This is about people and connections for you urging you to reach out, connect and recharge your friendships. It’s a top month to get involved with a new group and find a way to help others and make a difference to people’s lives.
You may be aware of the power of your voice, especially from the 16th onwards when your ruling planet Mercury returns Aries. Perhaps, you’re seeking a way to connect online or share your thoughts in a different context as the month progresses.
It could be an exceptionally busy time when you’re juggling different connections, networks, ideas and projects. If you’re a typical Gemini, you’re a multi-tasker and you often have several projects on the go at once.
Some of the connections you make could be powerful, for you or them. This might be a relationship with a third party. Or perhaps, you’re the one who’s stepping up your game.
Mercury Turns Direct
This month, there are two important turning points and the first is most significant for you. This is because your ruling planet is Mercury, the planet of communication.
And, on the 7th, Mercury is back up to speed after three weeks retrograde. It’s been an unusually chaotic Mercury retrograde phase since Mercury moved into reverse motion on March 15th.
Mercury turns direct in Pisces and your career and vocation sector. If you’ve been waiting to hear about a job, promotion or career-related project, Mercury turning direct could be the green light you’ve been waiting for. Often, news or new information is revealed as Mercury switches direction.
Venus Turns Direct/Full Moon
There’s another turning point almost a week later when the planet of love and relating Venus turns direct on the 13th. Like Mercury, Venus switches direction in Pisces and your career and future sector.
Venus has been retrograde for a longer period since March 2nd. If you’ve recently lost the support of someone influential, reach out to them mid-month. It’s a powerful time for making connections that can benefit you on your future path.
Venus rules women so consider how working alongside other women could help you. When you get the support of the right people on your team or by your side, this can make a difference. Notice who’s a positive influence in your life. Events mid-month could reveal more.
On the same day as Venus turns direct, the 13th, a powerful Full Moon takes place which cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac and highlights the social sectors of your horoscope.
This would be an ideal Full Moon for celebrating or partying. Make the most of the passionate Full Moon vibes. Libra rules children, romance and creativity in your horoscope while Aries rules friends.
Therefore, this may be a significant time for a friendship in your life or your involvement with a group, club or society. If you’ve been feeling confused about a friendship or person of influence, the light of the Full Moon could bring clarity.
Down Time & Self Care/New Moon
You’re wise to balance your commitments carefully this month. Ideally, have one foot out in the world and one foot firmly placed wherever you find quiet or solitude.
This is because the Sun moves into Taurus and the most hidden sector of your horoscope on the 19th. This turns the focus towards your inner life when you may want or need more time and space to be quiet and reflective..
Engage actively with your inner state, whether you meditate, do yoga or follow a spiritual teaching. Learn how to keep your inner voice calm and use this period for self-reflection.
Sometimes, when there are planets in Taurus, you need to be vigilant about self-care. Or perhaps, you’re caring for someone close. Even though you may choose to spend more time on your own towards the end of April, ensure there are people in your life who can support and advise you. Talk to a friend, a counsellor or coach. Or if you’re a believer, talk to God. The New Moon in Taurus on the 27th could lead the way.
Mars’ Power
There’s another important shift this month as action planet Mars leaves Cancer and your personal money sector and moves into Leo and your communication sector on the 18th.
You may be less actively engaged with earning money or a financial struggle from mid-month onwards. Take your foot off the accelerator for now and trust that things will start to shift and change for the better from June onwards.
Mars in Leo is firing up your communication and community sector. Yet, Mars is in feisty mood as it clashes with the Sun on the 21st and power planet Pluto on the 27th. This is the same day as the New Moon in Taurus, a symbol of new beginnings.
Yet, Pluto can symbolise something coming to an end. This could coincide with the cancellation of a trip away or a study course. Be wary of what you get involved with at the end of April.
Some arguments could flare up dramatically, perhaps around religion or beliefs. Take care of being overly impulsive as shooting from the hip could backfire against you.
