Love is under the cosmic spotlight with Venus in Aries. If you’re looking for love, this is a go-for-it time as Venus in your relationship sector is red-hot. A direct approach is favoured so don’t wait for someone else to proposition you. Be forthcoming and turn on the charm.
The 2nd and 6th are promising dates for love and romance. Perhaps, you’re returning to a past love or a relationship which went quiet sparks back into life.
While Venus is in Aries, you may need to put yourself first, especially if you’re lacking balance in a close relationship. Or perhaps, it’s important to assert yourself around other people.
One of your Libra life lessons is learning to say no as you’re a people pleaser by nature. You don’t like to upset others. Consider the balance of power in your one-to-one’s. If it’s out, be forthright and do whatever’s necessary to regain equilibrium.
Alternatively, you might take on a new role this month answering other peoples’ questions, perhaps as a coach, mediator or adviser. There’s going to be a pull towards other people and this intensifies throughout the month.
The other important planet moving into Aries is Saturn, the planet of endings and commitment. Wherever Saturn goes, there can be a ‘commit or quit’ theme. This could go either way, depending on your personal situation.
A joint venture or business partnership could come to an end. Or a personal relationship reaches a critical point and you have to decide whether you’re in or out. There may be extra responsibilities around your partnerships moving forward and the real possibility of finalising a marriage or contract.
Social Circle
As a Sun Libra, you’re a social person and this could be more evident for you throughout May with the inner planets moving forward again in lively, dynamic fire signs. Action planet Mars is back up to speed this month and moving through Leo and your friendship and group sector.
You may have more social events to attend. Or perhaps, you’re making new friends and catching up with old friends. It would be a great month for a school reunion or arrange a get-together with friends at a festival or a trip away.
This may link back to what was started in the last two months of 2024. Mars in Leo is a strong symbol for joining a protest or demonstration. Align yourself with other people who share the same values or beliefs.
Venus and Mars are the lovers of the heavens and they unite on the 22nd. Therefore, love and friendship could be linked. This vibe will grow stronger as the month continues so get in touch with your passionate nature and pursue the right relationships.
Money Moves
Money, possessions, values and self-worth are foreground for most of this month. This is because the Sun is in earth sign Taurus until the 20th and communication planet Mercury is in Taurus from the 10th to the 26th. Earth signs, like Taurus, favour financial and emotional security and you’re wise to turn your attention towards money matters.
This is important because the planet of change and the unexpected Uranus is active in Taurus on the 17th and 24th when it aligns with the Sun and Mercury. This is rarely a stable influence on your finances. Sometimes, you can make money fast, even overnight, but you may see losses as well as wins.
This fast-paced planetary activity peaks during the Full Moon on the 12th which cuts across the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac and the financial axis of your horoscope. This is big planetary energy, emotional, volatile and exciting.
Taking a risk, playing big in life could reap rewards on or around this date. You might be able to take advantage of a changing financial market or find that money comes your way unexpectedly.
It is lively astrology, however, so be aware that a high risk strategy won’t always pay off. If you want to speculate, ensure you can afford to lose what you invest before leaping into action.
Gemini Season
You may have your eyes on distant horizons later this month. This is because the Sun is in your fellow air sign Gemini from the 20th onwards, ruling your travel and study sector. Plus, communication planet Mercury joins the Sun in Gemini on the 26th.
You may be exploring higher education or be looking into an adult education course. This is because Gemini’s the star sign linked to communication, learning and study.
This is about travel too and stepping out of your comfort zone to go somewhere new or different. Or perhaps, you’re combining travel and learning on a holiday study course or teaching a workshop.
The New Moon in Gemini on the 27th would be the ideal date to book a city break or decide on your next holiday. The New Moon is linked to new beginnings and being proactive.
It’s an excellent New Moon to accept a university place or take on a role that has foreign connections. Be a citizen of the world and explore your beliefs, your faith or philosophy.
The 30th is another stand-out date for communication, education and broadening your horizons when the Sun and Mercury align in a lucky cazimi conjunction.
Pluto Retrograde
Power planet Pluto turns retrograde in Aquarius on the 4th and this is an ideal time to let go and resolve any past regrets or resentment. Work at releasing what no longer serves you.
Pluto will be retrograde until mid-October encouraging you to consider what you want long-term regarding children, romance, fun and creativity. These are the key areas where Pluto may transform your life.
