Inner Work
As October begins, your ruling planet Venus is in earth sign Virgo and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Venus will remain in Virgo until the 13th.
Traditionally, when planets are is in this sector of your horoscope, it’s a time for rest and retreat. Inner work is recommended and you may be undergoing a phase where you’re caring for yourself or other people more than usual.
Or perhaps, you’re preparing for a new stage in life. If your mind is overly active, it’s wise to find a way to stop and slow down, to quieten your mind. Nature is one way of restoring calm and balance, ensuring you take regular exercise or you head out into the countryside.
The 8th could be a stand-out date when you’re wise to trust yourself and listen to your intuition. Do so and you could take a big leap in your career or on your future path.
Restoring Balance
Being a Libra, you fare best when life is balanced and harmonious. Therefore, you may find that your spirits lift with the Sun in your star sign Libra until the 23rd. This is your birthday season and the Sun represents vitality and warmth. The Sun’s move through Libra can add confidence and energy to your personal tool box.
It’s your signal to get back out in the world if you’ve been tucked away. Show off your talents and skills and let other people see what you have to offer. Be true to who you are and win over other people with your charm and diplomacy.
Also this month, your ruling planet Venus enters Libra on the 13th. Venus in Libra is lovely for popularity and attracting who and what you want into your life. You’re more likely to see the glass half full when Venus is in your star sign and it can be a promising time for love.
Venus rules beauty. Therefore, this would be an ideal time to consider your appearance or think about the way you come across to other people. If you’re getting ready to start a new job or role, how do you want to look, how do you want to be seen?

Both the Full Moon and New Moon this month highlight your star sign Libra. Firstly, the Full Moon on the 7th cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac highlighting the personal axis of your horoscope.
This could be a pivotal Full Moon for your one-to-one relationships. The light of the Moon is at its brightest during the Full Moon phase and you often see your situation with clarity. If a relationship’s to work well for you, you need a best friend as well as a lover.
Full Moons can be dramatic and a time when emotions are heightened. Yet, they’re wonderful for celebration and enjoying yourself.
The air signs – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius – dominate on the 14th when your ruling planet Venus creates a Grand Air Trine with Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius. This link the personal, creative and inspirational sectors of your horoscope. It would be a wonderful time to enjoy your social life to the max and work your connections.
Plus, there’s a New Moon in Libra on the 21st, a symbol of new beginnings. This is the ideal date to set your intentions, not only for the month ahead but the year ahead as well.
It’s your personal astrological New Year. Therefore, this would be a positive date to launch a website or start a new personal venture.
Money Matters
Money matters are under the cosmic spotlight throughout October and this is because of what’s happening in Scorpio and your personal money sector. Scorpio season starts officially on the 23rd but there are two other important planets highlighting money matters.
Firstly, talk planet Mercury’s in Scorpio from the 6th to the 29th encouraging you to do your sums and negotiate well. Mercury in Scorpio wants you to talk about money and values and go in deep.
Secondly, action planet Mars is in Scorpio throughout October. This is great for getting things moving, whether you want to crack on with financial dealings or you’re keen to earn more money.
Mars is the planet of drive and ambition. Whatever money opportunity comes your way when Mars is in Scorpio, it’s a good time to say yes, sign a contract or push for a deal. If you want to put up your prices or promote your services, this is strong, dynamic planetary energy.
The Scorpio activity peaks on the 20th when there’s a powerful Mercury-Mars conjunction, an ideal date to walk your talk and ask for what you want. Be powerful and strong and know your value. When your self-worth is in place, then you can get paid what you deserve.
Plus, in the last week of October, there are two powerful Grand Water Trines involving Mercury and Mars in Scorpio with Jupiter in Cancer and your career and future sector and Saturn in Pisces and your work and lifestyle sector.
Put all this together and new opportunity could open up for you. It’s an ideal time to play big and get real about what you want to achieve. Contact people of influence or someone in a position of power.
Use your connections and your emotional intelligence to win over other people. What you get involved in could be exciting as you find yourself in step with the zeitgeist or a powerful symbol of the times we’re living in.
However, be aware that communication planet Mercury is slowing down towards the end of October. This is because Mercury will turn retrograde in Sagittarius on November 9th and returns to Scorpio on November 19th. Another good reason to talk money and aim high before Mercury switches direction. And, note that some negotiations could take longer than expected.
Neptune Returns To Pisces
Last month, get real planet Saturn returned to Pisces, the last star sign on September 1st. This month, Neptune returns to Pisces on the 22nd and both planets are going back to complete something they started previously. Saturn entered Pisces in March 2023 and Neptune entered Pisces back in 2011.
Both planets will move into a new star sign early 2026. Therefore, considering what’s shifting or completing over the next three months. Pisces is your work and health sector.
Perhaps, a job or contract could come to an end. Or you’re returning to a volunteering role as Pisces is a compassionate and caring water sign. Pisces rules employees, lodgers and pets in your horoscope, more food for thought.
Also, health falls under the Pisces umbrella so you may be back on a health kick, even if it’s something as straightforward as drinking more water. Or you’re completing a health treatment or preparing to come off medication.
Neptune rules drugs so be wary of numbing out or anaesthetising overly. Pisces wants to surrender, release and let go and this could be your opportunity to use your emotions to heal and soothe your soul.
Pluto Turns Direct
The slowest-moving planet Pluto turns direct in Aquarius, the star sign linked to technology, equality and the collective on the 14th. Pluto’s the planet of transformation and deep psychological change.
Pluto’s change of direction in Aquarius could be the ideal time to let go and resolve any past regrets or resentment. If you’re a typical Libra, you tend to avoid conflict but you might be wise to deal with a situation head-on.
Consider what you want regarding children, romance, fun and creativity. These are the key areas where Pluto may transform your life.
