Gemini Season
Your ruler the Sun is in Gemini until the 21st. Gemini rules your friends, social connections, your networks and group interactions. This confirms that June is a month when people matter to you and you’re wise to extend your reach and make the most of the people in your life.
This will mean different things to you depending on your situation. Know that this is a good time to engage with other people, whether you’re expanding a business or you’re ready for more fun and laughter. You could be embarking on a social mission or want to have your say in politics, the environment or humanitarian concerns.
The New Moon in Gemini on the 15th would be an excellent date to join a new group or launch a social project. It favours meetings, new ideas and reaching out to people of influence.
Once the Sun leaves Gemini, this doesn’t mean this sector of your horoscope is no longer active. In fact, from the 28th, you have action planet Mars taking up the Gemini baton where it remains until August 11. Friends and groups remain under the cosmic spotlight moving forward so align yourself with the right kind of people.
Plus, wild-card Uranus is now in Gemini for the next seven years. This combination favours groups, working within society and finding your place within the collective.
Cancer Season
On the day of the Solstice, the 21st, the Sun enters Cancer and the star sign before yours. This is a cosmic cue to slow down the pace and be kind to yourself and others. Let go of what’s not working out and consider whether you need more rest or relaxation.
Traditionally, this is a time to wrap things up and prepare yourself for a new phase. Cancer is a caring star sign, emotional and giving. This could be a time when you’re aware you need extra TLC. Or perhaps, there’s someone close you’re caring for.
The Solstice date is important as this is the mid-way point of the year. It’s an ideal time to honour the Sun your ruler by lighting candles or a fire. Or perhaps, you visit Stonehenge or another beautiful spot to witness the sun rising or setting. Stop and reflect on the year so far, what you’ve achieved and where you may need to reorient your compass moving forward.
In addition, talk planet Mercury will be in Cancer from the 1st to August 9. This tells you that Mercury’s heading for its next retrograde phase which takes place from June 29 to July 23.
Mercury will be on go slow in the most private sector of your horoscope, an ideal time for rest and retreat, to take a staycation or commune with your inner voice.
Tap into your dreams and the realm of your unconscious as this is where miracles could appear. On the 9th, the planet of love and money Venus aligns with Jupiter in Cancer and this is often thought of as one of the luckiest dates of the year.
For you, this feels spiritual or religious. Or perhaps, you receive a gift via a benefactor or good karma comes your way. Switch the busy dial of life off as much as possible and tap into your intuitive powers.
There’s no need to rush this month and the stars are encouraging you to slow down and find your flow. The Full Moon on the 30th highlights work and routine, health and service to others. It’s an ideal date to ask for what you want or need. Get the right health diagnosis or firm up plans for a job or volunteering role.
Look out for the person who cares for you the most, someone you can lean on and who brings comfort to you. This may be a counsellor or carer. Alternatively, you may be the one taking on this role in another person’s life.
Venus/Jupiter Leo
The two best planets Venus and Jupiter are working well together in June. And, most importantly for you, they both enter your star sign Leo. Venus is first on the 13th, her annual visit to your star sign, which continues until July 9. Make the most of Venus in Leo as it’s often a time when you’re popular and you can attract who and what you want into your life.
Venus is leading the way for Jupiter’s epic move into Leo on the 30th. Jupiter’s the planet of luck, opportunity and good fortune which spells good news for you. You’ll have the biggest and best planet in Leo until July 26, 2027.
Jupiter takes approximately twelve years to circuit the zodiac so this significant event doesn’t happen every year. In fact, you’ve had to wait some time to enjoy Jupiter’s bounty in your star sign. Think back to 2014/2015, the previous time Jupiter was in Leo.
Jupiter’s the planet of freedom, allowing you to let go of ties that bind you and anything or anyone who holds you back in life. When Jupiter’s in full flow, you want to see the world and save the world. Jupiter rules travel, education, spirituality, philosophy and philanthropic activities – take your pick.
