Gemini Season
Home and family affairs are foreground for most of June as the Sun is in Gemini and this sector of your horoscope until the 21st.
Use the Sun’s move through Gemini to open the lines of communication around home and family affairs. Ask for what you want and need, negotiate with family and work together as a team. Initiate new strategies or projects at home, whether you’re on the verge of moving or your family situation is changing.
The New Moon falls in Gemini on the 15th, an ideal date to start a home or family-related project. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings so reach out, heal a rift and start over. Take the initiative on this New Moon and set your intentions around home and family affairs.
Even though Gemini season ends on the 21st, there’s still strong emphasis on the star sign at the base of your horoscope for two reasons.
Firstly, action planet Mars moves into Gemini on the 28th where it will remain until August 11. Mars brings drive and speed to the mix and is an ambitious and determined influence. Perhaps, you’ve got the builders in or there’s a lot of noise at home. Sometimes, where Mars goes, there’s a sense of urgency to get things moving and fast.
Plus, innovative wild-card Uranus is now in Gemini where it will remain for the next seven years. This is often a time when you’re on the move, people leave home or you’re ready to embrace change. It’s not a settled energy by any means and you’re wise to pay close attention to what’s happening at home and within your family.
Cancer Season
The Sun enters your fellow water sign Cancer on the 21st, the day of the Solstice. The Solstice is a significant marker in the year, the mid-way point.
It’s an ideal time to stop and reflect on the year so far, what you’ve achieved and where you may need to reorient your compass moving forward. This is a lovely date to honour the Sun, burn candles or light a fire or go somewhere special to witness sunrise or sunset.
Cancer is the dominant star sign this month and you’re often in your element when planets are in the same element as your star sign. Talk planet Mercury enters Cancer on the 1st and will remain here for an unusually long time until August 9.
Immediately, this tells you that Mercury’s about to enter its next retrograde phase which takes place from June 29 to July 23. You may take a trip back into your past. Or perhaps, you’re planning a staycation or want to spend more time with your kids. It’s a positive Mercury retrograde phase to immerse yourself in a creative project.
When planets are in Cancer, it’s an ideal time to do more of what you love, prioritise play and go with the flow. Cancer is a caring and soulful star sign. This could coincide with a love affair or happiness surrounding a child or pregnancy. Or you’re having fun and you feel entertained by life.
There are two more planets in Cancer this month. Firstly, the planet of love and money Venus is in Cancer until the 13th, a gorgeous symbol for falling in love.
Plus, your ruling planet Jupiter is completing its journey through Cancer where it’s been since June 2025. Has it been a more creative year for you? Did you fall in love or celebrate a pregnancy or new family coming together?
Things could peak this month, especially on or around the 9th, when there’s a glorious Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer. This is significant for you because these are the two best planets coming together. When these two planets are side by side this feels lucky and can bring good fortune your way.
Perhaps, you win a competition or you’re celebrating a child’s achievement. It really can be special so breathe life and energy into this ‘big love, big money’ combination and be open to attracting more love and abundance into your life.
Finally, the Full Moon on the 30th cuts across the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the zodiac and the social sectors of your horoscope. Full Moons are often a time of completion or culmination and this Full Moon is ideal for making a decision around friendship or a protective role.

Venus/Jupiter Leo
Venus and Jupiter are working well together this month. On the 13th, Venus enters fire sign Leo leading the way for Jupiter’s epic move into Leo on the 30th. It takes lucky Jupiter twelve years to circuit the zodiac and Jupiter spends one year in each of the twelve star signs.
On the one hand, this is a shift from play to work as Leo rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and health. Work may be getting more of a look in as Jupiter continues its journey through Leo over the next twelve months. This is where Jupiter will remain until July 26, 2027.
At its best, this combination could give you extra get-up-and-go. Over the next year, you may find the ideal job that frees up your time or you fall in love with volunteering. Or you decide to take part in activities and develop daily habits which boost your health and well-being.
The one proviso is to take care that you don’t over-commit yourself, even if work is plentiful. Jupiter’s the planet of growth and expansion and sometimes you’re full-on when Jupiter’s in the work and lifestyle sector of your horoscope.
Yet, play your cards right and your work, health and routine could be zinging with life and vitality if you make the right moves moving forward.
