Also, it’s a good idea to get on the right side of people of influence. The air signs – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius – are dominant as they create a Grand Air Trine in the heavens on the 14th.

Scorpio Season
Scorpio season begins officially on the 23rd when the Sun enters Scorpio. However, this month, Scorpio intensity is active throughout October for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, communication planet Mercury is in Scorpio from the 6th to the 29th. Mercury in Scorpio favours insight and focus when it comes to words and communication. Secondly, action planet Mars is in Scorpio and your friendship and group sector throughout October. This is where power can be found.
This confirms that you’re more powerful when you expand your network and connections. Don’t feel you have to do everything on your own this month. These combinations are great for teamwork and collaborative ventures.
If you have a big decision to make about a group in which you’re involved, it’s the ideal time to be decisive. Ensure you have the right support and align yourself with people in a position of power or influence. This may be what’s needed if life takes you down a new path.
The key date is the 20th when Mercury and Mars align in Scorpio. This combination favours walking your talk and doing what you say. Notice who comes into your life on or around this date and where the balance of power lies.
The last week of the month could be emotional as two Grand Water Trines are forming. These involve Mercury and Mars in Scorpio, expansive Jupiter in Cancer and your ruling planet Saturn in Pisces. These are the people sectors of your horoscopes and the water signs are intuitive and empathic.
You may be called upon to be an authority or to step into a leadership role. Alternatively, you may be the one supporting other people to step up, perhaps your partner, either personal or professional.
This combination favours emotional intelligence and using the power of your emotions to bring about change. Jupiter represents the law and there’s truth and fairness in the mix. Consider your role in bringing people together, perhaps to heal a rift or to promote the work of a group or social cause.
However, note that Mercury is slowing down towards the end of October as the planet of communication will turn retrograde on November 9th. Therefore, note that some negotiations may take longer than expected, especially linked to friends, groups, politics and wider social issues.
Neptune Returns To Pisces
Last month, your ruling planet Saturn returned to water sign Pisces on September 1st. Pisces is your communication and community sector. It rules siblings, relatives and neighbours in your horoscope.
This month, Neptune joins Saturn in Pisces on the 22nd and both planets are completing their journeys through this sector of your horoscope. Saturn moved into Pisces in March 2023 and Neptune moved here in 2011. Therefore, you’re wise to ask yourself what you’re going back to complete, perhaps something that triggers you emotionally.
Both Saturn and Neptune will leave Pisces early 2026 but for the next three months, they’re encouraging you to dive in deep. This could be around social media or mainstream media, whether you’re moving away from it or using it as a vehicle of expression.
Planets in Pisces encourage you to surrender and let go. Perhaps, you realise there’s nothing more you can do in a personal situation and it’s a time for acceptance rather than seeking resolution.
Pluto Turns Direct
The slowest-moving planet Pluto turns direct in Aquarius, the star sign linked to technology, equality and the collective on the 14th. Pluto’s themes are transformation and deep psychological change.
Aquarius is the star sign which rules money in your horoscope, your personal finances and your values. Pluto’s linked to hidden wealth and this may be a time when you want to use your money to benefit society. Or perhaps, you have some tough decisions to make around finances. Take your time to ensure you wield your power to good effect.
Pluto turning direct could mean that a financial deal gets the go-ahead. Alternatively, it means you have to work harder to make your way financially.
