Turning Points
There’s a significant turning point on the 11th when the planet of communication Mercury turns direct. This spells good news as it’s been an unusually chaotic Mercury retrograde phase. Mercury switched direction into reverse mode on July 18th.
Hopefully, news or information comes to light once Mercury is back up to speed in Leo and your relationship sector. This would be a good time to reach out to others and reopen the lines of communication. If someone has gone quiet or you or you’ve been waiting on a third party, chase things up mid-month.
The following day, the 12th, there’s a glorious Venus-Jupiter conjunction taking place, the two best planets coming together in the kind and caring star sign Cancer. Venus will remain in Cancer until the 25th and Jupiter’s going to be here for the next twelve months.
Cancer rules your work and health sector and this is a positive time to focus on teamwork and ensure you have a creative group of people around you. Be supportive of work colleagues and ask for help and advice in return. Having people who care for you deeply could be the best form of medicine.
Plus, the Venus-Jupiter conjunction often coincides with a gift. Perhaps, you hear a positive health diagnosis for someone close. Or you get headhunted or chosen for a new work or team role.
Leo Season
The spotlight’s firmly on other people this month with so much planetary activity in your opposite star sign Leo. Communication planet Mercury’s here throughout August and the Sun is in Leo until the 22nd. Plus, the planet of relating Venus joins the Leo party on the 25th.
Venus in Leo can be gorgeous for love. You might be in the throes of a new romance or love affair. This could peak mid-month or on the 26th/27th. However, it could be complicated. Perhaps, you fall for someone who’s not available or you have to spend some time apart.
The pivotal time in the month could be the Full Moon on the 9th as it falls in your star sign Aquarius. Full Moons often bring completion or culmination and this is an important Full Moon for listening to your intuition. Ideally, balance your head and heart in making a key relationship decision.
Aquarius rules your personal goals and aims, your image and profile. Your identity may be changing this month. Or you see yourself differently. Whatever’s foreground for you, stop and take a breath, consider where you’ve come from, where you’re heading and why.
If you’re starting a business venture or entering into a contractual agreement, you’re wise to do so from the Full Moon onwards. If you’re moving into a new relationship phase, you may be wise to sign a prenup or discuss the financial implications.
When planets are in Leo, it’s easy to get swept up in the passion of love but a different response may be needed because of what else is going on in your astrology.
Virgo Season
The focus is on finances as the month begins. This is due to action planet Mars moving through Virgo and your joint finance sector up until the 6th. Mars has been in Virgo since June 17th but has been incapacitated, to some extent, thanks to the Mercury retrograde phase. When Mercury’s in retreat, it’s not the ideal time to make a big investment or sort out money matters.
Once Virgo season begins and the Sun moves into your joint finance sector on the 22nd, then finances get the go-ahead.
Plus, there’s a New Moon in Virgo on the 23rd, a symbol of new beginnings. This is your cue to get your cosmic ducks in order, sort out your finances and feel the earth under your feet.
Notice your motivations around money and be aware that life could step in to lead you in a new direction. This is because your modern planet Uranus squares the Sun in Virgo immediately after the New Moon, on the 24th.
Uranus is a rebellious, radical influence and currently in Gemini and the sector of your horoscope ruling children, romance, entertainment and leisure activities. Perhaps, someone close throws a curve ball your way which impacts you financially. Try to ensure you’re not the one creating chaos.
Yet, there seems to be support at hand thanks to your two ruling planets working together. Saturn and Uranus are well-connected on the 12th. Perhaps, you have relatives who can help you with an issue regarding a child or lover. Or you’re getting involved in your local community.
It’s an ideal combination to trade or sell your art or market a creative talent. This theme remains foreground on the 29th.
New Horizons
Finally this month, you may sense a pull towards seeing the world or saving the world. This is because of the emphasis on the star sign Libra once action planet Mars revs up this sector of your horoscope from the 6th onwards. Libra is a fellow air sign which rules travel and study, the bigger picture in life and Mars will remain here until September 22nd, leading the way into Libra season.
Mars is a dynamic and go-getting influence. You might choose to volunteer abroad or be travelling with your current job or work.
Foreign connections are the theme, whether you immerse yourself in a new culture or work alongside people from different backgrounds and countries. Notice if any new invitations come your way this month, especially between the 8th to the 10th, and step out of your comfort zone.
Listen out for synchronicities too, on the 15th & 18th. When you meet the right person, magic can happen. Someone could open doors for you. Alternatively, it might be your path to benefit a youngster or someone in a position of need.
