Aquarius Season – Solar Eclipse
Love may be foreground this month as a host of planets are in Aquarius and your relationship sector. Talk planet Mercury is here until the 6th, the planet of love Venus is in Aquarius until the 10th and your ruler the Sun is in Aquarius until the 18th.
Plus, passion planet Mars is in your relationship sector throughout February. This puts the focus on all forms of partnership in your life.
The 1st could be a stand-out date for you. This is when there’s a Full Moon in your star sign Leo, a powerful time to trust your intuition around your one-to-ones to ensure your needs are met. This is potentially romantic but dramatic too as Full Moons heighten emotions.
There’s another reason why relationships are foreground not only now but over the next two years. This is because of a new eclipse cycle which begins this month and cuts across the star signs Leo and Aquarius. Leo is your personal sector and Aquarius is your partnership sector.
This eclipse cycle will continue until January 2028 and it’s often a time when significant change kicks in. Plus, nearly all of the eclipses in this cycle are Solar Eclipses, i.e. turbo-powered New Moons.
This is often a time of accelerated growth when things happen quickly and people coming into your life turn things around and fast. The first Solar Eclipse takes place in Aquarius on the 17th so notice who’s around you and who’s calling the shots.
This eclipse is especially lively as it pulls in wild-card Uranus, one of your partner planets. Both the Sun and Moon are square to Uranus during the eclipse and Uranus is unusually active throughout the month.
The planet of change is completing its journey through Taurus and your career and vocation sector over the next couple of months. Uranus turns direct this month on the 4th and is square all the inner planets on the 5th, 8th, 16th & 27th.
This may mean that you’re not the one in control. Someone else may have the upper hand and it’s their decisions which mean your life has to change. The current astrology suggests that your love life could be going through a significant period of transformation.
Also, people are going to matter to you more than usual now. This is about your intimate one-to-ones, your business partnerships and joint ventures. In fact, all significant others in your life, e.g. a coach, physical trainer, accountant or adviser.
If you’re in a relationship or married, it could be events in your partner’s life that are the reason why you may need to reorient your compass regarding your future path.
Pisces Season – Mercury Retrograde
Your ruler the Sun is on a new journey once it enters emotional, sentimental Pisces on the 18th. It joins talk planet Mercury and the planet of love and relating Venus in Pisces. Mercury enters the water sign Pisces on the 6th followed by Venus on the 10th.
This suggests that you may be dealing with what’s hidden and be focused more on your inner self or your spiritual path rather than the world outside. In fact, this is a positive period to engage with healing or self-reflection.
When Pisces’ energy is strong, you may be taking a trip down memory lane or be engaging with your emotions more powerfully. Enjoy intimate relationships with the ones you love or a spiritual, divine connection.
Money is significant too, as Pisces is the star sign which represents joint finances and shared resources in your horoscope. Finances could be an emotional issue whether this concerns an inheritance or you’re splitting finances with someone close so you can both move on.
Aim to make the right financial moves, not only to sort out your own money situation but consider how you can help others or team up with people close to you. Perhaps, you’re involved in fundraising or charity work.
However, timing is key and this is because the planet of communication Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces on the 26th and will remain on go slow until March 20.
Mercury retrograde isn’t a good time to make a major financial decision or investment. Instead, try to get things wrapped up or finalised before the 26th. Once Mercury is on go slow, you may have to be patient or play a waiting game when it comes to money.
Yet, this can be helpful for renegotiating or reconsidering your financial options. Sometimes, you go back to an old idea or project or you’re looking at life and money from an alternative perspective.
If you’re feeling unsure, however, take your time and don’t rush into a new financial agreement or deal. If you have to sign and seal a contract, ensure you read the small print carefully.
Saturn Enters Aries
Saturn’s move into Aries on February 14 highlights the sector of your horoscope which rules travel and study, the bigger picture in life. This is where Saturn will remain until April 2028.
You may be considering emigration or a move abroad. Or perhaps, you want to take a sabbatical or gain new qualifications. This could coincide with a change of plan or the realisation that one dream may not happen. Remember that Saturn rules endings as well as commitment.
Perhaps, you commit to a two year course of study or you realise what’s not working out. Either way, it’s a good time to make a major decision and consider where your ethics and values are calling you.
Saturn/Neptune Conjunction
The Saturn/Neptune conjunction falls in Aries and your travel and study sector on February 20. This is asking you to engage actively with the world and expand your experience of life, your beliefs or philosophy.
