy being with. This includes lovers as well as children, creative projects, entertainment and social activities.
There’s a lucky vibe when planets are in Taurus so maximise your potential and believe that anything’s possible. Be more social and do more of what you love.
The New Moon falls in Taurus on the 27th, an ideal date for romance or lining up some good times. What takes place towards the end of the month could be linked to events which play out on the 4th/5th, a positive couple of days for relationships, creative projects and community ventures.
Mars’ Clash
There is a proviso, however, because of what’s happening with action planet Mars. Up until the 18th, Mars is in your opposite star sign Cancer where it’s been on and off since September 2024. Therefore, it’s worth considering who’s been important in your life since then.
You may have been involved in an intimate relationship or a joint business venture. Perhaps, it’s been a rocky time for one particular relationship in your life.
On the 18th, Mars moves into fire sign Leo and your joint finance sector. This is where Mars turned retrograde on December 6 2024. Mars likes to be in Leo where it’s confident and strong and it’s wise to be bold and courageous when it comes to money. However, it may be that not all financial dealings will work out well.
This is because Mars clashes with power planet Pluto in Aquarius and your personal money sector on the 27th, the same day as the New Moon. These two planets have faced up to one another twice before on November 3, 2024 and January 3, 2025.
It could mean the end of a conflict situation or financial crisis that’s been ongoing over the last six months. Alternatively, you may be up against the authorities or recognise that it’s time to cut your losses and run. Do whatever’s right for you and don’t be pushed into making a decision that won’t benefit you in the long run.
