Virgo Season
It’s an important month to focus on finances and realise what money means to you. This is partly because your ruler the Sun is in Virgo and your personal money sector until the 22nd, an ideal time to balance the books, be grateful for what you have and not waste precious resources. Reap your harvest.
The other key planet in Virgo is communication planet Mercury which joins the Sun here from the 2nd to the 18th. Mercury in Virgo is ideal for dealing with facts and figures and doing your sums.
The Sun and Mercury come together in a powerful cazimi conjunction in Virgo on the 13th. This period in the month is potentially lucky as both planets connect with Jupiter in emotional Cancer and the most hidden sector of your horoscope on the 12th. Someone from your past could come back to help you. Or property or family finances boost your financial portfolio.
The other planet to move into Virgo is Venus linked to love and money. On the 19th, she joins the Virgo gang, an ideal time to treat yourself and others. However, wait until the eclipses settle before leaping in.
Eclipse Month
This is likely to be a big month because of two eclipses. Eclipses are often powerful events for you because they involve your ruler the Sun in relationship to the Moon. What’s hidden often comes to light when eclipses take place. They coincide with dramatic events or the unexpected, the things in life you didn’t see coming.
Plus, both eclipses cut across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac and your financial sectors. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on the 7th falls in Pisces and the New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 21st takes place in Virgo. Virgo’s your personal money sector while Pisces rules joint finances and all kinds of money transactions..
So it’s here where change is likely whether you’re in the process of negotiating a financial settlement, you’re reviewing your finances or your earnings or outgoings are about to change significantly.
This is the middle of a two year chapter when your money and the money you share with others is undergoing significant change. The Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle began in September 2024 and will end in February 2027.
Eclipses can symbolise things coming to an end so consider what this may mean for you, especially on the Solar Eclipse in Virgo on the 21st. This follows on from a New Moon in Virgo on August 23rd and there’s a theme of endings and beginnings.
This is the only Solar Eclipse in the whole Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle. Usually, this is about accelerated growth and turbo power. However, this eclipse is opposed by Saturn, the planet of limitation and obstacles.
Perhaps, there’s someone in your life who’s not playing by the rules or sharing equally. There’s a shadowy feel to eclipses, so be wary of getting involved in anything underhand. Money is one area of your life that could prove contentious but sex, power and taboo issues are also under the cosmic spotlight.
As eclipses often coincide with change, you might be shifting your money mindset or want to do things differently regarding your future security and your financial situation.
Libra Season
Throughout September, there’s a strong emphasis on the star sign Libra and your communication sector. Action planet Mars is here until the 22nd when it hands over the Libra baton to your ruler the Sun. This takes place on the day of the Equinox. Plus, talk planet Mercury’s in Libra from the 18th onwards. Therefore, it’s important to reach out to other people, to connect, talk and brainstorm new ideas.
Libra rules siblings and neighbours in your horoscope, also your local community. These are the key areas of your life to be pro-active, take the initiative and make things happen. It’s positive astrology for writing and speaking, podcasting and teaching. Libra is the diplomat, mediator and go-between.
It’s important that you know who your allies are this month and that you’re part of a loving community.
If you’re looking for love, ask for an introduction via a friend on the 16th. This is the day when the lovers of the heavens Venus and Mars unite. Lovely Venus is in your star sign Leo until the 19th so make the most of it to boost your popularity.
Mars Power
From the 22nd onwards, you may be more involved in home or property matters. Or perhaps, family need your time and attention. This is when action planet Mars moves into Scorpio, one of the emotional water signs. It’s important that you trust your intuition and instincts when it comes to home and family affairs.
The trickiest aspect is a clash between Mars in Scorpio and Pluto in Aquarius and your relationship sector on the 24th. This combination is ruthless and could flag up a power grab. You may clash over property plans or a family business.
There’s intensity here and September’s likely to be a month when your emotions are more attached or activated than usual. You could feel strongly about people, events and personal matters. Relationships could hit fever pitch, so keep tight hold on both your money and your emotions.
