Love & Relationships
You may sense a shift in your relationships this month. This is because of the emphasis on your opposite star sign Cancer. The Sun’s here until the 22nd and big planet Jupiter took up residence in Cancer and your relationship sector last month. Jupiter will remain here until June 2026. Therefore, it’s wise to consider why relationships and partnership are foreground in your life.
Other people are undoubtedly important now and this may be for different reasons. If you’re a typical Capricorn, it’s not always easy for you to take a step back and let someone else take the lead. Yet, that might be what needs to happen. Alternatively, there may be other reasons why you have to follow rather than lead and let other people take care of you.
You may find that your relationships are shifting and changing now and over the coming year and Jupiter’s a positive influence in your relationship sector. Therefore, you’re wise to veer away from people who drain your energy and move closer towards people who inspire and support you.
The Full Moon on the 10th is likely to be a pivotal moment regarding your one-to-ones, both personal and professional. This Full Moon falls in your star sign Capricorn, so trust your intuition and listen to your emotions. It’s an ideal Full Moon for making a key decision about a relationship situation. Do you commit or quit?
Money Matters
Money matters are under the cosmic spotlight this month. This is because planet of communication Mercury is in Leo and your joint finance sector throughout July. Plus, the Sun is shining here from the 22nd onwards.
Therefore, this would be a good month to talk money and finances and get things sorted out sooner rather than later. The New Moon on the 24th falls in Leo and is a positive date to set your intentions around money as a New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings.
You could be asked to do a presentation on money or decide to talk to your bank manager or a financial expert. One way or another, it’s the right time to be improving your financial situation and boosting your earnings. Joint ventures in particular are well-starred.
There is a proviso, however, because this is a retrograde month when planets are starting to switch direction and move backwards through the zodiac. Often, this is a time to favour caution rather than take a big risk.
Communication planet Mercury will be retrograde from the 18th to August 11th and Mercury is one of the planets linked to the money markets. Traditionally, you’re wise not to make a major investment during this period and know that the stock markets could go crazy. If this is your speciality, however, you might be able to win big if there are more ups and downs than usual.
Also, two other planets switch direction, the planet of dreams Neptune on the 4th and your ruling planet Saturn on the 13th. Both planets are currently in Aries, the star sign at the base of your horoscope ruling your home and family, your past and where you come from.
Therefore, this suggests that things could stall around these key areas. Perhaps, a property deal doesn’t work out. Or you change your mind about a major shift within your family.
Know that Saturn and Neptune will return to Aries early next year and they make a major conjunction here on February 20, 2026. You might be wise to work towards this date if you have some major home and family decisions to make.
Virgo Vibes
Also this month, you could benefit from a change of scene. If you’re planning a holiday or a trip way, you’re in tune with your stars. This is because action planet Mars is in Virgo and your travel sector throughout July, leading the way into Virgo season which starts on August 22nd.
Therefore, you may choose to expand your horizons this month and take yourself out of your usual surroundings. If you want to book a holiday or sign up for a course, ideally do so before Mercury turns retrograde. However, note that Mercury retrograde is a great time for going on retreat and taking a breather from everyday life.
If you are travelling after the 18th, double check visas, passports, etc. Also, note that sometimes your plans change and you end up taking a diversion.
Virgo is linked to education, publishing, the media and the law in your horoscope. One of these key areas could be foreground in your life. Virgo’s a studious and hard-working influence, a time to ensure you have all the facts at your fingertips..
Uranus Enters Gemini
There’s another major shift taking place this month because the planet of innovation and change Uranus moves star sign for the first time in seven years. On the 7th, Uranus leaves earth sign Taurus where it’s been since 2018.
In your horoscope, Taurus rules creative projects, children, entertainment, love affairs and luck. Wherever Uranus goes, life is rarely stable, rather exciting and unpredictable.
Plus, Uranus is leaving Taurus with a gift for you. This is because there’s a lovely Venus/Uranus conjunction in Taurus on the 4th, just before both planets change star sign. These two planets coming together could bring something or someone special your way.
Uranus will be back in Taurus from November 2025 to April 2026 but then it’s gone. Uranus is moving into Gemini and your work, routine, health and lifestyle sector and you may be aware of this on or around the 7th. Straightaway, this combination is flexible and busy.
The whoosh of energy could bring in a new job or contract. Or perhaps, you’re ready to lead a more freelance or independent lifestyle. Gemini’s the jack of all trades and this would be a great time to learn a new skill to add to your portfolio. Gemini’s the star sign of communication and languages too.
Regarding your health, Uranus in Gemini favours alternative medicine and a flexible fitness plan.
Mercury Retrograde Do’s & Don’ts
Remember the Mercury retrograde mantra – put off the big decisions & major investments when the communication planet is on go slow from July 18th to August 11th. Here are some top tips:
- be flexible, have plans B, C & D up your sleeve
- take a step back, do less not more
- double-check everything, read the small print
- chase up old contacts, revisit the past
- use all the re-words – revise, rework, review, reconsider
- rest & retreat, take a break, go on holiday
- do your research ready to act when Mercury turns direct
