Turning Points
There’s a significant turning point this month when the planet of communication Mercury switches direction on the 11th. Mercury turned retrograde on July 18th and it’s been an unusually chaotic Mercury retrograde phase.
When Mercury turns direct, this often brings news or information to light. Mercury picks up speed in Leo and your joint finance sector. Therefore, you may be involved in sorting out your finances, creating new systems or tidying up your financial situation.
You could receive the money you’ve been waiting for mid-month. Or you hear about a new money-making opportunity.
Plus, the following day, the 12th, there’s a glorious Venus-Jupiter conjunction in your opposite star sign Cancer. Venus and Jupiter are the two best planets and they come together once a year. They can represent big love or big money.
Cancer’s your relationship and partnership sector. Therefore, it would be a positive time to sign a contract for a joint venture or similar. Or perhaps, you benefit through your partner’s success. It would be a lovely time of month to do something special with your other half.
Leo Season
Money matters are under the cosmic spotlight throughout August. This is because the Sun is shining bright in Leo and your joint finance sector until the 22nd and talk planet Mercury is in Leo all month. Plus, the planet of relating Venus enters Leo on the 25th.
Therefore, this is a great month to talk money and finances and get things sorted out, especially with other people.
The Full Moon on the 9th is likely to be a pivotal moment in the month. This powerful Full Moon cuts across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac and the financial axis of your horoscope. Full Moons often bring enlightenment or insight. You may be keen to make a decision about a financial matter and fast.
This leads you in nicely to the end of the Mercury retrograde phase. If you’ve been holding off from investing or spending money, you can confidently push ahead after the Full Moon.
If you’re in the middle of a property move, the 12th or 29th could be revealing. A new job or contract might open doors for you. This is a positive time for sharing resources with family. Perhaps, you start a family business this month.
Leo’s a confident star sign and encourages you to fake it till you make it, even when you’re not feeling confident. You might be asked to do a presentation around money. Or you’re talking to your bank manager or a financial expert. One way or another, this is the time to be improving your financial situation and boosting your earnings. Joint ventures in particular are well-starred.
Virgo Season
When planets are in Leo, this often goes hand in hand with drama. This isn’t always easy for you being one of the more conservative earth signs as you don’t always deal well with other people flying off the handle or behaving badly.
Yet, there’s another planetary influence this month which could be helpful for you. Up until the 6th, action planet Mars is in your fellow earth sign Virgo. This is where Mars has been since June 17th, although the Mercury retrograde phase hasn’t been helpful for taking action.
Virgo season kicks in properly from the 22nd onwards when the Sun enters Virgo. This indicates a slower and steadier pace and you may be glad for a rest or a break from feisty fire sign activity.
Virgo rules your travel and study sector so you might be planning some time out or a trip away somewhere different. A change of scene could help you gain a fresh perspective on an emotional or financial situation.
Alternatively, you may have had enough of more serious issues and be ready to embrace new experiences. You might start a course or be keen to expand your learning. Seek meaning in life beyond the everyday.
The New Moon falls in Virgo on the 23rd, a symbol of new beginnings. This would be an ideal date to book a holiday or sign up to an educational course. Things do look lively, however, because the Sun clashes with unpredictable Uranus in Gemini and your work and health sector on the 24th.
You could do something wild and impulsive on or around this date and leave a steady job. Do what feels right for you but be wary of jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. Ensure you have the right kind of support from other people lined up and work together as a team.
Career Peaks
There’s another influence calling you in August as action planet Mars leads the other planets to the peak of your horoscope in the star sign Libra. Mars enters Libra on the 6th where it will remain until September 22nd, the start of Libra season.
Libra rules your career and vocation, your status and reputation. You could find your drive and ambition returning or your career gets a boost in the right direction.
It’s is a top month to focus on your future path, aim high and rev up your ambitious nature. This is especially important if you’re dealing with a debt situation or you’re fighting over money. Another reason why you’re wise to get the best expert and/or legal advice.
