Aquarius Season – Solar Eclipse
February’s a month when you’re wise to get practical and pay attention to the logistics of life. This may mean dealing with money matters or joint finances as Aquarius is the star sign of the moment.
Talk planet Mercury is in Aquarius until the 6th, the planet of relating Venus is here until the 10th and the Sun’s in Aquarius until the 18th. In addition, action planet Mars is turning up the heat in Aquarius all month and encouraging you to be proactive when it comes to money.
Aquarius rules all forms of finances in your horoscope, including savings, loans, debt, investments, mortgages, taxes, etc. It might not only be one area of finances under the cosmic spotlight and it’s a time when contracts and negotiations around money are likely to be foreground.
Also this month, there’s a Full Moon cutting across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac and your money sectors on the 1st. Use this Full Moon to make a clear decision about money. This may mean stopping a payment or minimising expenses. Do what you know is right and feels right. Full Moons are ideal for balancing your head with your heart.
The financial axis of your horoscope is going to be under the cosmic spotlight moving forward. This is because a new eclipse cycle begins this month cutting across the star signs Leo and Aquarius. The first eclipse is a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on the 17th and most of the eclipses in this cycle will be Solar Eclipses. This eclipse cycle continues until January 2028.
This indicates that there may be accelerated growth around finances, money and investments moving forward. It’s not a steady and stable picture by any means and, at times, you may sense that you’re on a roller-coaster ride.
In addition, both the Sun and Moon square wild-card Uranus during this eclipse and the planet of the unexpected is unusually active this month. Uranus turns direct on the 4th and squares the inner planets on the 5th, 8th, 16th & 27th.
Therefore, you’re wise not to leap in feet first into a new deal or financial arrangement without due care and attention. Uranus is in Taurus and your friendship and group sector so consider what may be working against you financially and where you might need to pull back. The dates mentioned aren’t great for being impulsive so think things through carefully this month.
Pisces Season – Mercury Retrograde
Also this month, there’s strong emphasis on your fellow water sign Pisces and this could be helpful for you. The planet of communication Mercury is here from the 6th followed by the planet of relating Venus on the 10th and the Sun enters Pisces on the 18th.
This feels creative for you so lean into daydreaming and any activity that takes you beyond the everyday. Pisces is a cosmic star sign linked to wonder and the realm of fantasy and dreams.
Plus, Pisces rules travel and study in your horoscope, it’s about the bigger picture and lining up adventure and new experiences. Be around people who inspire you and expand your learning.
Global connections fall under the Pisces umbrella so accept invitations that move you beyond your four walls. Step out of your comfort zone, reach out to other people and say yes to a new opportunity which comes your way. If you’re a typical Sun Cancer, you have a vivid imagination and this is an excellent time to learn more, be curious and soul-led.
However, communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces on the 26th and will remain on go slow until March 20. This doesn’t mean don’t travel. However, double check everything carefully and be flexible and adaptable. Give yourself extra time to get from A to B and learn to love the journey as much as reaching the destination.
What’s recommended when Mercury is on go slow in Pisces is to take time out. You could go on retreat or take a staycation. Perhaps, there’s a creative project you want to immerse yourself in.
Mercury retrograde can be helpful for doing research or focusing on inner work. It’s a reminder not to rush headlong through life but to savour the richness and beauty of the small things.
Saturn Enters Aries
Aries is your career and vocation sector, your future path. Therefore, you may be ready to step into a new role or position of responsibility once Saturn moves into Aries on February 14 where it will remain until April 2028.
Alternatively, you may be considering retirement or your current job or role is coming to an end. Both are possible as Saturn represents authority and commitment, also endings.
Sometimes, Saturn in your career sector indicates a powerful boss or authority figure in your life. A good question to ask is where it would be most meaningful and worthwhile to channel your time and energy over the next two years?
